03/03/2026: At first, I was a little bit afraid because I wasn't sure how authentic a place this close to the border could be - but it was extraordinary. The pizza was amazing and everyone was nice and friendly - even though we only speak English. The prices are absolutely fair. The restaurant has a really good atmosphere, I can't wait to go back!

01/03/2026: This place is simply just amazing, it feels like home. The service didn't feel as service, but honest hospitality, the pizza was heavenly fantastic, and we were told several times to just tell how we would like our pizzas, and it'll be made in that way. If I could, I'd go here every day; I can't wait to be back, it'll be the highlight of our next trip to Italy.

08/04/2026: Historic, family-run restaurant. I was expecting one of the usual tourist restaurants on the lake. Instead, I was very surprised by the menu, which ranges from Italian cuisine to local dishes. The food is refined and the wine list is well-stocked. The pizza is also good. Everyone is well done, but I have to especially thank Andrea for the attentive service and his knowledge of the wines.

28/03/2026: An absolute gem. After a week of traveling and dining at some rather pretentious spots, Risto Bar was exactly the breath of fresh air our family was looking for. The food is honest, simple, and delicious. You get incredibly quick service, very fair prices, and a fantastic view of the lake while you eat. Highly recommend if you want a great, no-fuss meal!

What makes this place even more special is its unique setting. Although it belongs to the Sheraton, the restaurant itself is separate from the main hotel, located in a charming, renovated historic building surrounded by a small park. Dining here feels intimate and peaceful, with tables overlooking the greenery, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that perfectly complements the cuisine. The food is simply at a superlative level. We opted for the tasting menu (second version), and one detail I truly appreciated was the flexibility they offered. We were able to make small adjustments — in our case, replacing the pigeon with the catch of the day — and the team was more than happy to accommodate. This level of openness and attention to the guest experience is rare and highly appreciated. Every dish was flawless, from presentation to execution. The flavours were precise, balanced and deeply refined — the kind of cuisine where every detail matters and nothing is left to chance. It’s the type of experience where you remember not just the dishes, but the feeling of the entire meal. Considering the level of technique, ingredients and overall execution, the prices are very fair, especially for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Another highlight of the evening was the interaction with the kitchen team. The chefs came to our table, asked for feedback and offered additional insights about the dishes. This personal touch elevated the experience even further and showed genuine passion for their craft. Kitchen is not just a restaurant, but a complete fine dining experience — elegant, thoughtful and perfectly executed in every aspect. A must-visit in Como for anyone who appreciates high-level gastronomy.

28/03/2026: Great little spot we stumbled into while waiting for laundry around the corner. One woman shop and she hustles. Food was great and homemade. The Ragu was amazing as was the pizzoccheri. Must try!

09/02/2026: Amazing service, wonderful room, everything spotlessly clean, unique view..you could hear the waves crashing below the balcony..so impeccable, not even 5 stars..really impressive..we spent almost two days there as it was a stopover we made before Venice..we liked Mauricio a lot, so friendly..Unique experience..prefer it and you won't miss it..also excellent food in the restaurant..August 2025..
