A lot of attention from the personnel, the food was great, the Prosecco was good. We took some spaghetty and pasta with seafood, love it

20/10/2025: A beautiful place with many small rooms and a wealth of medieval history. The building features exposed stone vaults, very simple, clean, and welcoming. The food was excellent; I loved the risotto with beetroot cream, stracciatella, and pistachios for starters. I would have preferred outdoor entertainment for the kids, given the size of the gardens. But otherwise, nothing to complain about. The waitress with long hair and the waiter were also excellent, very kind. Worth a try.

21/09/2025: We had the privilege of celebrating our wedding at Barsentum, and we truly couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we drove through the gates and up the impressive driveway, we knew it was the perfect setting for our Apulian wedding vision. Marika and the team were a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, making all the logistics feel seamless. The food and wine were absolutely outstanding and received endless compliments from our guests. We were especially impressed by how the chef and kitchen team maintained such an exceptional standard while catering for over 100 people—a huge credit to them. The service on the day was impeccable, and Michael, in particular, was wonderfully helpful and attentive throughout the entire journey.

24/10/2025: A restaurant with an indoor dining area, outdoor seating, and a small private parking lot, perfect for a dinner with friends or a family event. I went there for dinner and had a great time. There are plenty of options for all tastes; the sgagliozze, bruschetta, and pistachio meatballs are really good! Gluten-free pizzas are also available. Quick table service and absolutely fair prices.

03/12/2025: We have stayed twice at this place, it’s absolutely perfect, there’s no way a two stars!! Beautiful views, quiet, lovely staff, great comfortable rooms with nice bathrobes, big pool, loads of space for doggy walks if you have one, great breakfast! But most of all, the restaurant, we are absolutely stunned by their food, kudos to the chef for his or hers traditional but innovating dishes who are all special and an explosion of different tastes! This place is a gem!

12/10/2025: Pizzeria very close to the Port of Molfetta. Truly a fantastic location (I'm referring to the "inside" structure). Pizzas with highly hydrated, well-leavened dough. You eat it and you don't really taste it. I suggest the pizza chef increase the "toppings" a bit. Otherwise, excellent appetizers, first courses, fried foods, and desserts. Worth 100%. Top.

17/09/2025: On the discreetly secluded terrace on the Corso in the old town, we encountered a very committed, young service team who were friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable and helped us enjoy a lovely evening. As it is both a restaurant and a pizzeria, we had starters (pasta in Primitivo sauce and orichette with mushrooms and sausage meat) and main courses (tuna tataki and pizza mortate with eggplant and mortadella), as well as white and red wine, and were sent off with the Semifreddo Pistacchio and the Brown Bacchio. The restaurant was almost empty at 7:30 p.m., and by 8:00 p.m., 120 mostly local guests were sitting at around 40 tables. Everything was lively, the atmosphere was like that of the evening, and the service and kitchen team were asked to do their very best. It was a very good meal, a lovely evening, and a great memory. Thanks to all the staff at Fermento Vivo.

14/10/2025: Playa del Sol never disappoints... anyone craving both raw and cooked seafood will find their perfect spot here. Sunday lunch: raw appetizers (baby octopus, cuttlefish, cuttlefish tagliatelle, shrimp, scampi, and various shellfish) and cooked appetizers (seafood salads, shrimp with cheese flakes and arugula), as well as swordfish, salmon, and tuna carpaccio; 1 first course per person, including seafood tagliolini, paccheri with clams and scorpionfish, and spaghetti with clams; 1 bottle of rosé wine from an excellent cellar; and 1 lemon sorbet to finish. TOTAL €40 per person! A spectacular location (basically a sea-level terrace) with a very welcoming atmosphere and attentive, helpful service. The only flaw in the service, if I really had to find one, is the lack of foresight to serve the women first.

11/10/2025: Everything was exceptional, the fish was incredibly fresh and the service was impeccable. The gentleman who looked after us was incredibly kind and friendly. We'll be back!

09/10/2025: This family-run B&B was the final highlight of our trip to Puglia. Starting with the welcome, we truly felt at home! Extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and full of local products. The room we were assigned was bright and spacious. The location is excellent, surrounded by greenery and just a 10-minute drive from the center of Alberobello. Highly recommended! We hope to return again 😊

09/08/2025: We arrived at the restaurant at 2 p.m. The waiter let us sit down and then came to bring us the menus, specifying that they were no longer serving pizza. We chose our dishes, but when it came time to order, he announced that we could only order two different dishes for three people, forcing us to agree. After about 40 minutes of waiting, the dishes arrived... and surprise: the pasta was identical in both dishes, even though the menu listed two different types of pasta. Furthermore, I had ordered tomato, tuna, and burrata pasta, but there was only a spoonful of stracciatella. The taste was still good, but I would have appreciated the waiter specifying from the start that several dishes were no longer available, especially given the time of our arrival. This would have avoided disappointment and allowed us to choose more confidently.
