21/07/2026: We visited the swimming pool in the summer. It was very nice. It was hardly busy, however, and the entrance fee of 50 euros for a family was quite steep. Nevertheless, we visited the pool twice.
21/06/2026: A beautiful place 😊 we went for lunch in June at the restaurant (there is also a bar service with salads, sandwiches, etc., and a swimming pool in the summer), in the shade of huge trees that offer the opportunity to enjoy a bit of fresh air and relaxation 😎! Reservations recommended

12/07/2026: We went for dinner one evening and had a great time! A wonderful, beautiful place! Well-kept with a beautiful lawn.
The welcome was excellent.
Mr. Gianfranco was very friendly and a great wine connoisseur; he was able to recommend an excellent Alta Lunga!
The food was very good, plentiful, and tasty.
I recommend it for the warm welcome they give to their customers and the excellent value for money.

We've eaten at this restaurant twice now, and in addition to the attention to detail inside and out, the food is exceptional. You don't choose what to eat, they choose... but trust me, you'll always have plenty of seasonal vegetables and quality meat. Finish with desserts that are always unique and delicious.
Service: remember, you're in the Maira Valley, a rugged, rugged, and difficult land, yet wonderfully surprising... and you'll also find this in the souls and personalities of its inhabitants.

13/06/2026: Beautiful place nestled in the hills, a bit remote, but a refuge nonetheless.
We had the €50 fixed menu, and everything was truly delicious. The meat was super tender, cooked and seasoned to perfection. The appetizers were delicious (I was amazed by the beef sausage). The wine was quality (you can drink as much as you like). Dessert and limoncello were included, and they were also delicious.
06/06/2026: We visited this restaurant and ate truly exceptional meat, cooked to perfection and rich in flavor. The atmosphere was delightful: a welcoming environment, ideal for enjoying a relaxing dinner. The quality-price ratio was also excellent, making the experience even more satisfying.
A place definitely worth trying.
It's a bit isolated, but the drive is worth it. Next time, I'll stay in a bungalow. 😍

04/05/2026: We ate at the restaurant the evening of April 2. I have to say that this is the perfect place to stay. History, elegance. great museum time pieces but sadly the food was lacking. We were so disappointed. The meat was dry although the taste was there. The wine we chose was two times the price of the wine we had chosen the night before (same wine and year). We were so disappointed that we chose not to have a dessert. The lack of sauce, visual enhancement and staging of the food was disappointing. The hotel itself is breathtakingly inspiring and frankly I would stay here and probably will in the future but I will not eat in the restaurant.
12/04/2026: What a joy to have discovered this magnificent castle! The beauty of the site and its surroundings, the quality of the rooms and restaurant, as well as the spa and wellness center, and the kindness and professionalism of the staff, always there to meet your needs and make your stay as comfortable as being at home.
And the icing on the cake: a private guided tour by the Director to discover the history of this castle, a listed cultural heritage site in Italy.
I loved it!!!!

14/04/2026: Fantastic experience at La Meiro! The Castelmagno gnocchi are the best I've ever had, truly superb. I also highly recommend purchasing a piece of blue cheese, made with authentic mountain milk. A true local delicacy.

03/07/2026: I read about the experience of a family who stayed at this establishment on August 15th, praising the food and hospitality, but they took the liberty of pointing out that the restroom was a bit messy. My God, Mr. Andrea was so offended that he hopes he never sees them there again!!! Go figure, people! I went there yesterday, not three years ago, and nothing has changed. 💪💪
