23/06/2025: One of those places that you find by chance but that remain in your heart. The location is beautiful, you eat among the frescoed vaults of a castle or outside in the garden. The food, in Piedmont, can only be excellent, especially in those parts but the real wealth of the place is the very warm management, which makes you feel immediately at ease: a young couple (he who works in the kitchen and she in the dining room), you feel a bit like a guest in their home. They offer a very rich tasting menu, which varies according to the season and the availability of fresh local products and which accompanies you from the appetizer to the coffee. Despite the large quantity of courses, the service is always fast and efficient and does not bore us.

04/07/2025: Business lunch for 4, excellent food and quality of service. We were pampered. I remembered their signature dish "brown stock rice" from a dinner a few years ago, when I didn't see it on the menu they explained to me that it is only made by reservation. Understanding my slight disappointment because I would have liked to taste that fantastic dish again, they brought me a free sample of the risotto on the menu, top that too. I don't often write reviews but the kindness shown requires me to share the experience with others. A place to try.

09/06/2025: Had lunch here. Ordered the cod with smoked potatoes and it was 🤌🏼. One of the better things I’ve eaten in this region to be honest. The courtyard setting on a sunny day is perfection.

09/05/2025: Excellent venue. Composed environment, measured service, excellent food. If I had to give a constructive criticism I would say that the homemade bread (as well as the breadsticks and focaccia) could be improved and have a more open structure.

26/06/2025: A real surprise! A wonderful location, with a green and well-kept garden that makes the atmosphere truly special. We went for the Thursday aperitif and I recommend it to everyone: excellent cocktails, tasty proposals and a relaxed but well-kept environment. The quality of the raw materials is very high, and you can taste it in every dish. All at more than honest prices, which is rare nowadays! A place where I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

03/08/2025: This place is really well furnished and all rustic and ancient, the staff are very kind and fast, I was there today and a friend of mine had recommended it to me and she was right, the food is excellent, fabulous meat that melts in your mouth, delicious vegetables, very good desserts, from the panna cotta with basil, fabulous

31/07/2025: Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever seen, with an old-world atmosphere and a warm and welcoming setting. Wonderful, with attention to every detail. The food is excellent quality, primarily meat from the restaurant's own farm, but also plenty of vegetables from the restaurant's own garden. Authentic food, literally 0 km (0 miles). The raw beef was fabulous, the best I've ever eaten. Five courses of truly expertly cooked meat. A side note, which is absolutely not a criticism but simply a piece of information, is that the service is slow. Slow in a good way, I'd like to emphasize. Every dish is cooked freshly, and that's normal. In my opinion, this further highlights the authenticity of the place. When you come to eat here, you should take your time, enjoy the experience without rushing.

30/07/2025: On our way back from the "Sentiero del Lupo" (Wolf Trail) in Montelupo Albese, we stopped for lunch. It was a great experience! The tasting menu is definitely worth trying.

After a few words with the restaurant owner about the food, Mrs. Nadia pointed out the photo on the wall of "Batista," the man who ran the restaurant 57 years ago. Batista never dreamed he'd end up on this page. Who knows? When he's resurrected, he might recognize himself in this photo and reflect. Noi abbiamo mangiato la pizza: impasto buonissimo e morbido, farcitura di qualità, birra 🍺 ambrata molto buona; hanno anche menu ristorante con molti piatti interessanti... insomma molto molto soddisfatti! 28/07/2025: A classic trattoria from days gone by. Simple (and thankfully so...) and authentic food. Excellent atmosphere for a refreshing break (I enjoyed the cool shade even on a very hot day). Prices are staggering. But I'm writing this post primarily to thank the entire staff for their hospitality, kindness, professionalism, and speed. Especially the owner and her young daughter, Michelle, with whom I interacted the most. I'll be back...

07/07/2025: Excellent traditional Piedmontese food accompanied by an exhaustive explanation and a warm welcome from the staff and an excellent cellar of Piedmontese wines, we chose a sparkling wine from Alta Langa! The interior is beautiful with wooden coverings and tables and chairs from a typical old inn, the outdoor garden is also convenient for hot summer days.
