25/08/2024: A fantastic restaurant experience from start to finish. I booked a table 3 weeks in advance for a Tuesday evening and I am pleased I did as it was quite busy. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside - we opted for inside as there was a wedding taking place in the grounds of the hotel next door and the music was quite loud. Inside we had a lovely quiet table tucked away from any other diners. We were offered an aperitiv and snacks first which kicked the whole meal off in fine style! The chef’s welcome dish followed then we started on our 7 course tasting menu. Every dish was exceptional! We opted for that wine pairings which were presented by the sommelier who really knew his stuff - he even chatted to us about English wines. After the 7 courses we were then presented with 4 delicious ‘sweets’ which finished everything off. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Overall a wonderful meal which we won’t forget.

18/08/2024: We have purchased Gelato from La Fabbrica Del Gelato for years. This is a great local business with and excellent product and staff. The introduction of a food cart at Villa balbianello is a wonderful idea. So why have I not given this business 5 stars. Its because they use plastic spoons and straws which many customers throw onto the ground and they can end up in the lake. This will be a 5 star review when the business uses wooden spoons and paper straws that will decompose. Customers should also be more caring of the Lenno environment and put their rubbish in one of the many bins.

10/08/2024: The food is delicious and the service is very nice:) Our waiter was very kind and helpful with the menu, although he did get an order wrong.The staff was very nice to remake our pizza and not take money from us.The deserts we ordered were phenomenal.Great food, very great service!We will definitely be revisiting.

05/08/2024: After so many years, a dive into the past...same environment, same heat, same flavour, same immense pleasure! If you want to taste real Como cuisine, the best place is definitely this old-time tavern!

24/08/2024: We were warmly welcomed by the hotel manager Mauro and he kindly gave us another room (209) after which the lady at the reception checked us into another room. The 209 was a corner room with a mini view of the lake. The rooms are all very dark and have carpeted floors. For hygiene reasons I have to put a towel in front of my bed, even if that doesn't make much sense. I can agree with the 4 star reviews. Monika Stephan describes the situation in the bathroom perfectly. The small and bulky bathroom items in the windowsill are inconvenient. Why don't you put refillable dispensers in the bathroom? Soap is out. Kettle and Nespresso machine available in the room. In addition to the toilet, there is also a bidet. The TV didn't work, but we weren't there to watch TV either. We didn't even look at the wellness area. That sounded strange with the one-hour reservation. The service in general was very good and we found dinner in the restaurant to be okay, but too expensive. The plates had fingerprints. The sea bass was completely topped with lemon slices. There is still room for improvement. There were gluten-free rolls with the salad. Thank you! We stayed for 2 nights and would always recommend the hotel as a starting point for excursions around Lake Lugano and Balcone D'Italia if you like it quiet in the evening. From here you start perfectly to Lugano (we only drove through) towards Grandria (definitely stop and eat there) and Porlezza (next stop for ice cream and espresso) back down around the lake. A great day trip. We just strolled briefly through Campione. We didn't visit the casino. There is a public beach near the hotel. You should read the story of Campione on Wikipedia. This little enclave is interesting and so are the names on the doorbells. The people who live there should put more effort into taking care of their place. Weeds everywhere and the properties are gradually falling into disrepair. I would have liked to know more about this small, mysterious country. We wish Mauro and his team all the best. It is definitely a challenge to run a hotel in this increasingly comfortable environment.

24/08/2024: Beautiful hotel amazing view from our room. In arrive Ashley was so helpful in fact that helpful she upgraded my wife and I to a suite with an incredible view of the lake it was amazing! Francesca was another wonderful worker at the hotel! She was so so helpful and very very respect and polite! Oh and how could I forget the great service from Chamry a lovely lady who was so so attentive for my wife and I! All three lady’s were great and deserve a bonus! People like this are hard to find these days they were fantastic! Besides the fantastic service the hotel its self is amazing ! Be sure to visit guys :) :)

02/08/2024: Simple country food, very rich, not typical for those who like light food. And mostly meat from wild animals. For typical locals.

05/08/2024: Excellent find. Best pizza we had during our stay in Como. Very friendly staff and the food was awesome. Probably the best value for money we found in Como.

20/08/2024: Best pizza in the area, the real Neapolitan pizza, fair prices, impeccable service, super recommended if you want to eat the real Neapolitan pizza, impossible to leave the ledge. The desserts are also delicious. Everything perfect!

14/08/2024: Live review...I'd say the top Well-leavened dough, well cooked, crunchy, strictly with bubbles... when it is good even cold it means that it is not of quality... it is of superior quality. Careful ingredients, of excellent caliber and well blended. The service? Courteous, welcoming, very nice. The queen of pizzas

21/08/2024: An excellent culinary experience, cradled by excellent service, very attentive and well looked after in every detail. The Sardinian chef and the Sicilian sous chef bring their tradition to expertly prepared dishes of the highest quality and goodness. Nice to know that just a stone's throw from Lugano you can have this fine dining experience. Thanks to all the staff.

03/08/2024: Arrivati all'hotel Parco San Marco, alla reception siamo stati accolti con tanta gentilezza e con dei sorrisi sinceri. Siamo stati subito accompagnati al ristorante La Musa, dove anche lì siamo stati accolti con altrettanta gentilezza. Abbiamo scelto il percorso degustazione da 12 portate. Una vera meraviglia!! Ogni piatto era delizioso e sorprendente! Non una cena... una vera esperienza!! Gusti ed emozioni! Il servizio è stato perfetto! Servito e spiegato in modo impeccabile da uno staff super preparato, attento e molto simpatico! Ci siamo sentiti cioccolati da tutti in ogni momento. Inoltre abbiamo avuto la fortuna di godere di una bellissima serata e sulla terrazza c'era un'atmosfera magica! E anche il prezzo è stato perfettamente coerente. Quindi che dire... da ripetere e da consigliare!!!! Grazie a tutte e tutti!! E veramente ancora complimenti!!!

02/07/2024: Pleasant discovery for a quiet dinner. I ended up there by chance the first time for a birthday and then I came back, starters and main courses of excellent quality meat and fish. Nice atmosphere, great service, kind and friendly staff. I will definitely come back to try the pizza.
