Sat with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and even managed to catch the sunset from my table, which made for a fantastic setting.
As the evening went on, service started to pick up. A lot of the surrounding tables were having the tasting menu; something I’ll definitely come back to try. There was a slight delay with one drink as the larger tables understandably needed more attention, and I did have to remind the staff for another glass of wine, but it wasn’t too much of an issue.
I started with the salted cod pasta, which was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. I would come back for this dish alone. The flavours were beautifully balanced; creamy pasta that complemented the saltiness of the cod perfectly.
Initially, I assumed I had to stick to the two-course option, but the staff kindly explained I could have just one dish. After such a strong first course, though, I couldn’t resist trying something else. I opted for the beef as my second course: an excellent quality cut, cooked beautifully and kept light by the sautéed vegetables.
The wine selection was also fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed two glasses of the Puglian Morchella.

An excellent experience from start to finish. The pasta and fish dishes were incredibly flavorful and delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The hazelnut ice cream and coffee were also amazing. Even the bread was spectacular—a detail that doesn't go unnoticed. Furthermore, the service was attentive and professional throughout the entire meal.
Honestly, we don't understand the negative reviews this place has. Our experience was very positive, and we felt it was a restaurant that fully lived up to its Michelin Guide accolade. We would definitely return.

I called the day before to book two tasting menus, asking if they could be adapted for vegetarians, and the staff was extremely helpful. The food was simply exquisite!
I particularly enjoyed the "Inizio in punta di dita" crostini: every bite was a journey of flavors; I could distinctly taste notes of pepper and, probably, a hint of lemon. The second course, created especially for us vegetarians, was a true explosion of flavors: a bed of endive with vegetable, fruit, and chickpea reductions, incredibly balanced and flavorful. The frisella with goat's ricotta, figs, and basil was out of this world: the basil provided a freshness that enhanced every bite.
The location is wonderful: in Piazza Gelso in Polignano, with a terrace overlooking the fjords, perfect for enjoying both the food and the view. The waiters were fantastic: they guided us through the pairings, carefully explained each dish, and even other staff members let us peek into the open kitchen.
An unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for the perfect combination of creative cuisine, hospitality, and breathtaking views.

Meraviglioso was as the name states - absolutely marvellous. The staff, the atmosphere and the food was nothing less but excellent. Our big gratitude to the Chef Andrea, for such a generous and exquisite dinner ! Make sure to book in advance, especially if you are a big group. We were lucky to book a table on the same night, but it was our lucky day!

The chef's 6-course menu is excellent. We ordered the matching white wine from Puglia. The service is efficient and friendly. The restaurant's location by the sea and the square provides a beautiful view.

The three of us were greeted by a waiter, who was quick to explain the restaurant ordering rules:
Rule No 1: if we chose from the a-la-carte menu, it would’ve had to be a mandatory two dishes per person.
Rule No 2: if we decided to go for the set menu, at least two guests would have had to pick the same one.
The menu looked impressive. After ordering, the service was impeccable and the waiting staff was very attentive to ensure we always had water and bread on the table.
The appetisers, on the house, were delicious. The starter was also really tasty, especially the cheese mousse.
The main, Gigli pasta with Crab and Octopus, had something acidic in it, which left my stomach a little upset for the whole day.
Not sure what to make of it, but reading a lot of reviews about food poisoning, it got
me thinking…
