29/03/2025: We spent a weekend with friends and our dog, we had a great time in a place where peace and nature are good for the soul. The owners are very kind, helpful and the home cooking is really good. We will be back.

02/03/2025: We have been to this refuge several times and we had a great time. Welcoming family-run place. Excellent vegetarian dishes at fair prices. The refuge can be reached on foot with comfortable paths through the woods for 30 minutes or 1 hour. From Becetto, however, it is more challenging. It can also be reached by bike via a well-beaten dirt road. Recommended for spending a quiet Sunday or returning from more challenging excursions. I did not sleep so I do not know what the rooms are like.

15/03/2025: Strategic place for excursions and ski mountaineering in the middle of the valley, in a beautiful balcony with the looming sky. Large and spacious rooms in a beautiful village, abundant breakfasts and excellent dinners... for those who love tranquility it is the right place. Very kind managers.

16/02/2025: Piacevole scoperta. Ispirati dal nome del locale abbiamo deciso di provarlo chiamando appena 10 min prima del nostro arrivo per farci riservare un tavolo. La ragazza è stata subito disponibile e gentile. Siamo stati accolti in un piccolo, ma accoglientissimo locale a cui si accede salendo una piccola scala di un portone sotto i portici della via principale. Le volte in mattone e lo stile rustico chic mi ha subito colpita. Appena seduti siamo stati subito calcolati (cosa non scontata) e ci hanno proposto i piatti del giorno facendoci scegliere tra 5 antipasti, 2 primi, 2 secondi, 5 dolci. Io e il mio compagno abbiamo deciso di prendere esattamente gli stessi piatti perché abbiamo gusti pressoché simili e siamo rimasti ampiamente soddisfatti sia per qualità del servizio, sia per qualità del cibo, sia per il conto onesto che pensavamo fosse più alto. Se capitate da queste parti fermatevi e non ve ne pentirete.

30/12/2024: Oggi pranzo in un ambiente molto accogliente. Caminetto acceso e addobbi natalizi che creano una atmosfera particolarmente affascinante. Menù ricco con pietanze molto gustose. Ottimi antipasti . Da provare poi Le Ravioles della Val Varaita (piatto tipico) ed il Guanciale...eccezzionale...si sciogli in bocca !!! Il bunet fatto dalla signora è favoloso. Prezzo adeguato ai piatti ! Ottima possibilità di parcheggio di fronte alla struttura. Tornato due giorni fa con amici. Confermo nuovamente giudizio precedente. Oggi provato anche i ravioli....molto molto buoni. Come secondo la signora mi ha fatto provare il " tenerone " ; anche questa carne oltre ad essere molto gustosa si scioglie in bocca....da provare . 30/12/2024: We had dinner on Saturday 28th December. We were welcomed into a warm, familiar and very attentive environment both in terms of cleanliness and the Christmas atmosphere. Delicious, quality food. Attentive and friendly service. The tanning polenta is excellent. The owner is a kind, helpful and down-to-earth lady. The price is absolutely adequate.

22/03/2025: Had dinner at this historic pizzeria. Large and well-lit place, many tables and a room on the lower floor. I ordered a buffalo mozzarella pizza and a non-alcoholic beer. Averagely fast service, attentive and kind staff. In my opinion the pizza was decent, a little dry but still good quality. There is the possibility of eating gluten-free pizzas with an extra charge of €2. Free parking spaces near the place.

18/03/2025: Splendid place where, if you want to enjoy a glass of wine, not only can you choose from a multitude of labels but you will be guided with competence and courtesy in your choice. The cuisine is truly excellent, whatever course you choose. A special mention for the hazelnut cake: amazing. For an appetizer, a first course, dessert and glass of wine, consider around €35-40/person. Visited on 14th March for dinner.

07/03/2025: Sono stata in questo locale per una cena tra amici e devo ammettere che è stata una vera scoperta. Cucina piemontese ma rivisitata e sicuramente con un tocco in più che fa la differenza rispetto a molti altri ristoranti. Ottime materie prime e piatti molto curati. Staff giovane con una marcia in più. Consigliatissimo

02/03/2025: È proprio vero che l' apparenza inganna. Siamo andati per le recensioni positive dell' osteria. Dall' esterno non vi viene voglia di entrare... internamente si presenta più come un bar, l' arredamento è datato... insomma i dubbi che si mangi bene ci sono. Ma poi c'è il sig.Paolo gentilissimo che ti accoglie e ti indica il menù, abbiamo mangiato una degustazione di antipasti, con salsiccia di Bra buonissima, e fassona al coltello... Lo scamone su piastra è fenomenale tenerissimo, ottima qualità di carne. E il dolce semifreddo alla nocciola...una bontà. Pulizia impeccabile. Complimenti.

10/03/2025: In our areas you can no longer find trattorias like this... here time seems to have stopped, a simple and welcoming place but the difference is made by the food... genuine and delicious with excellent quality products... and what about the owner... friendly and always ready with a joke!!! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!!!

22/02/2025: Cibo ottimo e abbondante in un locale vecchio stile. Purtroppo le persone lasciano recensioni negative molto ingiuste pensando "al chihuahua in giardino" o senza capire che in una trattoria dal sapore antico non ci sono camerieri cerimoniosi da serie tv, ma persone reali. Una garanzia!

16/03/2025: We went on the advice of friends but no... they bring you the dishes without the possibility of choosing, it would like to be a typical Piedmontese dinner but hey a dull cuisine with little soul, the minimum wage in terms of taste and portions, nice place but not too much, non-woven fabric tablecloth, bill too high 37 euros without wine for what you ate... too bad

22/02/2025: Absolut durchschnittliches Essen. Wir hatten das degustations Menu (5-Gänger). Meine Frau hatte das Menu mit Trüffeln gewählt aber die haben nach nichts geschmeckt. Im allgemeinen war das Essen zu schwach gewürtzt, völlig Fad. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Weinempfehlung war auch sehr gut.
