11/11/2025: We visited on a Monday, but it was still very crowded—a sign of its excellent reputation. Dogs are welcome and treated with great care: they immediately brought us a bowl and even a little gift from Monge. The winery is simply spectacular and worth the visit alone. I recommend booking for lunch to fully enjoy the splendid view of the hills.

10/11/2025: Excellent Langhe cuisine. A beautiful location with breathtaking views of the Langhe. Option to book one of the very few rooms with an excellent breakfast included. Very popular especially during truffle season (but also at other times), perhaps some details could be improved regarding the service (the longtime staff are impeccable, but the same cannot be said for the new recruits). An anthological cellar where you can also organize an unforgettable aperitif. The owners are always present and warmly attentive to their guests' needs.

26/10/2025: The best burger in the Langhe and near Alba. Excellent quality ingredients and super juicy!! Thank you, you've made up for my last experience with a terrible burger nearby! 😄

12/10/2025: Jolly Jumper in Treiso is always a great option for dining outside Alba, especially for escaping the summer heat thanks to its panoramic location amid the hills. The restaurant offers burgers, pizzas, fried foods, grilled dishes, and craft beers, with monthly specials. Among these, I highly recommend the pumpkin pizza currently available (pictured)! The food is very good, offering some rather unusual combinations (sweet potato pizza or pulled pork) and vegetarian options, but the sandwiches, in my opinion, could be bigger. For dessert, you absolutely must try the cheesecake! The restaurant is very spacious but also noisy, accommodating large groups, so I recommend booking to ensure a spot. I should also note that they have two seatings, and unfortunately, parking for the second seating is often difficult, as the available space is large but not vacated in time by the first seating patrons.

29/10/2025: The MonteOliveto location, surrounded by greenery, is simply stunning! We spent a wonderful evening celebrating our 50th birthday, surrounded by an enchanting atmosphere. Special thanks to Valeria, who was so kind and always available!

09/10/2025: Encouraged by the good reviews, we tried this trattoria (which is nothing like a trattoria), but unfortunately, we were disappointed. The dishes have been revisited, losing the originality that distinguishes authentic Langhe cuisine. But be careful with your bill, because the menu says the price of the dishes includes service, but in reality, you pay a cover charge. This is not very appropriate. The location is elegant and refined.

07/10/2025: Beautiful place...found it online since we were from Liguria...they even accepted our Labrador...everything was delicious...we'll definitely be back. We recommended some friends to dine there the week after our stay.

02/11/2025: Trattoria like it used to be, since 1939. The photos on the website don't do this warm and welcoming place justice. Family-run, with the owners always ready for a chat. The tajarin with sausage ragù are highly recommended (I had seconds...) and the chocolate "bonet" dessert, a typical Piedmontese treat. The original metal sign, dating back to 1939, is legendary. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

23/10/2025: I can't recommend it enough! We ate divinely well. The 33-yolk tajarin, the plin with three roasts, and the veal with tuna sauce are definitely worth trying! The desserts are also very good. The service was attentive and courteous. We'll definitely be back! Thank you.

17/09/2025: We spent one night in this wonderful property. The room was clean and very spacious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and Mrs. Cinzia was truly kind! We had dinner on the property, featuring excellent local food. Both dinner and breakfast were highly praised by us adults and our daughter! We will definitely be back!

14/09/2025: My husband and I stayed one night recently, having found it on Google to be very quiet. It was recently renovated, spotlessly clean, and well-organized. The owner was kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Excellent dinner, superb breakfast! Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: A unique mountain hut on the southern descent of the Colle Valcavera. It's more of a mountain biker hotspot, but we enduro riders were also warmly welcomed. Tip: The tables for two by the fence post offer a stunning view of the valley. Delicious!

28/09/2025: Located in the Arma Valley, above Demonte, it can be reached by car, but especially by bike and motorbike. The surrounding landscape is magnificent and wild. The cuisine is excellent, carefully prepared and homemade, with vegetarian options. The owner and staff are kind and cheerful. We didn't use the rooms, so I can't comment. In the summer, there's a star box just outside the refuge, allowing you to sleep while fully enjoying the starry night sky.

14/11/2025: I only went for lunch. The location is truly beautiful. The lunch was good, the prices fair, the service good. We tried almost everything on the menu, including the addition of truffle. The tartare was exquisite, the tagliatelle with white ragù was excellent, the veal was unusual but good, and the tagliolini with butter and truffle were very good. Although the first grating of truffle wasn't good, we asked for more truffle and the second grating was good, which encouraged us to order a second helping... because 100g of pasta left us with a bit of room. Highly recommended for the good value. The wines we drank, chosen by us and also recommended, were also excellent.

07/11/2025: This is the perfect get away, yet close to Alba. Great, super friendly crew, family values, and personal attention to your needs. Kitchen delivers outstanding and creative presentations of the local produce, game, dairy and meats. Been here several times over the years and will be back.

02/10/2025: Good cuisine with local products, reasonably priced compared to similar restaurants in the area. The raw meat is excellent. Avoid the butter and sage plin, however, as they have only a hint of seasoning, resulting in dry and stringy pasta. The desserts are decent, but nothing special. The service is courteous and friendly.

28/09/2025: Excellent trattoria nestled in the hills of Monforte. Generous portions and very reasonable prices for both quality and quantity (the tajarìn with ragù was only €10). The food was all excellent and beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially one of the waitresses who was particularly approachable and made us feel at home. It's the perfect place for a quiet Sunday lunch with friends. Highly recommended!

22/10/2025: A fantastic experience, to say the least. The staff was even more excellent. Young, professional, and friendly. An unexpected surprise. Exceptional location (again, according to my tastes). Refined and elegant place. I'd say if and when I return to the area, it will be the first place I'll try. The restaurant is in an excellent location (I haven't tried it), but I won't miss it in the future. Excellent!

20/10/2025: Delicious small gem in the heart of Fossano. Highly recommended! Lovely staff, best coffee in town and a lovely internal courtyard to enjoy it. Rooms are beautiful!

12/11/2025: I don't usually leave negative reviews, and I won't this time either. But I was disappointed to be turned down after booking a week in advance and coming from Lecce. I'm still leaving 5 stars because I don't want a staff member's mistake to damage the restaurant's rating. But be more careful next time. Not everyone is as understanding as I am.
