28/03/2026: An absolute gem. After a week of traveling and dining at some rather pretentious spots, Risto Bar was exactly the breath of fresh air our family was looking for. The food is honest, simple, and delicious. You get incredibly quick service, very fair prices, and a fantastic view of the lake while you eat. Highly recommend if you want a great, no-fuss meal!

01/10/2025: My girlfriend and I were really looking forward to this restaurant – unfortunately, we were disappointed. The ambiance is beautiful and very stylish, a definite 10/10 for that. However, the food and service couldn't keep up. We had the feeling that you only get full attention if you order an expensive bottle of wine. I only had one glass of wine, which remained empty for a long time – only after I had to call the waiter did I get a new one, even though he saw several times as he walked past that my glass was empty. About the food: The prices are disproportionate to the quality. My bread with burrata was completely burnt around the edges, which was very noticeable. The gnocchi were small, dry, and tasteless. I skipped dessert because I'd lost my appetite. Conclusion: The ambiance was great, but the food and service were a huge disappointment. I've eaten much better and much cheaper in Italy.

05/04/2026: Best restaurant in the Lake Como area, exceptional value. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is excellent. They have dishes you won't find anywhere else, like Michelin-starred food. The pizza is excellent too. Keep it up! We'll be back soon!

06/04/2026: An interesting surprise during the Easter holidays. A spacious and pleasant place, with elegant table linens. The dishes are refined, aesthetically pleasing, and the ingredients are of excellent quality. The desserts are excellent, and the wine list is good. More attention to service.

12/04/2026: As soon as we arrived, my friends and I were treated with great haste and without much consideration. I can understand that it is a place with this mood (very spartan pub) but I didn't like it at all. For the rest, I have to say that there was a great selection of beers.

04/01/2026: The appetizer arrived after the main courses. The children's menu was without sauce; we had to ask for it several times. The beef tagliata was well done, even though we'd asked for it rare. We asked for a small plate for our one-year-old, but it never arrived. Our table wasn't cleared, so after a bit of a wait, we left without consuming anything else.

28/12/2025: A rustic, old-fashioned location with small, cozy rooms, it's not a fancy place! All this is set in a beautiful old farmhouse. The food is good, but if you're vegetarian or vegan, it's not the place for you. The service is good and the journey is "typical."

07/04/2026: Good cuisine, fresh food, very friendly staff; we added a wine tasting with each dish, paid separately, as described on the menu. A lovely experience. We'll be back to try the pizza.

06/04/2026: The owner welcomes you as if you were dear relatives visiting her. You immediately feel at home. It's a very cute and unique place. The pizza is delicious, and the desserts are simply fantastic—they're something special. Discovered by chance, we'll definitely be back soon.

04/04/2026: With a view like this, just five minutes from Dongo, where we were staying, it's unmissable. We booked for lunch and shared an appetizer of bresaola and sciatt, pizzoccheri, braised beef with polenta, and ice cream with warm berries. Excellent value.

06/01/2026: We went here on a Sunday for lunch. The food is fabulous; the dishes are hot, filling, and tasty. The menu offers a variety of traditional Valtellina dishes. The service was excellent; the owner personally comes to introduce and recommend the appetizers and various dishes (he was very kind). The atmosphere is large and welcoming, with the perfect temperature. The price is very fair for everything you eat, and the portions are generous. Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

22/02/2026: My wife, I, and our little girl had lunch at Elvis's today, and there's a family atmosphere here. It feels like home: the staff are friendly, welcoming, professional, and excellent, well-cooked and beautifully presented dishes. I also emphasize the honesty with a capital H. In fact, due to a typo on the receipt, we paid for the wine twice without realizing it. We left, and shortly afterward they followed us to refund the extra amount we paid. A gesture not common among us, and not to be taken for granted. WELL DONE! Finally, a shout-out to Jonny, who is super professional, friendly, and helpful! Wonderful place, we'll be back.
