Very beautiful location yet quite natural, the educational trail in the woods is also nice for those who love skiing, there is a nice slope for children too. The refuge is beautiful.

Beautiful panoramic place, I went there on 03/05/2024, there was a lot of snow and a road as clean as in summer, beautiful in the mountains and ugly on the plains.

Visited, by scooter, on Sunday in August, therefore overcrowded. We still managed to eat something like "street food". It is worth visiting the woods up to the small waterfall. I'll get back on the bike as soon as the weather allows.

"Rifugio" (ristorante, in realtà) a 1500 m. di altitudine, raggiungibile comodamente in auto (aspetto comodissimo per famiglie con bambini o persone che non possono camminare molto, negativo per chi ama la montagna silenziosa, naturale, adatta ai camminatori).
Panorama splendido, bella terrazza all'esterno con possibilità di mangiare fuori con il bel tempo, locale curato e piacevole all'interno.
Personale giovane e cortese, servizio mediamente rapido, compatibilmente con il numero di clienti presenti.
Possibilità di menu fissi con due prezzi diversi (ed onesti), oppure menu alla carta.
In generale piatti ben fatti, ma la "polenta concia" era in realtà della polenta solida, tagliata a pezzi, cosparsa di formaggio fuso.

Un comodo sterrato sale per prati di 500 metri e porta ad un affaccio sul Monviso veramente fantastico. Esiste pure la seggiovia, ma toglie un po' di soddisfazione alla conquista.
