05/04/2025: Cozy room, bathroom equipped with a changing table for those who have small children and are spending the day away from home (which is not to be taken for granted). Courteous staff, fast and precise service. I have been there several times and I will return again because it has never disappointed me so far. If you want to be on the safe side with original and delicious dishes, Romana Bistrot is for you. Rich menu also for those suffering from intolerances and allergies. If I can afford to give some advice, I would only widen the choice of desserts for the intolerant, as the only dessert is the tiramisu which I honestly didn't like. For the rest I recommend it.

12/03/2025: I was invited just last night and, honestly, I was a little skeptical! Instead, the experience turned out to be truly interesting and satisfying, in a well-kept environment! The dishes offered were balanced and tasty with high quality raw materials! Nothing to complain about the Chef's proposals! Note of merit also to the order clerk, polite and kind! I will definitely return

20/02/2025: Very well looked after place very close to the center of Bari. Room staff very kind and attentive to customers. Well prepared dishes and quality products. The freshness of the fish is irrefutable. Excellent wines and generally low prices. I recommend both fish and meat and for a starter a fantastic perfectly cooked focaccia... Since the pizzas are also selling like hotcakes! Congratulations to the kitchen and see you soon.

16/02/2025: It is the fourth time I return, because the products are all of excellent quality, the service is good. The staff very competent and professional. This time, as a first course, I chose paccheri, prawns, stracciatella and pistachio grains, I was thrilled.

12/03/2025: Small but welcoming place, characterized by competitive prices (despite some increases over the years but this is unfortunately normal) but maintaining excellent quality. The service is attentive and quick. The only flaw is the impossibility of booking on Saturday evening: I advise you to try it more calmly during the week because it is always full!

02/04/2025: I can’t say I was completely satisfied. Ms. Silvia was very friendly and, despite not knowing English, she really tried to assist us. From what we saw, she was running the entire place by herself—serving, cooking, and handling everything! As for the food, it was average. However, what really disappointed us was that they didn’t accept card payments. We didn’t have enough cash with us, so we had to make a bank transfer, which cost us an extra €6.50 since it was from a Greek to an Italian bank. 😥 It would have been much appreciated if we had been informed from the beginning that card payments were not accepted. We hope that by the time we visit again, things will have improved for the better!

Nicola followed us step by step in all our dish requests and, I say this sincerely, coming from Milan, I wish there was an Osteria Piga here! When we return here we will return with our eyes closed ❤️
