02/05/2026: The food was excellent, truly top-notch, and the price was certainly not low, but it was consistent with the quality of the service. I'm not giving it full marks and am partially penalizing the service because a lapse in style like the explicit request for a tip when paying by debit card really shocked me. I would kindly ask you to eliminate this terrible habit. If a customer legitimately wants to leave a tip, they will. Asking for it explicitly seemed in extremely bad taste. I'll get back to the food, even if the above ruined part of my evening. The liver scallops, the borage gnocchi, and the Moscato d'Asti zabaglione were excellent.

27/04/2026: A historic trattoria just across the Po River, outside of Turin's city center. The restaurant is elegant, clean, and beautifully decorated. The dishes are mostly traditional Piedmontese and are prepared with high-quality ingredients and with excellent craftsmanship. The mixed antipasto, agnolotti, and bunet were all delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices are proportionate to the quality of the dishes (€18 for the mixed antipasto and €15 for the ravioli).

15/05/2026: A restaurant in the center of Pinerolo. We chose the meat tasting menu for €28. Not bad. Everything was good. Worth the price. Friendly and helpful service.

06/05/2026: We went to Trattoria Carmen for dinner and had a really great time. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, making you feel immediately at ease. We ate typical Turin cuisine, and everything was excellent, living up to expectations, even the house wine was particularly pleasant. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and fast, which we really appreciated. Overall, a super positive experience!

03/06/2026: Good food, but a BAD EXPERIENCE! At the end of the dinner, I paid by card. My banking app clearly showed the transaction, but due to a temporary disconnection from the restaurant's POS, the payment wasn't reflected on their POS, even though the transaction had produced a receipt. The waiter chased me out of the restaurant and brought me back in front of the other customers, with the embarrassing feeling of being treated as someone who hadn't paid. After half an hour, the owner, who had left, returned and let us go, promising a bank transfer for the balance if he could confirm the actual shortfall in his accounts. Only three days later did the owner contact me to confirm that everything was in order. Beyond this incident, I also found other aspects of the service questionable: we were served two portions of bread without having to pay; when we asked for a glass of wine, we weren't offered a choice, but the most expensive one was served directly—we realized this later because it was written on a blackboard; Furthermore, while we were waiting to pay, other customers received a complimentary liqueur from the house, while we received no attention whatsoever, not even after the inconvenience caused by the payment error. Technical errors can happen to anyone. What makes the difference is how they are handled. In this case, I felt a lack of attention towards us (perhaps because we had a discount on the app we had booked with?) and a lack of care in handling a particularly embarrassing situation. I definitely won't be returning.

15/05/2026: Superb dinner at Dai Saletta in Turin! My friends and I chose the tasting menu and left delighted: everything was truly delicious, mouth-watering. The dishes were carefully prepared, flavorful, and plentiful, each one better than the last. You can really taste the quality and passion they put into it. A special thanks also to the staff, who were incredibly kind and helpful: we were so full we couldn't even stomach dessert anymore 🤣, and they prepared dessert for us to take away with truly rare kindness. A wonderful experience, absolutely recommended if you're in Turin.

11/05/2026: Really good sandwiches, worth every penny. High quality. I've eaten there so often, and the staff are friendly. There are tons of ingredients, and creating your own sandwich with the ingredients written all over the wall is really nice. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the music is pleasant, and the seats inside also have power outlets and USB/USBC ports. The only downside... since it's popular... it's always crowded, and at lunchtime, you risk waiting a bit (5, 10 minutes maximum) or, alas, the sandwich I wanted might be sold out. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

07/05/2026: Dinner tonight with my partner and our 6-month-old baby. The atmosphere was very interesting, with a refined trattoria aesthetic, but it felt like we were dining at the family aunt's house, so ⭐. Plus, it wasn't too chaotic, so the baby was fine. The service and waiters were friendly and attentive. We had two tasting menus, two glasses of wine, coffee, and a bitter (especially the herbal one). The dessert was almost scratchy. ⭐.... Beautiful dinner... so super!! We'll be back 🤙🏻⭐

21/02/2026: Plan a morning or afternoon to visit Superga and then Colle della Maddalena, finishing with lunch or dinner at this restaurant in Revigliasco, which has a beautiful view of the spectacular valley. Everything else is the usual: very clean, the staff is friendly and well-trained. The food is excellent, and every dish is carefully prepared.
