We visited the Passion restaurant in Como and the food is truly fantastic! Everything is super fresh – they cut the cold cuts on site and pack them into crispy rolls or sandwiches right before your eyes, and the portion of mortadella and greens is impressive! The flavor is absolutely amazing.
The only downside, which is why I'm taking one star off, is the ordering process. There's only one computer (kiosk) inside, where you place your entire order and then pay at the cash register. People spend a long time considering their ingredient choices, resulting in unnecessary lines.
Nevertheless, it's worth being patient for such delicious food!

22/05/2026: We stopped in here after my mother injured her knee and was unable to walk far, and saw how close this was to our hotel. I can't believe we didn't come here sooner! Tucked away on a side street, the owners are the absolute sweetest and everything is homemade. The food was delicious, and the Tirimisu was truly the best I'd had in a long time - plus it was made by the owner's daughter! As an Italian, I can confidently say do not skip this place on your visit to Como.

Finished off perfectly with a stunning home made tiramisu, wow!

16/05/2026: Excelent food. The steaks are here in focus with the open grill cooking in the centre of restaurant and the attention for presenting the meet, including a selection of salts that real has a huge impact on the taste.
Also very friendly staff that, even while not speaking very good English, tired their best to be communicative and offer all the explanations and answers requested.
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere
12/05/2026: We traveled all the way from Veneto to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant, and it was a perfect choice. The service was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The wine list is extensive and well-chosen, but the real highlight is undoubtedly the quality of the meats, which are truly exceptional. The kangaroo tartare was extraordinary, while the Florentine steak literally melted in your mouth. We had a wonderful evening, made even more enjoyable by the owner and his staff's kindness. Highly recommended!

09/06/2026: From the outside, the place might look unassuming, but it truly is the best pizza I've ever had. It's always worth getting/eating pizza there. Excellent prices and a great selection. Such an incredibly warm and friendly family business, and truly Italian!!! Definitely give it a try!

14/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at Minimalismo! Don't hesitate to step inside; it's a hidden gem.
The cocktails are simply excellent, perfectly balanced, and generous. The owner is passionate and takes the time to chat, offer advice, and even recommend great places to eat, far from the often overpriced tourist traps in Como.
The prices are more than reasonable considering the quality and generous portions of the cocktails. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again for this fantastic experience!

22/05/2026: A great find if you are looking for somewhere authentic. They have a brilliant selection of local craft beers, and the whole place has a wonderful, relaxed vibe. It feels like a proper neighborhood spot where the locals actually go, completely away from the usual tourist traps.
The hospitality is top-class and the drinks are excellent. Well worth a look!
