05/08/2026: We went to La Piola spontaneously for lunch when we visited Alba because we saw recommendations from locals on YouTube. We got a good table outside, we were there with our dog too. We had an amazing lunch, the agnolotti was one of the best we’ve ever had. Service was top-notch. Now it’s a must-go for whenever we are in Alba.

Chef Valerio's cuisine stands out both for the raw materials used for each dish and for the preparation and imagination in creating the menus. Risotto al Fondo Bruno is spectacular! Excellent wine list. Masterfully recommended by Mrs. Anna. I highly recommend this place, an experience not to be missed! ❤️

This family-run establishment exudes the passion behind every detail. The property is lovingly maintained and extremely clean. We highly recommend it.

The staff was incredibly friendly, including the chef, who came out to greet everyone at the table. A super enjoyable evening, I hope to return for the à la carte menu.

25/02/2026: We stayed at the Albergo Ristorante Trieste in Boves and truly felt at home. The welcome was one of our strong points: the owner is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to help with a smile. A special thanks also to his mother, who is truly sweet and friendly—people who make you feel welcome right away. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, everything was tidy and pleasant. In the morning, a generous and varied breakfast awaited us, with plenty of choice and delicious products: perfect for starting the day. The location is strategic for the ski slopes, very convenient for those who want to enjoy the mountains without stress. The village is also very welcoming and quiet, ideal for a true getaway. A simple place but with a big heart. We would love to return. ❤️

31/05/2026: Very beautiful place. Breathtaking views. The lodge owners are very kind and the food is good. The only flaw is the very slow service. We waited in the sun for over 45 minutes to order. Once we ordered, they were very quick to bring the food to the table. Perhaps some help with order taking and payment could be helpful.
