04/09/2025: I had a welcoming and personalized experience at this accommodation. The manager on duty welcomed me with kindness and thoughtfulness, taking care of preparing a seafood dinner suitable for my food intolerances while we checked in. He also provided me with all the useful information I needed. Despite my late and unexpected arrival, I was able to enjoy the nighttime view from Brunate without missing the spectacular sunset and the nighttime lights of Como. The room, though basic, was cozy and smelled of flowers, and was spotlessly clean. The basic amenities offered are perfectly in line with the cost of the accommodation, which is very affordable, especially considering the strategic location just steps from the funicular to the center of Brunate. I highly recommend staying here, even in high season, for the excellent value.

03/09/2025: The hotel is located overlooking Como and a short walk from the funicular into the city. It's comfortable and has an at home feeling. Raoul and his staff go out of their way to make this place feel at home. They've put their heart and soul into this place and I've never felt more welcome.

29/07/2025: The food is very good, better than many restaurants. The atmosphere is like a true 1980s tavern. When you're there, you feel like you've stepped back in time.

17/07/2025: I recently went to dinner with a friend; we found it because it also offered vegan dishes for her. We were immediately greeted warmly and escorted to our table. The waiters were present and very friendly, and above all, attentive, something hard to find these days. I had fillet steak with orange and truffle reduction, grilled vegetables, wine, and dessert. It melted in my mouth, and the three flavors blended beautifully together. The dessert was delicious; you could taste both the pistachio and the raspberry cream, and it didn't weigh me down at all. The bill was more than fair for the setting, elegant and intimate with a rustic touch. All things considered, and with water and coffee, we paid about €45 each. Highly recommended! In my opinion, it's worth a trip just to go here; I'll definitely be back.

04/08/2025: We have been in Italy for 12 days and this is the first restaurant where they serve quite large portions. The staff is very friendly. It is a bit noisy due to the traffic on the main road.

10/07/2025: We often come to this ice cream shop because our mother lives in Lenno. The ice cream is generally good, although some flavors lack flavor. However, the staff is very inexperienced and not at all attentive to the customer. I paid with a 20 euro note, returned home, and was missing the 10 euro change. I returned the next day to ask if they had counted the extra 10 euros in the cash register. The girl at the cash register barely paid attention to me, saying she couldn't do anything and that no one was responsible. Pay attention to the change they give you! I carelessly put money in my pocket without counting it. However, this is not good customer service! An ice cream costing 13.50 euros is not bad! I don't know if we'll be back.

07/08/2025: A perfect meal, high-quality ingredients, simply and expertly prepared. Wild boar, duck, fish, vitello tonnato... all excellent! And wines to match. Don't hesitate to leave the touristy restaurants for this boutique restaurant, which doesn't look like much but will provide you with unforgettable culinary pleasures.

15/06/2025: Quiet place on Lake Como. As a restaurant it is very touristy with high prices. A Margherita costs 8.50 euros and it is not exactly the best pizza I have eaten in my life. There is the possibility of taking desserts too... but only the possibility, because a tiramisu costs more than a Margherita!

12/06/2025: We had a fantastic Lake Como trip the summer of 2024! One of the great finds was the Rodrigo Ristorante Pizzeria. Our youngest daughter has celiac, so finding places that have both gluten free options and take precautions to not cross-contaminate can be difficult. She enjoyed pasta one night and pizza another night, and the owner took photos to show the pizza in a separate pan. He was amazing and really cared about our daughter to make sure everything was done right. All the food was great and the service was outstanding! Please stop by if you're near the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

23/07/2025: A total disappointment – a waste of money and dinner. A terrible experience from every perspective. The pizzas are presented with classic names – like "bufalina" or "diavola" – but arrive with completely inappropriate and often unpleasant ingredients. A buffalo mozzarella with anchovies? A diavola with 'nduja, Taggiasca olives, and bacon?! Really? What's the point of calling a pizza "diavola" and then completely distorting the basic ingredients? It's not innovation, it's confusion. As if that weren't enough, the pizzas arrived cold, soggy, and frankly inedible. Better a low-quality frozen pizza from the supermarket, and I say that without irony. €23 thrown in the trash, without even the slightest attempt at assistance or helpfulness from the staff, who were completely indifferent to complaints. Never again.

15/07/2025: Sunday at a birthday party. As a former waitress, I pulled my hair out of my hair. The drinks arrived, thankfully, after I'd been sitting down and eating for at least half an hour. The waiters weren't suited to the job. I imagine it was a wedding... I don't think I'll ever set foot in there again.

05/08/2025: It's been a long time since I've been here, and I was delighted to return to La Fagurida during a stay at Lake Como. The place is magnificent. The menu is very tempting and the dishes are very well prepared. We went there two evenings. The first we had the rabbit and tagliata. Perfect! The second evening we tried the polenta uncia, delicious with the stewed beef and the fish of the day. We finished with the delicious crème caramel. A very nice wine selection. Charming service.

20/06/2025: The food was excellent, top quality meat, impeccable service and welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed the menu, with well presented dishes and I repeat high quality meat. You can eat inside or outside. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will return very soon thanks also to the kindness of the staff, friendliness and availability of VALENTINA. To try and return!

03/06/2025: We went to the agriturismo for dinner to celebrate my daughter's confirmation; very kind and professional staff, simple but very good and genuine food...., only complaint: the wine was a bit warm. Excellent value for money., very good strozzapreti with garden ragù.

Particolarmente empatica la signora che serve (credo sia la proprietaria). Attesa nella norma. Cantina da ampliare, ma sufficiente. Consigliato!
