26/03/2026: At first they brought us their olive oil and bread to dip in. We had a wonderful shrimp salad with orange slices, spaghetti with shells, fish fillet with potatoes, a tiramisu and half a kilo of local rosé. At the end they treated us(!) to a very delicious pistachio cream liqueur. We paid 90 euros. Fair for the area
25/03/2026: We had a lovely evening here. It has to be said, the prices are definitely a bit higher. But the quality of the food is also on a higher level. My pasta with salmon was tasty, but not amazing. I'd even say I could make it better at home 😄 My husband ordered beef with fries. That was the better choice. The meat was really delicious. If you want to be full, you should order an appetizer. The portions aren't that big (or maybe we're just big eaters?). I would definitely recommend the restaurant. The tiramisu was also really great. The young man who served us was super friendly and funny. We definitely had a good time.

15/06/2026: The menu stands out from other restaurants in the area and offers a welcome change from pasta and pizza. There's a particularly great selection for vegetarians. The service is attentive and friendly. The direct lakefront location is unique in Domaso.
12/06/2026: If you like burgers and steaks, this is the place to go. Burgers with fries cost around €15. Steaks range from €25 to €40. Some steaks were served on a hot plate, which was great. Others weren't, so they got cold halfway through (it was a large plate). The burgers were okay to good. The bruschetta was very tasty. The ambiance is lovely, of course. However, you should bring a jacket if it's windy, as it can get quite chilly right by the lake. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. From taking our drink and food orders to paying after we finished eating, we constantly had to call the server over. No one thought to ask if we were ready or if we wanted another drink. Our second round of drinks never arrived, so we got up and paid.

08/07/2026: Very good pizza, decent french fries. Came back multiple times and the food was great. Staff is nice and friendly, great service. Best pizza I have gotten in Italy. Overall I would highly recommend.
07/07/2026: The food was delicious and the portions were just right. The price-performance ratio is definitely excellent. They are also very child-friendly :) We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back.

08/08/2026: We ate at this restaurant yesterday with five children. It was simply fantastic. The fresh sea bass was perfect, and the Angus filet was also delicious! The restaurant was also very suitable for families with children.
There's also a breathtaking view of the lake.
The only tiny criticism is the price. The restaurant isn't for every budget. The pizzas are an exception – their prices are perfectly reasonable.

02/08/2026: Decently good food, but out of place... You can't offer a North American buffalo steak in the upper Lake Como area.... Even if it's good.
Staff needs reviewing.... The second course arrived first, followed by the first course.

19/07/2026: I popped in for a moment and bought a few beautiful wines. Not cheap, but good value for money. Every bottle you buy from the display rack is neatly retrieved from a climate-controlled room.
19/07/2026: We come to Monti every time we are in Domaso. Food is wonderful, Paolo, Annalisa and the team couldn’t be more welcoming and the wine list is so SO good. Strongly recommend you go if in northern Como.

13/07/2026: The food was good, but we had to wait too long and the staff didn't know much about their work.
24/06/2026: The place has a very vacation feel, with its windows, small tables, and that sense of finished work. It feels like you've been transported straight to Rimini or somewhere nearby. As for the food, there are tons of awards for the pizza: that's why I ordered the sliced pizza. I'm kidding, of course. I split a pineapple and ham pizza, and it was like biting into a rainbow of flavors. Plus, despite being thin, the dough held together perfectly. The price is reasonable, the place is quite eclectic, and the staff is absolutely friendly. I don't think I need to say anything else.

05/05/2026: We were a group of eight and ate here. A particular highlight is the large parking lot directly across the street. The restaurant is right on the lake and has a seating area directly on the water as well as on the other side of the street. The waiter, Massimo, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food arrived very quickly. Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. You can tell that the kitchen really puts thought into creating something special. Whether pasta, fish, or meat, it was all excellent. In addition, we were also recommended a very good wine at a very fair price. Keep it up! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

The perch rice was unforgettable. I found the seitan a little bland, but the hummus was amazing!!

04/07/2026: We asked for a takeway pizza and they said they were to busy. The restaurant was basically empty. We went to the nice place across the street instead and when we passed by again the restaurant was still empty. Do not recommend
22/06/2026: What more can I say... I've never encountered such incompetence and lack of professional skill in a server before.
The rudeness knows no bounds, and if you don't order exactly as the staff requests, you're treated like a third-class customer.
It's a shame that a single person can drag down an otherwise quite good restaurant like this.
I feel sorry for every single employee who has to work under this inferior manager.
If I were running this restaurant, I would get rid of this "professional" immediately to prevent further customer frustration and harassment.
Unfortunately, this restaurant is anything but recommendable.
Unfortunately, with the recommended group size, it's not possible to simply not list a group.
The highlight of the visit was the staff's rudeness and sheer incompetence.

11/06/2026: That was the worst €6 "insalata mista" I've had in Italy in a long time. It consisted almost entirely of red and white cabbage, a few carrots, and three slices of tomato... The ravioli, however, were delicious.
Apparently, they make the "aglio e olio" here without parsley. For me, it's essential.

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished.
The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere.
This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more!
We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

10/07/2025: Einfach immer herzlich und toll. Für Familien sehr angenehm und „preisangepasst“. Auch offen für glutenfreies Essen…
Großzügig im Nachschenken und freundlichst im Service. Dazu gutes heimisches Essen.
Für Gäste wie uns, die jährlich kommen, wäre vielleicht ein Alternativ Abend (was das Menü angeht) sehr schön.
