09/06/2026: We stopped here on a Barolo wine tour thinking it would be a good Italian trattoria. It went far beyond our expectations. It is Michelin guide recommended and for good reason! The wait staff were extremely accommodating and the food was some of the best we ate in our 2 weeks in Italy, which included restaurants in Rome, Florence and Milan. The seafood was incredibly fresh and the pasta was homemade and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend a visit!

27/05/2026: We were guests at this fantastic restaurant last night. The welcome was warm, and our table on the terrace was ideal for enjoying a warm summer evening. The waiter helped us choose from the menu, taking our preferences into account. The recommended wines were also spot on. An evening never to be forgotten and highly recommended.

24/05/2026: We dined at the restaurant on a Sunday for lunch. The menu was very original, with numerous vegetarian and vegan options, perfect for our guests. The place is charming, rustic yet elegant, surrounded by greenery and sheltered by a shaded roof that provided shelter from the heat. Everything was delicious, with original flavors. What a wonderful discovery!

10/05/2026: Excellent experience, even though we were unfortunately just passing through and only stopped for dinner, which was quite an experience! I was pleased to note the great attention paid to my pregnancy and related dietary restrictions. They explained to me in detail the composition of the dishes and what could be modified/avoided to ensure they were safe for me. Truly touching 🥹 The dishes were delicious and unique, without being overly extravagant. The special pepper reverse, practically a savory tarte tatin, was wonderfully done. The dessert was a modular panna cotta whose composition was left to the diner's taste. I'll leave a photo. The interior is welcoming and well-decorated, the outdoor location is very beautiful and evocative. We will definitely return for a quiet lunch. Thank you and well done!

31/07/2026: Last night we had dinner with a group of friends. The place was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere was welcoming, with a skillfully restored brick ceiling. The owner was friendly and attentive, yet never intrusive. The wait staff was professional and very attentive. The food was superb. The fish and seafood were the absolute stars, beautifully cooked—scallops, octopus, prawns, swordfish—a riot of flavors! The wine pairing was excellent. Will we be back? Of course we will!

01/06/2026: Absolutely recommended – everything was perfect from start to finish! The family who run the house are incredibly kind and welcoming people. The accommodation is impeccably clean and practically brand new; everything looks freshly renovated and stylishly furnished. You sleep comfortably, the bathroom and shower are excellent, and the view of Ormea and the Val Tanaro is breathtaking. Dinner was a particular highlight: a lovely buffet with many delicious dishes and wines, where you can really eat your fill. Add to that a wonderful Italian breakfast and a fantastic price – the best accommodation we've ever had in Italy. A definite five stars! Take the slight detour and drive up here to the mountain – it's absolutely worth it.

05/06/2026: Every time we're in Piedmont, this trattoria is a must-visit, even if it means taking a detour. It couldn't be more authentic: unassuming from the outside and practically exclusively frequented by locals. The food is delicious, served by Nonna herself, simply laid out, and the house wine is excellent. Very authentic, warm, it couldn't be much better – a 5+ for us. Many thanks also for the jam.

The cuisine is generous and varied, prepared with high-quality local ingredients. The facilities are superb: the rooms are tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and offer excellent comfort. And the spa area provides a moment of absolute relaxation! The welcome is exceptional: warm, caring, and incredibly kind, with a single desire: to please and to be available at all times. 15/08/2026: Authentic trattoria with a generous and reasonably priced set menu: five appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, bottled wine, dessert, and coffee for €25 per person for dinner. Top! Highly recommended! Remember to book in advance.

14/08/2026: THOSE WHO KNOW IT AVOID IT! I went there one evening in August with my husband, and we'll never go back! Only one gruff man waited on the tables. We entered, and not even a hello. He rudely directed us to our seats. He began bringing out the appetizers, then a risotto, and a roast with green beans, all in absolute silence, without an explanation of the dishes he was bringing. I felt like I was in a monk's soup kitchen. The place was nice enough, but it was very hot and there wasn't even a fan. After the main course, irritated by the heat and the long waits between courses, we got up and left. The food we ate was nothing special. The still water was hot, like tap water. This place has only one good thing... the bill, but if I just want to save money, I'll stay home!

21/07/2026: Highly recommended! We were passing through and had a delicious meal. We had steak on a griddle, ravioli, and prawns. Portions were more than sufficient and nicely seasoned. The lady who served us was super friendly and spoke English. Excellent value for money.
