08/12/2025: Maybe you should let them know you're closed so you don't waste time parking and come for nothing..... given your response... too much effort to indicate on Google that you're closed... given that it says you open at 7pm??... well I see that the genius of Monday managed to change the opening hours after my very poor review even though I was on holiday... well done, you see it wasn't difficult

23/10/2025: I wasn't familiar with the place, but after seeing the reviews and photos, I trusted them and gave them a voucher for a dinner for two with the five-course tasting menu. The menu seemed very unique to me (things you don't eat every day and might not like), but I have to say that yes, there are some unusual dishes, but the flavors are super delicate, and they explain each course in detail. With five courses, we were super full, and finally, they gave us a complimentary small pastry and a souvenir card with the menu we chose. The food was excellent, the staff was very kind and attentive, and the place is beautiful both inside and out. A cutting-edge place, highly recommended, congratulations. I'll definitely be back 😊

09/12/2025: Today we had lunch at this beautiful location, even accepting us at 3:00 PM. The staff were courteous and friendly, the location magnificent, and the menu simple but very tasty, with exceptional ingredients! Excellent lunch by the lake, we recommend it to everyone!

21/10/2025: Beautiful location and AMAZING food, but please play ITALIAN MUSIC! 🙂 No one wants to be in Lake Como looking at the beautiful sights and listening to Miley Cyrus! Haha! We stayed at an Airbnb near by and this restaurant was the best thing about the Airbnb!! We went twice. Hope to be back again someday!

15/10/2025: Fabulous family run restaurant in a beautiful setting with stunning views over the lake. This was a 5-7 walk from the hotel where we stayed and was recommended by our hotel receptionist. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. We had the pistachio pasta and lasagne which was amazing. The caramel panacota was really tasty and the house wine was really good as well. Overall really enjoyed our meal.

18/11/2025: We ordered the crispy pizza while passing by, which was very good. The desserts were delicious. The atmosphere was simple but very refined. Ample parking.

The bill was 81 and they charged 86, not because of the extra 5 francs, but that's absolutely not done, because if a customer wants to leave a tip, they leave one. But that's stealing. Making fun of things is not okay. The service leaves much to be desired and isn't the best.

23/11/2025: Quiet little place, with a terrace in the summer. The food is excellent, the portions are adequate and you don't have to wait long for them. The staff and service are great, I've been to such an excellent place in a long time! The atmosphere is family-friendly, a real Italian atmosphere! I recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my heart!!

25/11/2025: This was a decent place to stop by for dinner and drinks with a convenient location. We enjoyed the appertivo and drink taste and presentation! Our pasta was presented beautifully, but we were a little disappointed to find it wasn't homemade; just the sauce was. This was different than the other reviews I see on here raving about the pasta. You can tell by the photos that the pasta is different! Service was generally good there were a few different staff that waited on us throughout our time there so we didn't get a chance to connect with anyone in particular. The dog was friendly!

23/09/2025: We were only there for dinner because our apartment was a two-minute walk away. The starter was already really good, and the main course topped it off. Very tasty food. The service staff spoke a little German, which was absolutely sufficient. We'd be happy to go back 😀

The atmosphere and view are obviously splendid, but what truly makes this place special is everything beyond the view. The staff is attentive, always smiling, and welcoming—they make you feel immediately at ease. The food was extraordinary from start to finish: appetizer, first course, second course, and even desserts, all impeccable and bursting with flavor. You can truly taste the passion and care behind every dish. Honestly, if I could give more than five stars, I would without hesitation. Congratulations to everyone—truly excellent work. The atmosphere created by the family who run this restaurant and guesthouse is unlike anything else - the closest comparison would be a warm, welcoming, genuinely loving home. The location itself is absolutely magical, but it’s the way guests are looked after that turns a beautiful spot into a truly exceptional experience. The view alone would easily justify paying two or even three times more for both the meal and the stay - and then come the little surprises, like wild boar wandering just below the window. And of course, the food: the owner’s wife cooks with such skill and heart that every dish feels like a highlight in its own right. The service is wonderful, thoughtful, and sincerely caring. Just one piece of essential advice: if you’re arriving by car, follow the owner’s directions exactly. Do not rely on Google Maps - trust him, and you’ll get there safely and without stress. A magical stay. Highly recommended.

15/12/2025: I discovered Ristorante Capanna because I was looking for an authentic place to enjoy a good casseula. Once there, however, I discovered that they have a very interesting and inclusive menu (they offer vegan and gluten-free options). Their attention to detail is also evident in the quality of their service; the waiters are very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The quality of the food is excellent; the casseula did not disappoint my expectations ☺️ (it's my favorite dish, and I'm a somewhat picky customer when it comes to this dish 😅). The wine and dessert selection is also very extensive and can satisfy all palates. I highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back! See you next time 😉
