04/04/2026: What a disappointment! At a time when Monopoli isn't crowded, we waited 65 minutes. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have porcini mushrooms, venison salami, and truffle oil. I actually ordered a Margherita pizza with more cooked ham! And then there were the wait times: 30 to 60 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this place.

29/03/2026: Ordered a glass of verdeca and was brought a glass of red wine. Waitress seemed annoyed to be working which is understandable but your customers should not receive poor service. There are much better places to eat in Monopoli.

02/04/2026: Ordering from this place is terrifying. To find out what the status of your order is, you have to hope for a miracle. They never answer! Delivery is scheduled for 9:40 PM. They answer at 11 PM! Two pizzas arrive, which I decide to send back, also because I had placed a second order at a much more reputable pizzeria that delivered 8 minutes after I ordered. They're not reputable and don't know how to take responsibility.

28/03/2026: Poor service! What's the point of having a home delivery service that you don't deliver? You take the money through Just Eat and disappear. You're unreachable. I had to wait a week for a refund. Never again.

05/03/2026: Incredible location, average seafood, and prices, as is often the case in the area, a bit too high. The service could be improved, but it's average. Lunch/dinner by the sea always has its charm.

15/03/2026: Always the best in the area. Friendly, highly professional staff, the owner and his wife are wonderful people. But above all, they always pay attention to their customers. Quality meat with premium cuts. Wide selection on the menu, a nice wine list. I recommend it to everyone.

21/02/2026: We were greeted with warmth and kindness by a husband and wife team who do their job with such passion. We ordered the bombette, and in addition to those, we tried the taralli, the salamella, and the patate alla cenere… everything was delicious, including the house red wine! I highly recommend it if you're passing through, but it's also worth a short detour! Good prices 👍🏻 Thanks

14/03/2026: Excellent quality and courtesy A fantastic experience at Osteria Cardoncello. The food is incredibly fresh and of the highest quality, prepared with evident care. The value for money is unbeatable: you eat divinely at a very reasonable price. To top it all off, the staff is always kind and courteous.

10/02/2026: If you want to EAT WELL without further ado, this is the place. A classic trattoria with simple, modest, humble, family-run seafood dishes...but with mind-blowing cuisine. We ate on Sunday for lunch...a selection of seafood appetizers, all homemade hot dishes, exceptional seafood first courses, and seafood second courses. These, too, were exceptional. Excellent fish. Small, tender octopus. We left without even a single complaint. Only compliments. I don't have any photos because we were too busy trying the food (really). Truly a great experience. Excellent cuisine. Well done, guys. Thank you.

08/02/2026: Nightmare evening, poor quality food. Terrible service. We arrived at 9 PM and the food arrived cold at 11:30 PM. The pizza was undercooked, the meat was tough and cold. The only redeeming feature was the pre-cooked French fries. The salad wasn't good either. The staff was friendly but disorganized.

08/12/2025: I spent an evening with friends a few days ago. What more can I say? The food was delicious and excellent, from appetizers to dessert. All the credit goes to the blond guy, Vincenzo, who recommended some excellent dishes. I thank him for this fantastic culinary experience he gave us! 👏👏

07/01/2026: This happened on the night of the New Year's Eve dinner. This isn't a review of the food, but of the owner's behavior, so I'd be interested to hear your opinion on the facts. My wife and I arrived early at the restaurant and immediately informed them that, for health reasons, my wife would only have one plate of plain rice with oil and lemon for the entire evening. Unfortunately, we had to leave at 11:30 PM. I'd only had time for dessert, so no cotechino and lentils, and no midnight toast. We went to pay, and the bill was €110 (the price of the dinner) for me and €80 for my wife. "I think €80 for plain rice is a bit expensive," and the response was, "Let's make it €70." So I paid €180. We said our goodbyes, and I expected at least a bottle of sparkling wine for the midnight toast, but nothing. Was the price we paid fair given the situation that had arisen?

16/01/2026: Excellent experience. The ginseng coffee was perfectly extracted, with no burnt taste and just the right amount of crema. I paired it with a flawless tetta di monache: soft and fluffy pastry with a perfectly sweet custard. I couldn't resist a sfogliatella, crispy and with an exquisite filling. Everything was delicious. I also want to highlight the staff's service, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended! ☕🍰
