Let's start by saying that Mrs. Annarita was kind enough to keep the kitchen open after hours just for us (a table of four arriving from Rome). We were greeted by the staff with kindness and helpfulness, even though they were resting. The chef prepared appetizers, including both raw and cooked dishes, all very fresh and expertly prepared. The flavors were absolutely authentic: the rice, potato, and mussel tiella and the seafood spaghetti were particularly noteworthy. A must-visit for anyone near Bari/Giovinazzo.

We had the Scialatielli allo scoglio. Absolutely delicious, highly recommended. Very friendly service, a lovely restaurant, and the price was more than reasonable.

We visited this trattoria, which seats about 70, and were truly thrilled. The welcome is excellent; they make you feel at home right away, but the real ace in the hole is the chef, who is truly talented and creative. He offered us a series of fish dishes, each more interesting than the last. We started with a very original marinated salmon and meager octopus, then moved on to a spectacular cod with squid ink and some truly delicious anchovies with vegetables. Next, we had a truly delicious scialatiello allo scoglio (seafood scialatiello), and for our main course, a seafood saccoccio, a kind of parcel packed with flavor. To round things off, a dessert of pear and sheep's milk ricotta. If you're passing through Giovinazzo, this place is a must-see. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
