03/10/2025: I'm leaving this review after a few months. The long-haired waiter's rudeness and discourtesy reached the point where he threw onto the table—in a truly impolite and disrespectful gesture—the meat traceability card we'd ordered from my husband, who had politely requested it out of pure curiosity, as he works in the industry. In this regard, I emphasize the consumer's right to food information, governed by EU Regulation No. 1169/2011. Therefore, even in restaurants, if a customer asks for the origin and other mandatory information about the meat, the restaurant owner or his representative is required to provide it. I only kept my cool because we were with friends and didn't want the evening to be ruined by this kind gentleman's rudeness, but I would have gotten up and left immediately. We've never set foot in the restaurant again, and we never will.

28/09/2025: Welcoming, modern, and refined atmosphere. Prompt and precise service. Dishes are well-balanced, and the menu ranges from appetizers that showcase the local cuisine to sandwiches in various shapes, ending with meat, cooked to perfection in the Josper oven. The desserts are also excellent. A wide selection of wines and, especially, beers is available. Special mention goes to chef Onofrio Squeo, who, in addition to his superb cuisine, welcomes his guests, offers advice, and conveys his passion for his work. Highly recommended, even for children!

09/03/2026: I really like this place... I've been back after a while and everything is always excellent... the first courses, the panzerotti... the waiters are really kind and the atmosphere is very family-friendly... I recommend it.

09/03/2026: Very nice and welcoming place, friendly staff, but a word of advice: if you really want to cook authentic Bari food, go for quality! The food was poor... everything was frozen except the pizza, nothing special anyway... not to mention the bill... 3 dirty mussels for €15... crazy... we won't be back.

15/03/2026: Magnificent experience, the 3 of us chose to taste their "Al Poggio" appetizer (hot and cold) what can I say... flavors that make the palate happy followed by a delicious "Arrosto Misto", a sliced ​​​​beef with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar and finally we had two pizzas, both cooked well and very good, a 10 to this place for food, service and hospitality ☺️

04/11/2025: I went for the first time to a karaoke night. The pizza was top-notch, the staff was top-notch, even though the appetizer pizza arrived first. But it didn't matter, everything was fine.

30/08/2025: We celebrated a colleague's birthday, but it was a disappointment. The pizza was decent, but the rest of the food was poor quality. The location was shabby and outdated. We thought we'd have fun with karaoke, but it was a disaster. The person playing the music wasn't at all engaging, mostly just letting a few people he already knew sing, making them sound like they were participating in a singing competition. The average age of the customers was high, and the music was old and sad.

08/11/2025: We were lucky to find this place during our holiday in Puglia. They have fantastic ice creams in many wonderful flavours. You get spoilt for choice but all were of exceptional quality. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly which makes your visit even more enjoyable. They also offered samples to try before buying which is a nice gesture. Overall, exceptional quality and service. Would highly recommend.

25/02/2026: A pleasant, well-kept atmosphere. Typical, home-cooked Apulian cuisine of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

13/02/2026: My friend and I both had stomach upsets after eating the chicken escalope and the grilled chicken, respectively. My meat was really rubbery and full of oil. The quality is evident from the price they offer for the lunch menu, but it remains unacceptable.

15/01/2026: Always impeccable in the open presentation of their dishes and the freshness of their products. The raw seafood and risotto are excellent.

14/01/2026: Wonderful experience!! I stumbled upon this trattoria by chance and it was a fantastic discovery; I had one of the best tagliata I've ever had. The service was fast, courteous, and helpful. I'll be back as soon as I have the chance.

07/09/2025: A regular stop after the beach in Polignano Sud. Excellent gelato, friendly staff, and always available restrooms. There are tables inside, but for some time now, you can also enjoy "Polignanonese" food at no extra charge outside. The place is a bit old-fashioned and off the beaten path, so we love it! 😊

05/09/2025: Superb cappuccino. We spent a week in Polignano, coming once a day for a morning cappuccino or a special afternoon coffee. Very friendly staff.

02/05/2025: An unusually cozy restaurant. Quiet and calm atmosphere. Had a perfectly fried tuna with sesame seeds. Also a lovely Primitivo wine. Can highly recommend the place.

25/04/2025: We stopped here for a glass of wine. Two mediocre glasses, a few olives, and tarallini: €16. The wine was served without even seeing the bottle. The name "wine bar" is all there is to it. It seems a bit overpriced for what's on offer. The atmosphere is chaotic, full of random objects; there's no real identity.

23/02/2026: Our boat ride to the Grotto was canceled due to rough seas, so we went on a drive and stopped off at a great experience last summer. Friendly and helpful service. We ate things that we wouldn't normally eat raw, but the seafood was fresh and much less saltier than what we are used to back home. I now know why Italian white wines don't pair as well with these items back home. Cleaner taste and less salt. Thanks for opening my eyes.

01/02/2026: I used to be a regular customer (at least once a week) at this fish shop, despite the slightly higher-than-average prices, because I've always found the quality to be above average. This time, however, the one-star rating is due to an incident that really pissed me off. Last week, I went there to buy everything I needed to make seafood risotto. I never buy mixed seafood because I like to mix and match the ingredients to my liking. I also buy unopened mussels because I like to open them myself to use their water. This time, however, it was late and I didn't have time to open them, so I opted for the so-called clean-shell mussels. I should preface this by saying that I hate Spanish mussels because they have a smell and taste that I don't like, even though they're larger than the others. That said, I asked an employee working the mussel counter (to be fair, not the foreigner, who has always been kind and professional) if the clean-shelled mussels were Spanish, because they're often the ones used for clean-shelled mussels. He was a middle-aged man I often see cleaning fish, and that day he was working alongside the foreigner. He replied that they were of Adriatic origin, and despite my asking for further reassurance, he assured me. So I decided to buy them and go home to make the risotto. Needless to say, as soon as I dropped the mussels into the risotto, a terrible odor was released, rendering it inedible and forcing me to throw it away, resulting in considerable financial loss (clams, white walnuts, cockles, tagliatelle, prawns, and scampi). Not to mention the fact that my Sunday lunch was ruined. Unfortunately, this episode has made me so angry that I just can't get over it. So much so that I've decided never to return to this fish shop again. I feel sorry for them, but I'll spend my money elsewhere.

01/02/2026: A quiet place to eat well, with plenty of choice, and without wasting too much time. Choose your dish—poke, sandwich, or salad (custom options are also available)—and go to the cashier to pay using a device. When the device rings, you pick up your dish. Very fast service, and the products are varied and high-quality. I recommend it for a different kind of lunch or dinner!
