Messo 1 di valutazione perché ci avevano detto che a cena non servivano orecchiette mentre ad una comitiva di amici, venuti dopo di noi con raccomandazione, hanno servito le orecchiette. Caduta di stile. Ovviamente ho fatto presente la cosa alla cassiera, che poverina non sapeva che dire.

01/11/2024: Poorly organized place, 13 seats were booked. Once we arrived at the pizzeria we sat down, after a while they made us get up telling us that they had understood that there were only 3 places booked. I do not recommend it because we had booked from half past five to around 8 and once we sat down in the pizzeria they made us raise making us run out of dinner and ruining our evening.

23/03/2025: Nice place to spend evenings for dinner even in winter enjoying the new, well-kept and very beautiful environment. Very attentive and efficient table service. Good choice of wines. Good menu and value for money. Try the octopus in red onion cream. The choice and preparation of desserts is also good. It is an excellent solution in Santo Spirito.

22/12/2024: Sono stata a cena in questa braceria davvero deludente. A partire dal servizio lento, la tovaglia era sporca, tovaglioli e acqua inesistenti. Antipasti nulla di eccezionale (un semplice piatto di bruschette per quattro persone , due piatti di carpaccio e un piatto di brasciole alla modica cifra di €80). C’era poca scelta riguardo la carne, ed è stata aggiunta carne senza il nostro consenso, pagandola perché già pronta. Come contorno sono state richieste delle patate e non sono arrivate, l’entrecotte era totalmente cruda. Il prezzo per un piatto di bruschette, due piatti di carpaccio, uno di brasciole, una tagliata e due entrecotte è stato di €140 (€70 a coppia). È stato richiesto lo scontrino specifico poiché non effettuato dal titolare, ma tutto era tranne che “specifico”, il conto è stato fatto a mente dalla calcolatrice di un iPhone, senza sapere i relativi prezzi. Menu assente, sono presenti degli antipasti che il cameriere propone ma puoi prenderne uno o dieci e il prezzo non cambia. Pessima esperienza, sicuramente sarà sconsigliato a chiunque.

30/03/2025: We stayed here for 3 nights. Great and warm welcome by Anna. The room we picked was a bit small for all of our luggage but thats not the Masseria’s problem😅. The room was clean and nice. The heater worked perfect. I loved the shower. The breakfast and dinner was the best. I’ve had the best pizza here! I hope you will open a few pitches for a caravan between the olive trees so I can come visit again but then with my caravan😉.

27/12/2024: I am responding to Mr. Roberto Strippoli's counterargument regarding a series of inaccuracies he described to justify what happened on July 26, the day of my daughter's first birthday. 1. The agreed upon and not "paid" price (his quote) was a small discount (wanted by you) on a decidedly substantial total price. We were finally offered to return to the establishment for a "reparative" lunch for the damage suffered, as if this could erase what had happened. Did we return? Obviously not. 2. Ants on the tables? You are not aware of it because among the many things said during and at the end of the party we forgot to mention it. I understand the summer evening but eating with numerous insects walking on the tables is not pleasant, whether it is in the garden or not. "A thousand precautions?" (his quote) What were they? Remind me because I am having a memory lapse. 3. Sparkling water issue: "you heard two waiters" (his quote). We only heard two because we didn't have any other staff. "Among them they reported that the water had run out" (quote from her) at this point it is she who confirms the fact that the staff reported that the water in the refrigerators had run out, therefore she confirmed what happened: that from that moment on the water no longer arrived. Going into the beverage detail, one of her two waiters had the courage to say that the drinks were also on the buffet at the counter, as if to get a simple Coke it was necessary to get up to go and get it. I find it truly absurd and ridiculous. 4. The party was organized as a buffet. I confirm what she said but I reiterate that it was not expected that the drinks were also included in this choice (something that has never been seen anywhere). "At the time of service, several tables were requested to be served" (quote from her). Here we are mistaken because the only two people at the table who were served were my in-laws because my father-in-law was unable to get up from the table because he was disabled. This issue was stated well in advance. I therefore apologize if the only two waiters had to work harder for this. 5. Quality of food: "according to your relatives, the perception was completely different". During or at the end of the party I don't think anyone came to compliment you on the food or anything else. No one showed up and I can guarantee you this since we were the only three to enter the payment room. For intellectual honesty, as you say, I repeat that the buffet was chosen by us, it's true, but not also for the drinks service (water at the counter) no one in their right mind would have chosen that as an option. By buffet I think they mean the food and nothing else. I won't go into the details of the "significant discount" (her quote) because it's funny to think about the amount that was discounted on the total: a discount that I emphasize was wanted by you, because we could have easily paid and pulverized in a nanosecond. And now I'll add some other ideas to remember the "splendid" evening spent. We had been offered 5 Apulian carts: seen in photos and shown by her at the time of the interview. How many carts were there that day? Two and not like the ones we saw. Meat corner? I only saw a BBQ that looked like the one at the worst summer camps. Selection of tables, seats. I had said several times that I wanted to sit on the wooden chairs with cushions, a possibility confirmed at the interview. That day we arrived at the facility at 6:15 pm (party at 7:00 pm) and the tables were not yet ready, she had not yet arrived and the chairs were the iron ones. I will leave aside the fact that I was the one who moved the chairs and set the tables for the guests when in reality everything should have been ready when we arrived. I will conclude by saying that only after reading your response to my father's review did I decide to write to correct the nonsense that was said. So at this point I don't know who is more "intellectually honest" (quote from you). Draw your own conclusions.

16/04/2025: I was here on a Saturday and we were a group of 7 people. Initially 5 but the staff was able to manage this increase in diners excellently by recommending (by telephone) better time slots. With extreme transparency they made us sit at 8.30pm, immediately warning us of the need to vacate the table by 10.15pm for the next reservation. The dinner went smoothly without and in a natural way (without the turbocharged dishes being served to us, so to speak) and we cleared the table within the indicated time. Another ultra positive mention for the staff: I am lactose intolerant (I was actually in the wrong place) but they always took care to let me know what I could eat and what not (for one appetizer they even served a sauce that usually already seasoned the dish in a separate bowl). These are the details that remain imprinted in a historical period in which one is attacked every 5 steps by a gourmet or a contemporary. Congratulations guys!
