There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived, it turned out that we could only sit outside, on the sidewalk, because the tables inside were reserved. During our dinner it turned out that this was not true, because some of the customers, Italians, who came *off the street* without reservations, were directed to the restaurant. In addition to the ordered starters, we received dry bread, without the standard olive oil and spices. There was no plate for the shells for the main course with seafood. The service did not speak English. When choosing the restaurant, we were guided by the Google reviews. Unfortunately, the negative reviews regarding the service for tourists were confirmed.

08/06/2025: Excellent cuisine. Restaurant located near the seafront. Tasty original dishes. Very friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. If the daily special is lobster spaghetti, don't hesitate, it's a real delight. Not to be missed if you're in Bari.

29/06/2025: Pizzeria restaurant a stone's throw from the Church of San Giuseppe, Rione Madonnella. Basic appetizer: a little tagliatelle, an oyster per person, two-three mussels, a scampi. All very fresh. First taste, of paccheri stracciatella and walnuts. Second course of seafood rice with mussels, clams (lupins) and cuttlefish. Excellent. For the second course you could choose between fried fish and sliced ​​beef. I had the second and I must say it was excellent. A slice of watermelon, hot bagnamusso with cream, coffee or amaro. Drinks included. At the cash register, for 6 people like us, Ivan...the owner, gave me a receipt for 180 euros. Since we had paid 35 per person on other occasions, I said he was making a mistake. I am an honest person. But Ivan is also honest when he told me that 30 per person is for a Sunday like any other. If it had been someone else he would have pretended to be wrong and pocketed 35 per person. Honest traders exist: Ivan is one of them

25/06/2025: Coming back from the beach we stopped for lunch. A pleasant place, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. That's how we like it best, among the locals :). Appetizer plus main course. Great vino bianco della casa, good food at fair prices. Friendly service. We recommend!

27/05/2025: The place is not very well maintained, the bathroom is a real mess. We ordered takeaway because we were in a hurry to get back to the motel. They mixed up our orders, instead of a sandwich with octopus inside there was a prosciutto roll - a bad discovery for someone who doesn't eat meat. Fortunately, the panzerotto saved the dinner...

07/07/2025: Very disorganized place, unprofessional and unfriendly staff, they force people to sit outside in the summer heat to wait their turn. Shifts not respected and they behave rudely. A woman who was at the cash register, you could only pay with a debit card, this was not reported. Terrible experience.

06/07/2025: Ordered 8 puccia at 10.20pm...the order arrives at 12.15am...they put us on a table, hot water (because on Saturdays it can happen that the water in the fridge runs out)...at 12.30am they start clearing the table while we are sitting and not everyone has finished because it is late and they have to close.... So two hours of waiting on the street to eat an ordinary puccia in just 15 minutes...it was the first time I have been to this "highly recommended" place...it will also be the last
