14/10/2025: Excellent food, generous portions. The location is worth it, the prices are also fair. The only problem is for those arriving by car (limited parking) but you can use the beautiful funicular.

19/10/2025: Rustic yet perfectly integrated into the historic center, with stone walls and wooden beams on the ceiling. A warm atmosphere. The cuisine features classic local dishes, from lake fish to risotto, mushrooms, quail, and stuffed pasta. I tried the quail and the Sforzato risotto. Both were delicious (especially the quail).

13/09/2025: Excellent restaurant. Reserved and intimate. Spectacular food. We had two appetizers of roast pheasant and quail, followed by a main course of ossobuco. Generous portions.

15/10/2025: Fabulous family run restaurant in a beautiful setting with stunning views over the lake. This was a 5-7 walk from the hotel where we stayed and was recommended by our hotel receptionist. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. We had the pistachio pasta and lasagne which was amazing. The caramel panacota was really tasty and the house wine was really good as well. Overall really enjoyed our meal.

13/10/2025: Bland pizzas, more dough than toppings... Annoyed staff... Terrace closed even though the weather was nice and warm outside... Very disappointed!!

23/09/2025: We were only there for dinner because our apartment was a two-minute walk away. The starter was already really good, and the main course topped it off. Very tasty food. The service staff spoke a little German, which was absolutely sufficient. We'd be happy to go back 😀

12/10/2025: There's no better place to enjoy typical local dishes. A welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, friendly and fast service, and top-notch dishes, starting with the appetizers of local cured meats and cheeses, moving on to the first courses (especially the risottos), the second courses, and concluding with the desserts (the ricotta and amaretto cake is sensational).

09/10/2025: An osteria that feels intimate, homey, with family warmth and a sense of the past: in the best sense of the word! I visited La Vignetta for dinner. The interior is reminiscent of an Alpine chalet, cozy and comfortable. Forget the ostentation of Milanese chic and fashion. Here, time stands still; there's no need to overeat to get the tables turned! Veronica and Paola (I hope I remember their names correctly), friendly, approachable, and welcoming, explain the menu to you, making you feel right at home: authentic, healthy, flavorful, and delicious food! They truly convey the idea that you want to feel good at La Vignetta! The food, it goes without saying, is excellent, spectacular. We tried two risottos: with bbq and with pumpkin and Zola, and we were absolutely delighted! The braised beef with polenta was sublime. And the bill: absolutely reasonable, excellent value for money! 12/10/2025: Its a nice restaurant. Have plenty of sitting. The services was quick and very friendly. The prices are a little high for Italy but they use the Swiss Frank. So that is to be expected.

04/10/2025: Ladies and gentlemen, this is a restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, BUT—we've never been served with such kindness and a smile as at Rialdo's! A team that loves their job and always makes you feel at ease. Always very attentive and kind. The food is fabulous! From pizza to pasta to fish...nothing to complain about. The prices are fabulous. They even have hours to eat until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays! Wow! Families can easily eat and afford it at the highest quality levels! No one like them. Well done, well done, well done!

14/09/2025: From firsthand experience, it's an excellent pizzeria, but friends have also raved about the food. The atmosphere is quiet and the service excellent. The prices are fair. Definitely a restaurant we'll return to.

19/09/2025: This restaurant is highly recommended! While others go for fancy or expensive, this one focuses on quality and authenticity. Make a reservation, though it might work without, depending on your luck. It's definitely worth it.

04/09/2025: We tried to get a table on our first evening without a reservation – there was virtually no chance of getting one, so we immediately made a reservation for the following evening – luckily! We received a warm welcome, even with a few words of German, which we were very pleased about, as we weren't expecting it. We had prosciutto crudo with melon for starters, and for main courses, we had one lasagna and one ravioli in sage butter with Parmesan – simply delicious. For dessert, I chose the fresh apple pie – it was still warm, a dream. All in all, we had a perfect evening at Il Vapore and can only recommend it to anyone visiting Menaggio. Thank you, mille!

12/10/2025: This is a great restaurant with an incredible location right next to the lake. The food is excellent and the lemon ravioli has deservedly been on the menu for 25 years. We had eaten here 15 years ago and were charmed by the friendly staff and great location; this visit was equally wonderful.

07/10/2025: We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. We went the day before to put a reservation in (you cannot walk in - you must have a reservation). Being right on the water is a great way to spend dinner. It was peaceful and a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite. Definitely recommend getting to the restaurant if you are in Sala Comacina.

A place with attention to every detail, everything to ensure a truly dreamlike experience for those who come. Welcoming you with kindness and smiles, the staff is truly impeccable and helpful. The food caresses the palate with a refined taste that enhances the flavors while maintaining the authenticity of the product. The dishes reach the eye first, never disappointing the palate. Attention to the small details makes all the difference. What can I say? It can't be explained in words. The emotion you feel when you arrive and admire the location continues with the flavors that delight the mind and palate. I recommend it for a truly 360° experience. The breathtaking view of Lake Como leaves you speechless. The name is spot on. The window on the Lake. Congratulations to all the staff.

14/10/2025: Excellent venue for elopement weddings !

13/10/2025: This was a once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experience. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a Suite as it was our honeymoon. The concierge team warmly welcomed us, and when we opened our room door, they had our wedding song playing, accompanied by champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, sweets, a framed picture of us, and hand-written notes. It was the most thoughtful gesture. The staff goes ABOVE and BEYOND every moment the stay and it is truly extraordinary. Every minute we spent at the hotel was heaven. The suite, view, amenities, pools, spa, gardens, etc were absolutely stunning, luxe, and we couldn't get enough. Everything was personalized and we felt extremely well cared for. We had an OUTSTANDING dinner (tip: get the risotto and beef wellington!) and the most incredible breakfast buffet we had ever seen. Our server, Diogo, blew us away with his elegance, knowledge and care - he made our dining experiences magical. We are so grateful to our travel advisor, Mo and the hotel team - we are counting the days down until we can come back to the GHT!!! N&S

27/09/2025: Such a fun and friendly atmosphere bar/restaurant. Loved the decoration, the friendly staff, and most of all the food and drinks! We had lasagna, and 2 different fried pizzas! The field pizza with potatoes in the filling and pesto topping had a bit too much cheese in the filling, for my personal the taste. Other than that it was delicious. I also had the water kefir! What a fun surprise they made their own, I had the mint one. It had a very light refreshing and sweet taste!
