29/01/2026: I had lunch at Da Salvetti with a group of friends on a weekday. We chose the tasting menu, a small aperitif, four appetizers (veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad, creamed cod, and toma cheese with amaretto and warm syrup), two first courses (rosemary agnolotti and hazelnut tagliolini), one second course (roast or pork tenderloin), or cheeses, and dessert. We drank Barbera d'Alba. They also provided homemade digestifs. Everything was excellent, the service and location were attentive. We had a great time, highly recommended.

Welcome appetizer, four appetizers, two first courses, and cheese selections with apple jam and chestnut honey.
We'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

14/02/2026: Definitely overrated. Piedmontese cuisine only on paper: imprecise execution, anonymous dishes, and unclear flavors. Everything is forgettable... the price isn't justified by the quality. In an area with a high-end culinary scene, this place currently thrives on reputation rather than substance.

24/11/2025: We only ate at the restaurant, and we highly recommend it. I would say it's not an everyday dining experience, as it's very refined. The ambiance is very elegant and sophisticated, and the carpets effectively dampen the acoustics, which is very pleasant. The service is absolutely professional and very attentive. Every course was exquisite. We went there for my birthday, and it was a wonderful birthday present.

We had the tartare di gassosa as an appetizer, excellent! For the first course, we had tajarin with ragù and gnocchi, and for the second course, sliced Fassona beef. Everything was fantastic.
The girls in the dining room were very kind and attentive to service!

07/01/2026: This is the restaurant of the Viberti family, who also own the eponymous winery. The food is excellent; all the dishes we tried were well-executed and made with top-quality ingredients. Everything is paired with their excellent wines.
A wonderful experience, I'll do it again and I highly recommend it.

02/12/2025: This restaurant was a wonderful discovery. Stunning location, charming venue, excellent food, you can taste the love and passion in the dishes. The staff and owners are very kind. We will definitely be back. You can also stay overnight in beautiful rooms, and there's even an indoor pool.
18/11/2025: We chose to have dinner at this restaurant on our first night staying in the area for our Barolo & Barbaresco wine tasting the next day.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a great atmosphere and delicious food.
The only thing I have to deduct points for is that we had to wait a very long time for each dish, and it was quite difficult to get the staff’s attention. From the moment we arrived, waited to place our order, and then waited for each dish to be served until we finally paid, the entire experience took almost three hours.

04/02/2026: A simple restaurant on the main road to Colle della Maddalena, very close to the Forte di Vinadio. We were passing by one evening and, seeing the menu, decided on pizza. After a reasonable wait, we were served two ordinary pizzas, with no particular attention paid to the dough and ingredients, overcooked, and dry crusts. Perhaps the food is better, and perhaps the pizzas were just unlucky, but considering the lack of attention to detail, with tables very close together, and a decidedly noisy atmosphere, the rating is fair.

11/12/2025: A delicious lunch in a fairytale location.
A pleasant experience with my brothers-in-law and cousins. Every dish was exquisite, starting with the rich welcome aperitif with countless appetizers, each more delicious than the last, followed by a lasagna with root vegetables, mushrooms, and anchovy sauce that was simply marvelous. The second course was a rich duck à l'orange, and to finish, a dessert that for us Piedmontese is truly the best: hazelnut cake, zabaglione, creamy hazelnut gelato...the best.
As a final treat, many small sweet bites...wonderful.
Chef Stefano came to chat with us right at the table, which we really appreciated.
What can I say...go there as soon as you can, I'll be back soon!

18/02/2026: You guys are fantastic!!! The welcome was wonderful, smiling, kind, and professional (which is rare these days). We always come in the summer for our delicious granita. We happened to be in the area for Carnival, and what do you do? You don't get a granita when it's 30°F outside!? 🤣 On that occasion, the owner let us try their new fruit gelato... MANGO GELATO, GENTLEMEN. 👏💯 Perfect, well-balanced, excellent, and you can taste the fruit being processed fresh!!! Not those so-called "artisanal" powdered gelatos; you know how to distinguish quality. Highly recommended. (And the fact that they have granita in the winter is great!!!) See you this summer, as always, congratulations.
30/11/2025: Excellent ice cream shop. You can sit inside, but you can also take a stroll to the nearby park outside.
