21/09/2025: In addition to the classic grilled meat, excellently cut and finished, which even the children loved, we also enjoyed the excellent mutton stewed in a traditional terracotta dish. It was fragrant and spicy just right, so tender it was perfect for eating with your hands. The house Primitivo was excellent. The staff was helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.
07/09/2025: Butcher/deli in the heart of the historic center. Small but cozy. Top-notch quality. The pecorino in pignata is fabulous! Very kind and friendly staff. Great price. Excellent!

15/08/2025: I ordered focaccia and rustica to go for a beach lunch. There wasn't a huge selection, but everything was very good and not greasy. Recommended.

06/11/2025: Pizza, sandwiches, and fried food are all top-notch. The atmosphere is casual, but the cuisine is meticulously prepared. Panzerotti are available only in the evening. The sandwich with raw shrimp and fried bacon is delicious. Try it and then return. You can eat at the available tables, without service. Right on the seafront.

01/11/2025: I had lunch at this bistro and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. You're transported to an authentic Roman world, despite being in Altamura: the atmosphere, dishes, and details are perfectly reminiscent of Rome.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the place is truly beautiful and well-kept.
I recommend it!
13/10/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday. The food was excellent, especially the pasta dishes and the pinsa. The service is very fast and the waiters are always very helpful. They also have a wide selection of wines to choose from, although you can also opt for a beer, as we did. I will definitely be back.

12/10/2025: Mediocre cuisine. We noticed that if you choose the €35 fixed menu, everything is very limited in terms of dishes. Plus, there were 10 appetizer courses on the menu, but we only received 7. The first courses were very poor, with only a small amount of pasta.... Second courses were mediocre, and apart from the fruit and dessert, they choose both the desserts they bring you and the fruit with a small skewer with 3 small pieces of fruit..... in short, the €35 menu is not worth what they give you...

05/10/2025: My experience was not good. I haven’t completed my risotto because it smelled strange and It wasn’t very tasty, at least not to my taste. And I was not even asked why. Services was good, just a not property washed glass for a wine. Probably I was expecting something wow from the restaurant in Italy mentioned in Michlene guide.
04/10/2025: Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Jamanté. This is a true fine dining experience. The service is impeccably formal and attentive, yet warm and friendly. We felt very well taken care of. The food provided creative twists on traditional tastes. And the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, while also soothing and comfortable. We especially loved the table! The only unfortunate thing is that despite being so near such a beautiful town and surroundings, the location doesn't allow for views. I guess the nice trade-off is that the place is a little quieter, more secluded, and less crowded than it would be if it was closer to the action of the center of town. It was actually kind of nice to step away from the livelier side of things!

03/11/2025: We ate arepas with egg, a delicacy in southern Italy where it's hard to find anything other than pasta and bread.
It reminded us of home and gave us the energy to continue exploring the country.

Improvable: Music too loud (many have said this), even in the afternoon.
Small beers? Too many mosquitoes outside (perimeter screen?).
28/07/2025: I hadn't been back to this place since it became Tana Live. I liked the atmosphere and the staff too. The sandwich was definitely big! It was good, but I couldn't eat it properly. Maybe I'll go back to listen to some music 😊

30/11/2025: Unfortunately, they'd lost our order, something they confirmed firsthand several times. And since I'm pregnant, waiting over an hour between the appetizer and the main course was too much! I was really hungry! They apologized, but I expected them to make amends with a small discount, but nothing...
The dishes were good, but not up to the bill. I won't be returning.
29/11/2025: Oh my, what a place!
I've been here several times over the years, but since this summer I've been back three or four more times, both with family and friends. I've noticed the dishes have been updated compared to previous years, flavorful and beautifully presented for a "locanda." The Giovannino is worthy of praise, the octopus meatballs "furi di testa," the meat ragu with brasciola was never so good (and I'm from Bari). Friends and family were very satisfied, and the coconut dessert was also excellent. You can sense the love in the preparation. The wait staff was also very kind and helpful, and the wine selection was good. It's a sure thing now. See you next time!

18/11/2025: Exceptional local experience! No fuss but excellent home made food , very tasty, good price and very good cocktails ! We highly recommend. This place doesnt look much and you think is a shop but the food and drinks experiencr is awnsome!
