03/03/2026: Absolutely positive experience, very convenient and close to the hospital. Welcoming atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff, top-notch lunch, tasty and carefully prepared. A highly recommended, high-quality diner. A true local landmark, I will definitely be back. Five stars well deserved.

21/02/2026: We went for dinner. I only have one comment: WOW!!! The location is S.T.R.E.P.I.T.O.S.A., super original: a contemporary revamp of an old building renovated in wood, brick, and metal. Simple, traditional dishes are paired with a wine list that reads more like an encyclopedia. We ordered the egg in cocote, veal in tuna sauce, gnocchi, and tajarin with porcini mushrooms, and finished with a caramel bonet and a barrique grappa, all washed down with a nice bottle of Dogliani. €90. Honest and pleasant. Very fast service. Bread basket with grissoni, focaccia, and spectacular bread. If you pass through Monforte and don't try it, you'll miss out on a piece of the Langhe.

09/09/2025: Tested in hotel and restaurant: for both: good value for money (small but modern room, clean and well equipped) with a special mention for the cuisine: traditional Piedmontese cuisine deliciously prepared from starter to dessert. Thanks to the owner. This establishment was a very pleasant surprise! Note: the owners are bilingual French.

17/12/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday. It's a lovely trattoria with a large dining room and a slightly smaller one. The wooden beamed ceiling is beautiful. The service was always attentive and courteous, and the hostess was very friendly. We had a truly delicious meal, and the gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese was truly excellent. The wine list is comprehensive and high-quality. There's also the option of wine by the glass or in bulk, which I personally appreciate, regardless of your choice. The prices are below average, especially considering the quality of the food. Coffee and liqueur were also included, although we didn't try them. In conclusion, I don't think you can ask for more, so this trattoria is definitely worth a try.

09/12/2025: Beautiful location, meticulously maintained with a rustic feel. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, especially at the restaurant. The village is very beautiful to visit; the rooms are spread across different buildings, all within a single property. There are, however, some downsides: the rooms are a bit too rustic, and the restaurant, in my opinion, is overpriced, especially for the portions. I had a fairly positive experience with breakfast, with a limited but satisfying selection of both sweet and savory dishes, featuring local specialties.

08/03/2026: The location is beautiful and meticulously maintained. There's a family atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff were even more so! They were truly kind. (There are sleds available for guests, which we had a lot of fun on.)

08/03/2026: A truly fantastic experience. I stayed at Baita Elica with a group of friends. After a pleasant hike, we arrived at the lodge for lunch. The polenta was simply fantastic! Generous portions and very fair prices! The desserts were mouth-watering. The highlight of the day was the owner. He was incredibly kind and helpful. They welcomed us as if we were part of the family. A truly warm welcome that is hard to find elsewhere. We'll definitely be back; it was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

16/01/2026: We dined in winter, so we stayed inside. The place is beautiful, both inside with its exposed brick walls and the spacious outside. Excellent selection of beers and drinks in general, with options for their own products rather than the more common commercial ones. Normal post-Covid prices, but portions, in my opinion, are a bit small (with a burger between €14 and €21, I expect fries on the side, which are instead ordered separately for €5.50).

20/11/2025: Eating at this restaurant is a truly unique experience. The place itself is unusual, and the owner even more so. The concept: - No menu; the menu is presented verbally, and you choose between three primis and secondis. For the antipasti, you'll have several dishes laid out on the table in a relaxed, informal style. * A nice touch is the middle course with a spoonful of gorgonzola! - Prices range from 50 to 60 euros per person, including wine. Please note: cash only! Everything was delicious, and Luciano's wonderful atmosphere was a real highlight! A must-visit, but book well in advance.

04/01/2026: In the winter, the Baita delle Stelle can be reached by single-seater chairlift in about twenty minutes. Dress warmly, as it can get chilly on the chairlift, which is open. The view is breathtaking. The staff, even though the place was quite crowded, were quick to serve us and always super friendly. Local food, including an excellent cold cuts and cheese platter.

14/02/2026: Lunch and coffee breaks while skiing on a weekday in February. Quite crowded, but stopping for lunch around 2 pm we found a sunny spot outside. The food and desserts were delicious, typical home-style mountain fare. There's no table service; you order at the cashier and collect it at the counter. Beautiful location at the top of the hill.

12/01/2026: It's hard to find another place where you can eat so well, from appetizer to dessert. And I'm not talking about the Cuneo area, but in Italy in general. Congratulations, truly!

04/01/2026: We had an impeccable lunch at Trattoria Roma, an absolute must-try in the heart of Cuneo. After a stroll around the city, we stopped here, and it was a perfect choice. The meal starts off well with excellent bread and breadsticks, a sign of attention to even the simplest details. The vitello tonnato is one of the best we've tasted: incredibly tender meat, a balanced, creamy yet unobtrusive sauce. The hot dish is also excellent, comforting and carefully prepared, a perfect example of Piedmontese cuisine done properly, without frills but with great technique and respect for tradition. The service is friendly, professional, and never rushed, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the atmosphere is authentic, like that of a true trattoria—something that's becoming increasingly rare these days. The food here is truly excellent, with quality ingredients and generous portions, leaving you satisfied and smiling. A place to keep in mind and recommend without hesitation to anyone passing through Cuneo. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

01/01/2026: We had dinner this evening with tagliata with mushrooms and Valdostana cheese with fries. The portions were generous and truly delicious. Given the kindness and helpfulness of the staff and the reasonable price, we'll definitely be back.

30/12/2025: Delicious pizzas and more, my daughter and I go there often. They also have a small children's area, which is always a plus, and are also suitable for special occasions and birthday parties.
