As luck would have it, after visiting Villa Fogazzaro we called the Crotto to ask if there was room for four 😽 ...it was after 1:00 PM, so we weren't expecting much, but fate would have it that, due to a last-minute cancellation, we ended up here.
Congratulations on the food, the service, and the bucolic location.
You deserve a 5⭐ and we'll definitely be back to enjoy a few kilos of meat 😸

We had lunch here, and the experience was truly excellent in every way. The location is very well-maintained and pleasant, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment. The food was excellent, with well-prepared, high-quality dishes, and the service was attentive, friendly, and professional.
A place definitely worth a visit: we'll definitely be back!

We ate at Crotto del Lago, and the first thing that strikes you, besides the beautiful view of the lake, is the selection of meats: truly insane, with incredible cuts of the highest quality. It's one of those places where, yes, they charge a premium, because the prices aren't cheap... but when the food arrives, you immediately understand why. The meat is excellent, carefully prepared and cooked to perfection. At the same time, they have a very extensive menu, with options that allow you to stay within a more moderate price range without sacrificing good food. Overall, a top-notch experience for meat lovers who want to enjoy something special with a fantastic meal.

A lovely lakeside spot, just steps from Porlezza and Lugano. We chose this place for dinner with friends and we didn't regret it. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were all delicious! I highly recommend it.
