24/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato con amici in questo semplice ma accogliente locale, situato sui monti che costeggiano il lago di Como, sopra Gravedona. Piatti gustosi (vedi foto), porzioni abbondanti, servizio efficiente, eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo.

19/08/2024: Village restaurant. The waiting time is extremely long. It's noisy, locals/locals smoke and shout near your table. The kitchen is not bad

22/08/2024: Beautiful restaurant and decent service but apart from the names of the dishes, the food is far from authentic or traditional. Overcooked pasta, dry wild boar ragout, re-hydrated porcini mushrooms and unsure whether the carpaccio had been cured in house (stated as “marinated” on the menu but was pretty much cured meat). A very pricey lunch for a disappointing experience, with 3.5euros added cover charge for 5 gressinis and 3 awful little bread rolls. The staff is pleasant and the drinks list is great with good standards of service in that manner. Of course, the view is unbeatable and if you’re not too fussed about eating quality Italian food, have a go at it.

22/08/2024: In advance. The view is very nice, you sit comfortably and there is suitable music playing in the background. Service staff is nice, not stressed or annoyingly intrusive. Now for the negative. 1. the card is only available virtually on the smartphone. The fact that there is no good reception doesn't make things any easier. 2. We ordered a ribeye steak (medium) and a pasta. The steak arrived rare and by no means medium, which shouldn't happen at a price of just under 30 euros just for the steak. The portion of pasta was quite a bit too small, so I finished it after 2 minutes and was still able to watch my partner eating hungrily. The cutlery that was forgotten at the beginning was dull, so the steak was more likely to be mashed than cut. But what you shouldn't forget. It was delicious and tasted good. In the end, the experience is roughly described in the restaurant name: “AJO” - was okay

22/08/2024: The bruschetta is simply delicious - no matter what kind. But the burgers (with slightly different buns) and the carbonara also taste delicious. And first the dessert 🤤 Plus the perfect location right on the lake! I can only recommend it!

11/07/2024: Jedes Jahr ist das Grotto Campo das erste Ziel,was wir aus Lugano ansteuern….dieses kleine,versteckt gelegene Restaurant ist ein absolutes Highlight…….Köstliches Essen von einem sizilianischen Koch zubereitet,freundlichstes und aufmerksamstes Personal,faire Preise und eine urige,gemütliche Atmosphäre,ob drinnen oder draußen!!!!!Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!

28/07/2024: We ate very well but unfortunately there is a big problem the HOT place without air conditioning impossible to enjoy the dishes prepared with great care I'm really sorry but I brought my family and we didn't even get to dessert due to the heat... I'm sorry really but impossible to have dinner during this period.

22/07/2024: We stayed here on our way to Tuscany. Nice quiet location. Well-kept rooms, staff was friendly but did not understand English well. We had a room with breakfast. Definitely not value for money. Breakfast was mediocre for what we had to pay. Food in the restaurant was tasty but also on the expensive side. Overall it is a good hotel, but the price does not match what you get.

28/08/2024: Ottima pizza, croccante e sostanziosa. Ottime le materie prime, la cura dei clienti e molto piacevole il contesto. Le pizze costano qualche euro in più, ma ci sta' considerando tutto l'insieme; non c'è una lista da ore di lettura pur garantendo buona varietà di scelta e in più c'è la pizza "contemporanea" e delle belle insalate che abbiamo visto passare. A noi è piaciuto, ci ha lasciato la voglia di tornarci e sicuramente lo faremo

19/08/2024: Atypical setting and possible lake view. Pleasant service. Quiet restaurant on the heights of Tremezzo. The kitchen is perfect. Cooking on a wood-fired grill. The mixed meat skewer was perfect as was the ham plate as a starter! If you are a fan of mushroom risotto I highly recommend it! Homemade tiramisu is just delicious. Remember to book ;) Map translated into French/English and German.

17/08/2024: Disappointed, I was recommended this restaurant, the location is great but the pizzas have no taste. We feel that these are low-end ingredients. To get used to eating pizza. Throughout Italy, these are good for tourists who don't know the real good pizzas.
