Vini & panini In Monopoli

Absolutely fantastic food and service! The best service we’ve had in our week of travel in Apulia.

"Vini e Panini" is a must-visit in the heart of the historic center. The food is divine: platters of excellent cured meats and cheeses, and amazing sandwiches, from gourmet ones with red tuna and salmon to more rustic ones with zampina sausage. The selection of Apulian wines is excellent, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff makes you feel right at home. A quaint, authentic place, highly recommended for a high-quality, informal meal. We'll be back!

If you're looking for a place to soak up the authentic atmosphere of Monopoli, "Vini e Panini" is a must-see. Don't expect the usual touristy spot: here, the quality of the ingredients speaks for itself. Yesterday I had the swordfish frisa, topped with the freshest cherry tomatoes, a poetic extra virgin olive oil, and incredible "poverella" zucchini... but you can also choose from a selection of sandwiches made with excellent local ingredients. Not to mention the platters of Apulian cured meats and cheeses... The wine selection is carefully curated and perfect to accompany the meal: the staff, especially the great Gianni, knows how to recommend the right wine (often local) to enhance every bite. For children... sandwiches are also custom-made! In short... PERFECT!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and informal, ideal for a quick but tasty lunch or an evening aperitif in the heart of the historic center. The quality-price ratio is excellent, considering the freshness of the ingredients. Highly recommended for those who want good, simple, and authentic food. We go at least once a week.

A good vibe and price for drinks and food. Meatballs were average but the atmosphere was bustling. However, we were very confused when (after ordering 3 rounds of drinks and appetisers) we were suddenly told that if we did not order more food we were not allowed to play cards??? There were multiple free tables available so unsure why. A disappointing end to a nice experience here so please keep in mind.

Fantastic place in Monopoli with authentic snack and good wine. We were there twice during our trip. Very friendly staff and tasty food! Recommended!

Delicious! We ordered some typical things to share and it was absolutely delicious: mozzarella, focaccia, Parma ham... 🤩

Excellent venue with welcoming and highly qualified staff, perfect for an after-dinner drink or dinner. Excellent prices for the quality and central location. A great place to visit, thanks once again to the staff, who make the atmosphere even more welcoming. Best place in downtown Monopoli.

This place was amazing for Gluten intolerant people. We got the Paninis and you can choose to have them with Gluten free bread which was a game changer for me. Something to keep in mind is there still is cross contamination in their kitchen. But overall we were very happy with this place!!

We ended up at the gluten free shop by accident - it’s a tiny take out shop a couple of doors along from the main restaurant. Nothing was a problem - we wanted to sit and eat our sandwich so the lady took us along the street and got us a table so we could sort drinks. Delicious focaccia sandwich, great service and atmosphere. We were recommended this place by a local and it didn’t disappoint.
