29/08/2025: We recently had the opportunity to visit this luxury restaurant overlooking Lake Como, and I must say it was a truly unique experience. Although we weren't prepared for the high prices because we thought we'd booked a different type of restaurant, the service was impeccable. When we realized our mistake and that the service was unfortunately beyond our reach, we decided to cancel our order, and the staff responded with extreme professionalism and courtesy. Not only did they not charge us anything (they had offered us water while we waited), but they also smiled and accepted our apology with great class. It was clear that their goal was to ensure a pleasant experience for all customers, even in unexpected situations. The view of Lake Como is simply breathtaking, and the restaurant is definitely a must-visit for those seeking a high-quality experience. Thanks to the staff for their kindness and professionalism.

16/08/2025: Rifugio Bugone, just steps from Monte Bisbino, boasts an excellent panoramic view of the lake. The young, friendly, and welcoming owners offer traditional mountain refuge dishes and lower prices than other "baite" on Lake Como. Reservations are highly recommended!

01/08/2025: Ricardo runs the refuge, and he's a charming man. The food is delicious; Ricardo cooks it himself. There's even homemade cake. The view is fantastic. It's simple, beautiful, and clean. Ricardo is warm and friendly. We felt welcome and comfortable.

09/07/2025: I give 3 stars for the beautiful interior and pleasant atmosphere. But the menu and quality still need work. The price does not match the quality. I piatti - nulla di che... There is no effect when you can say Wow. Ordinary food. I have eaten tartare and it tastes better in ordinary restaurants. Nothing special. Tartare for almost 50 €, I did not understand the taste at all. Then we took dessert, the cake smelled like a refrigerator, it must have been lying there for several days. Well, so-so...

23/06/2025: We opted for the tasting (the seven sins of the chef) the food was excellent and served with a good cadence. The dinner lasted about two and a half hours. The courses consisted of 3 appetizers (raw fish and melon, carne salada and datterini tomatoes and beef tartar) 2 first courses (pasta with pesto and pasta with wild boar ragù) sliced ​​Argentinean meat and panna cotta for dessert. Excellent service, the staff was really friendly. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: I agree with Antonio Enrico di Filippo's comment. The restaurant and its design are excellent, both in concept and execution. I'd like to make a special note (since others have better photos and explain the dishes better) about the dining room, both on the ground and first floors. The music is enchanting, from ascending blues to jazz and swing. The tables, tablecloths, chairs/armchairs, silverware, and even the coffee cups are in a class of their own. The prices are fair, not those that jump on the eternal "inflation" bandwagon, as almost everyone now justifies. The staff is excellent, the service informal but with a kindness and reassurance that feels like warmth. It's not the singularity of its many qualities that makes it special, but rather the way they all come together in a perfect sphere. A "hidden" diamond in the streets of Como city center. I hope and think their business is doing well, otherwise, with all due respect to the staff, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Como, vegetarian or not. The flavors are simple and stand out without creating a pinball machine of sensations on the palate. Sachertorte (but actually halfway through the stomach given the abundance)

30/08/2025: We went to this beautiful grotto for dinner, renovated and well-maintained, surrounded by lush greenery and with plenty of parking. It was our first time trying pizza, but there are several other dishes we'd love to try. The kindness and undeniable courtesy of Damiano and Fabrizio, my wife's cousins, are the real highlight of this lovely grotto.

La qualità della materia prima è straordinaria: si sente che ogni ingrediente è selezionato con rigore e rispetto per la stagionalità. Dall’antipasto al dolce, ogni piatto è un perfetto equilibrio tra tecnica, creatività e tradizione. Le presentazioni sono eleganti ma sincere, senza mai scivolare nell’eccesso: ogni portata racconta una storia e valorizza la cucina italiana con un tocco da grande chef. Insomma, alta cucina a tutti gli effetti, con sapori che rimangono impressi nella memoria. Un luogo dove si torna volentieri, non solo per mangiare bene, ma per vivere una vera esperienza gastronomica. Assolutamente consigliato a chi cerca eccellenza e autenticità, in un ambiente modesto e a prezzi assolutamente modici. Un consiglio però…. Non fermatevi all’apparenza, perché la sostanza è davvero incredibile e armatevi di tanta pazienza! Ma come si dice…: “L’attesa del piacere è essa stessa il piacere”. Complimenti sinceri!!!!!

30/07/2025: Looking for a restaurant where we could try something different from the usual, this seemed like the perfect fit for the occasion. As soon as we entered the courtyard, we could already smell the delicious cuisine. Excellent welcome, clean location, very kind and always smiling staff. 😍. The menu is rich in traditional Sardinian dishes at a good price. We enjoyed EVERYTHING and promise to return soon to try other dishes on the menu. A beautiful evening.

28/06/2025: the best wedding location in terms of value for money, beauty and service for a wedding. We celebrated our wedding here because it was the perfect location with plan b: if it rains on the terrace, plan a: the ceremony in the greenery was the best. The location is so big that you can use any area for different activities. The food was really good and we loved the aperitif and desserts! The staff is super friendly and super helpful. Special thanks to Elena and her mother for organizing everything!

02/06/2025: A family-run business run with great care and courtesy, with a small, relaxing garden full of jasmine blossoms. Pure relaxation! The refined ambiance in the restaurant and select delicacies on the menu! A true delight! The rooms are well-kept and clean, with an older style, almost "vintage" ;-)

15/08/2025: We stayed in Domaso for five days and ate here three nights. Fantastic lake views, good menu, very friendly staff, highly recommended! Make sure to make a reservation, otherwise there's a good chance there won't be a spot.

23/06/2025: I went to Bistro’ Lurati with my friends, and we had such a fantastic evening! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh pasta, perfectly cooked steak, and the desserts were amazing! The quality of the ingredients really stood out. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owners were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Great wine selection too. Definitely a highlight of our trip, we’d all go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

20/06/2025: We often visit Porlezza and almost always stop by Lurati if we want to get good meat. The staff is always very professional in their approach to your wishes to improve your stay at the Bistro.

12/08/2025: The wide variety of fish from Lake Como is reduced to three bland pieces of fish, two of them the same fish. More than forgettable. As you can see, the lemon was as big as any piece of fish. 22 euros a plate.

01/08/2025: What a great place to stop for a bite to eat on the way to Bellagio. It has a public beach and great views of the lake, so you can bring your picnic and eat.
