30/09/2025: Last year, on the weekend of the chestnut fair (Saturday evening), due to a reservation error (two people with the same name booked and were mistaken for the same person), we were turned away at the last minute. I should point out that we had two small children, and at 7:30 pm we had to perform the nearly impossible task of finding somewhere else to eat. The other reservation was for 8:30-9 pm. Instead of offering us a quick dinner, waiting a few minutes for the other guests at the same table, they preferred to dismiss us by offering us a free dinner on another date. Given the disappointment of the treatment we received, neither free nor paid, we will return. Moreover, we had been there before, and the food and service had been excellent. Fortunately, it was a family dinner, and everyone understood that the mix-up hadn't been caused by the person who had booked, but I wonder what kind of damage I might have suffered if we had been with strangers or important business clients. Obviously I won't go into the merits of the choice made as to which customer to prefer, which was truly a deplorable and humiliating scene.

21/09/2025: A wonderful place run by friendly, knowledgeable, and very knowledgeable staff, everyone is very friendly. Fixed-price menu. Fresh, quality ingredients. In my opinion, some dishes were over-seasoned, such as the roast beef, which had too much oil, almost nauseating. The mushroom tahini were disappointing; the only flavor you could taste was the stock cube. The tagliata steak, on the other hand, was excellent, cooked just right, truly unique! Definitely worth a try. Remember to book well in advance!

22/09/2025: What can I say... excellent traditional Piedmontese cuisine with top-quality ingredients prepared with care and passion. Attentive and friendly service made us feel right at home, and an excellent wine selection with a wide selection of local wines. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Bra!

21/09/2025: We enjoyed a perfect lunch at Battaglino dal 1919 today. The food clearly expressed the traditional methods but did so in a sophisticated manner with careful presentation and nuanced flavours. The wine by the glass was excellent in both quality and value. Desserts were also exceptional and the service friendly and generous.

02/10/2025: Good cuisine with local products, reasonably priced compared to similar restaurants in the area. The raw meat is excellent. Avoid the butter and sage plin, however, as they have only a hint of seasoning, resulting in dry and stringy pasta. The desserts are decent, but nothing special. The service is courteous and friendly.

28/09/2025: Excellent trattoria nestled in the hills of Monforte. Generous portions and very reasonable prices for both quality and quantity (the tajarìn with ragù was only €10). The food was all excellent and beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially one of the waitresses who was particularly approachable and made us feel at home. It's the perfect place for a quiet Sunday lunch with friends. Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: Magnificent period building, superbly renovated. The staff is attentive and welcoming. The junior suite, located in a quiet area overlooking a small patio, is comfortable and beautifully furnished. Quality breakfast. The spa must be reserved in advance as it is private. A flawless experience for a pleasant stay in this beautiful region. Parking is a 3-minute walk away.

24/08/2025: A historic building, meticulously restored and transformed into a hotel. The meticulously maintained rooms offer all the comforts of a 4-star hotel (and more), and it has a small spa (for private use and a fee) that's a real gem. The restaurant serves traditional dishes using top-quality ingredients. Perfect location for visiting the Langhe. The breakfast, featuring local products, is excellent. The rooms are impeccably clean. The staff is always courteous and helpful, a special thanks to Arianna. Highly recommended; if we're in the area again, we'll definitely return.

13/07/2025: Bellissima e gustosissima esperienza, cenato in famiglia, prima volta in questo locale, non mi dilungo sulle portate prese, ma in 5 abbiamo "preso un po' di tutto" e abbiamo assaggiato i piatti di tutti ... Dagli antipasti ai dolci si percepisce da subito la qualità degli ingredienti eccellenti, cucinati con cura e presentati con eleganza. Ampio il salone, tavoli ottimamente distribuiti, "acustica" soft in un ambiente comunque informale ed allegro. Ora che lo abbiamo scoperto, a due passi da casa e questa è una pecca di chi scrive, ci torneremo sicuramente. Dimenticavo, rapporto prezzo/qualità giusto ed ineccepibile... BRAVI!

23/06/2025: 5 stars are not enough. Incredible quality, a sunny and efficient staff, a refined but at the same time intimate environment. The pizza is really excellent like all their dishes! Absolutely to try if you visit the Pesio Valley ❤️

28/09/2025: Located in the Arma Valley, above Demonte, it can be reached by car, but especially by bike and motorbike. The surrounding landscape is magnificent and wild. The cuisine is excellent, carefully prepared and homemade, with vegetarian options. The owner and staff are kind and cheerful. We didn't use the rooms, so I can't comment. In the summer, there's a star box just outside the refuge, allowing you to sleep while fully enjoying the starry night sky.

14/09/2025: A charming place, we spent a wonderful, relaxing day. The owner was welcoming, and all the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent, authentic dishes, and exquisite desserts. We'll definitely be back!

08/10/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The scent of truffles filled the air, adding a luxurious touch to the whole evening. We also really enjoyed the biodynamic wine – it was excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: Long weekend in the Langhe with friends. We had lunch here and came back. Excellent quality, excellent service, and the owner and waiters were helpful and courteous, especially Francesco, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Highly recommended.

04/10/2025: We dined at this restaurant based on the good reviews, but unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed. For starters, we ordered the ravioli del plin with two roasts and the tagliarin with ragù, both mediocre: the plin were under-seasoned, and the tagliarin lacked flavor and were a bit overcooked. For main courses, we ordered the braised beef and veal with tuna sauce. The braised beef was tasty, but we would have preferred it a little more tender, but overall, we enjoyed it. The veal with tuna sauce was flavorful and savory, definitely our favorite dish. The recommended bottle of red wine was good.

14/10/2025: Nice cozy restaurant, Good honest food with good price. We have mixed antipasti that contains 4 items in generous size and very tasty! And we also get extra salad The Tajarin and Ravioli were also delicious Highly Recommended!

13/10/2025: I didn't even get to eat. I called to make a reservation, and a man rudely told me they didn't have any seats and hung up on me! RUDE!

12/09/2025: Definitely not at Michelin start food not even fine dining for me. The vitello tonnato was saltless and the meat was quite chewing with not enough sauce and one caper. Definitely the dish was not elevated with very basic presentation. The main veal was soft and tasty but the presentation was very basic not even a trattoria. Its sad because the location is beautiful and the wine cellar is impressive. Service was good but I don't think will come back to eat at least.
