09/12/2025: A beautiful farmhouse just a few kilometers from the center of La Morra in the Langhe. Spacious, clean, and welcoming rooms. Friendly owners. The property boasts a large garden and a swimming pool, a real highlight in the summer. There's an on-site restaurant. A delicious breakfast featuring local produce. Parking is available behind the property.

07/12/2025: Ca' d'Olga plays an interesting game between Langhe tradition and a desire to be bold. The menu is well thought out: all the great classics are there, reassuring and recognizable, but every now and then a bolder pairing emerges that avoids the "seen a thousand times before" effect. A cuisine that knows where to put its feet, but doesn't nail them to the floor. Among the most successful dishes are the macarons del frèt, centered and well-balanced, and a remarkable veal cheek, tender as promised and consistent down to the last bite. Raw ingredients are treated with respect, cooked precisely, and no unnecessary virtuosity. The wine list is discreet and consistent with the region, without encyclopedic pretensions. A downside: the selection by the glass, especially for dessert wines, is rather limited. A shame, because it somewhat breaks the finale. The service is informal but efficient: quick, courteous, without the rigidity of a restaurant that "takes itself too seriously." They make you feel at ease, and that's saying something. The location is isolated, off the beaten track, but it makes up for it with a spectacular view of the Langhe, almost like an agricultural Las Vegas: hills instead of neon lights, definitely better that way. Fair price, no surprises or scams disguised as creativity. In short: a solid, well-balanced place, where tradition and curiosity coexist without stepping on each other's toes. Worth the detour.

12/01/2026: I've eaten here several times. Both the owners and the staff are fabulous, and the food is very good. Today, in particular, I was shocked because I happened to wander in and discovered they were closed tomorrow for a month's holiday and...??? And they offered lunch to all their customers... Shocked...!!

22/12/2025: We had dinner last night. The absurd thing was that they charged us for two extra menus just because two people in our group canceled at the last minute due to illness. I've never had this happen anywhere else where they charged even for those who didn't eat. And then we ate the menu from the table next to us, since it was a company dinner.

23/02/2026: Stayed with friends on February 21, 2026. Ussolo is a beautiful village, in fact, it's been the setting for several films. Marta, the new manager of the beautifully renovated and comfortable stopover for about three years, has made it a welcoming and warm place. The dinner was excellent and plentiful, the breakfast truly sumptuous. Everything was very clean, well-kept, and of high quality. I recommend a stay of a few days.

24/10/2025: We stopped by for a quick break at the end of the trip, a coffee and a drink. It was a pleasure to find the friendliness, cleanliness, and simplicity to be top-notch. A rare and appreciated atmosphere of friendship. Thank you!

23/02/2026: Highly recommended! The dishes are delicious, with an interesting variety. The service is excellent. I highly recommend it. This is our second time here, and we will definitely keep coming back. They have a wide variety of high-quality dishes, both sweet and savory. The variety of pizzas is impressive, and they are so delicious! Everyone who manages the place and provides the service is extremely friendly, making for a very pleasant experience. I recommend it and thank them for the wonderful experience.

08/01/2026: A splendid refuge accessible only on foot (30 minutes from the upper Puy village) with clear signs and a very simple route. Isolated in nature, it offers a splendid view. It has four rooms, only one of which has a private bathroom, so choose carefully. The rooms are spotless, rustic, and well-organized; they do not have a TV. There is a sauna for relaxation (reservation required). The kindness and helpfulness of the owners is top-notch. The rich and delicious menu is worthy of a real restaurant, not a refuge. The selection of wines and beers is excellent. In short, a unique place for a truly relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

03/01/2026: The staff is super polite and friendly, and the pizza is very good. Sometimes there's a wait on Saturdays, but that's normal. It's so good, so demand is high.

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner. The menu wasn't to our liking; we found each dish too sweet. We ate on the lovely veranda. It was a shame the hot air blew onto our table, which I had to ask them to turn off. The service was average, not particularly attentive. The bill was steep, but it didn't quite make up for our experience. I don't know if we'll be back.

18/11/2025: A true village restaurant, sadly becoming increasingly rare these days. A 1970s-style atmosphere, home cooking, and prompt but simple service. The food is good and inexpensive, but if you're looking for a trendy place with creative cuisine or you fancy yourself a gourmet, please abstain. At Maresa, you're in the Alta Langa, so you eat what's on offer and drink the house wine, but that's precisely the beauty of it... and in summer, lunch under the portico is a delight. An excellent stop for motorcyclists and lovers of winding roads and beautiful scenery.
