I'd go back in a heartbeat! I didn't book, so I can only speak about the food. Everything was excellent, the staff was super friendly, and the location was very well-maintained.

Great place! We stayed here last minute while passing through. We were with our daughters (4 months and 3 years old) and the room was perfect; clean and spacious. We received a super friendly welcome. The food was delicious. We would definitely come back here again!

Amazing place to stay. We were visiting Milan and stayed here. The best part is the worker (not sure he is the owner). Such a kind hospitable guy. Highly recommend this place to stay.

I must say that any comment here is superfluous. Alex is always impeccable as a host, cook, and guide. My caxouela was sublime... equal to the ancient tradition... even those who haven't made this choice have nothing but excellent comments!

On Saturday, I had lunch at this trattoria for the first time. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food, beautifully served, especially the cazzuola, which was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this trattoria.

When the Menu Takes Center Stage
I've been involved in the wedding world for years: I work with banquet catering for large events, I've worked for two well-established wedding planners in my region, and an event planner. Despite my professional involvement, nothing compares to the thrill of experiencing it firsthand: it's my brother's wedding, it's a unique event that can't be repeated. I want everything to be perfect for this special day.
And that's where Carlito's comes in: a rustic trattoria that feels like home. Alex is friendly and helpful; he describes the menu and lets the words describe the dishes, immediately
giving tangible taste sensations.
On the day of the reception, I arrive early to set up. I meet the mother, friendly and helpful; together, we shape the room, mindful of the limited time.
After the ceremony, the welcome remains familiar and sincere.
And here comes the star: the menu. What is narrated becomes real flavor. Appetizers of cured meats and cheeses, torta fritta (fried gnocchi), and a giardiniera prepared by Alex were remarkable. First courses:
Tortelli di Ricotta ed Erbetta, a thin pasta dish with a bold flavor; seconds are almost obligatory, with the sauce mopped up and mopped up. Next up is Risotto al Gotturno with Parmesan Fondue—you have to visit Alex to try it; there are no words to describe it. For the main course, a Veal Reale with a side of baked potatoes, which melts in your mouth. Fruit and desserts, including sbrisolona and cantucci, round off a memorable food and wine journey.
Carlito's also offers rooms: I recommend taking advantage of them, because this gastronomic journey can only be accompanied by the excellent still and sparkling wines from the well-stocked cellar. At Alex's suggestion, we dined with an excellent Vigna Fracia Valtellina Superiore DOC Valgella,
2019 vintage.

Camilla, who looked after us so attentively, never letting our glasses go empty.

A surprising encounter in a small village gem: we stumbled upon this little trattoria with authentic flavors, and it was definitely a fantastic discovery!
The friendly and knowledgeable owner graciously entertained us, taking us on a journey through authentic, home-cooked flavors: fantastic torta fritta and Piacenza cured meats, amazing homemade tagliatelle with ragù, sublime herb ravioli. And one of the best tiramisu we've ever had! We truly enjoyed our meal and left feeling a little happier. Thank you!
Definitely recommended! Maybe make a reservation, as seats are limited and go quickly! 😆
