22/05/2025: Very welcoming and nice atmosphere. Excellent food that offers typical traditional dishes of great quality. Excellent wine list. Particular attention is paid to both the bread, accompanied by excellent focaccia and carasau bread, and the small pastries to close the meal.

The things I really liked were the menu completely written in dialect and the whole bottle of wine where you pay by the glass. Prices a bit above average for a trattoria. Cheese counter very rich and interesting.

21/04/2025: ⸻ A weekend of pure beauty and haute cuisine in the heart of the Langhe We spent a weekend at Il Vigneto in Roddi, during a trip to discover the wonders of the Langhe, and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a breathtaking landscape, immersed in the quiet and authentic beauty of these hills, where calm and peace reign, now rare to find. We chose a suite for our stay and the level of hospitality was equal - if not superior - to many renowned 5-star hotels. Nothing is left to chance: the room is spacious, furnished with impeccable taste and equipped with a hydromassage tub for two people, a large and luxurious bathroom, and a King Size bed with extraordinary comfort. An environment designed for relaxation, with attention to the smallest details. I really wished time would stop. The restaurant, then, was a real revelation. The service is on par with the best gastronomic restaurants: courteous, knowledgeable and attentive dining room staff, impeccable cutlery changes, refills of bread, artisanal breadsticks and focaccias that are always fresh. Every detail is an expression of sober elegance, never forced, and above all of an authentic passion for the territory and the cuisine. The menu is balanced and original, with proposals that combine respect for tradition with innovative and never banal research. I speak as a chef: here you can perceive a profound knowledge of the ingredients and an almost reverential respect for every single product. We tasted: • Whipped egg with truffle and Parmesan cream: an elegant and intense dish, balanced to perfection. • Ravioli del plin with cocoa and gorgonzola: surprising, harmonious, with a bitter-sweet note that goes perfectly with the strength of the cheese. • Veal cheek: masterfully cooked, with a deep and complex flavour, capable of describing the territory with style and refinement. The wine list is well structured, broad and representative of the extraordinary oenological richness of the area, with proposals for all palates and levels of curiosity. In summary, Il Vigneto is a place where hospitality meets gastronomic excellence in a natural context of rare beauty. An address that I recommend without hesitation to those seeking the best of the Langhe, with the soul of those who know how to welcome and the mind of those who want to excite. 01/05/2025: It is a very nice and welcoming restaurant, the quality of the food is excellent, the two people who serve in the room are attentive and kind, it's a shame that the service is slow!! For a dinner where you ordered a tasting menu with starter, first course and second course 3h and 30min. On average a dish every hour and a little went out. So if you want excellent food in a comfortable environment and you're not too hungry given the wait, this is definitely a recommended place

23/04/2025: Mi rammarico del punteggio espresso, già cliente parecchie volte per ambiente, qualità e ottimi vini ma l'ultima volta la mia giornata di Pasquetta è stata rovinata da un'attesa sconfortante per circa un'ora dell'antipasto,a seguire uno spaghetto tiepido e condito frettolosamente. La cucina è espressa,certo! Ma se gli ospiti sono più numerosi dei soliti due o tre tavoli vorrà dire che in cucina il personale deve essere adeguato! Non deve ricadere sul cliente che paga profumatamente fino all'ultimo caffè non gentilmente offerto! La professionalità è doverosa in certi contesti.

21/05/2025: I review the restaurant. We went to Marsupino to celebrate a special event and we had a great time. We chose a truly excellent tasting menu, accompanied by excellent local wines and also by a very popular Sicilian label. Each dish was taken care of in detail, well presented and with an impeccable taste. The ravioli with nettles and the nougat semifreddo were delicious. The service was very kind: they welcomed us with a smile and made us feel truly at home. The place is elegant, refined and perfect for special occasions. It was a beautiful evening, compliments to all the staff! We will definitely be back.

29/04/2025: Monday in Alba and the best clubs in the city closed. About 40 minutes from the capital of the Langhe, in the midst of hills of vines and hazelnut groves, a tiny, well-kept village at the center of which is this structure which has been dedicated to the refreshment of travellers, since 1901. The restaurant is mentioned by the red Michelin, but still has no star. Without a reservation we are warmly welcomed and seated in a room with a few tables and, given the time, we leave the chef and the sommelier free rein to let us discover their delicacies. A succession of 6 well-harmonised courses of local dishes served gracefully by the attentive dining room staff. Cost below expectations and could easily aspire to a star. Definitely worth returning, perhaps in autumn for the wine and the famous tuber of the area. Well done!!
