13/09/2025: Devastating.... And thank goodness we had booked!!! Being stuck at a table for a 30-minute meal and burning half a day to dedicate to the classic day trip for about 3 and a half hours that we would have otherwise dedicated to the wonders of the surrounding area (those that are worthy of attention), I could start with the sparkling white wine to pair with fish-based dishes that I would not have appreciated even with a dessert (perhaps recycled sparkling wine????) and then continue with the small portions, or the temperatures at which they were served (some at room temperature) therefore incomprehensible waiting times even if the food was otherwise normal, after a forced rush to the service around 4:00 pm we finished the "LUNCH" at 4:30 pm and therefore from about 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm we practically had to give up the afternoon we had planned for a very simple (elsewhere) first and second course..... I will only add that I give one star otherwise they won't publish the review but I think a zero is more appropriate

07/09/2025: What a surprise to find this little place in the middle of the Viterbo countryside! On Via Tiberina, a simple sign reads "Bar Pizzeria Ristorante." The atmosphere is simple and tidy, suggesting cleanliness, as is the bathroom (there's even a baby changing table). It fully confirms this 🌟⭐🌟 The staff is discreet, fast, and professional; they even made a change to the menu to suit my tastes (I don't like shellfish). We had three fish main courses, salad, fries, coffee, and dessert— everything was excellent and truly filling! Thank you so much, we'll be back soon to try your pizzas!

04/10/2025: Extremely good pizza, with a crispy base and soft, fluffy dough. Super digestible and with so many flavors to choose from, each one better than the last. Friendly and courteous staff. Try it and believe it!

25/04/2025: I went to the Bistrot in Viterbo and left really satisfied! I ate very well: every dish, from the first course to the dessert, was studied in detail and rich in flavour. The dishes were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The service was impeccable: courteous, attentive and professional staff. An experience that I highly recommend to those looking for high-level cuisine in a welcoming environment.

05/09/2025: Unfortunately, something has changed, definitely the pizza chef. The "lungissimi" (long pizzas) are no longer "lungissimi" (long pizzas), they're very short, they've become half as long and shrunk by two-thirds. Before, you struggled to finish one, now if you eat two, you're still missing something. The "lungissimi" (long pizza) arrived very short, and the pizza arrived with holes, burnt, and thin as tissue paper. However, if Dante was a given before, now he's a disappointment. After politely asking when the pizzas would arrive, since we'd been waiting for 50 minutes and they'd already served the people seated after us, he responded in a somewhat surly manner, annoyed. It's not my habit to write unpleasant reviews, but I try to do them logically and constructively, not just for the sake of saying negative things. When you're a customer and you feel badly treated, it's right to express your opinion. This is definitely just my opinion, plus the value for money is absurd. The quality definitely wasn't there at the time, and the price was €39 for two pizzas and a bottle of water—you be the judge! Try it and believe it!

11/10/2025: A restaurant outside Viterbo in the spa area. The menu was standard, nothing too typical. However, the dishes we ordered were very good. Prices were medium to high. Service was fast and accurate.

11/10/2025: • Viterbo-style trattoria located near the thermal baths, with a menu that ranges from local dishes to more generic options. Honestly, I expected a more authentic selection, rooted in local traditions. • We ordered pumpkin-filled ravioli with butter and sage and rabbit cacciatore: good, but nothing special. • The service was quick and accurate.

15/09/2025: Le Contrade is an excellent restaurant and the owner Debora is a super woman who managed to make an 18-year-old girl's dream a reality.....thank you thank you thank you....keep it up....your dishes are excellent.

14/09/2025: From the outside, the place is very beautiful. It's practically the front of a church. Inside, it's a bit anonymous, but elegant and comfortable. A good interior designer could improve it further, making it truly feel like a church, as I've actually seen done in a pub in Dublin. The chairs are especially comfortable, although they aren't guaranteed to be. On a Saturday, the noise inside the place, packed with young people, is certainly not quiet, but you can still chat without difficulty. The pizza is very good, and the dough is easy to digest. The beer, too. Special touches. I ordered the Monasta. The prices are in line. I honestly didn't understand the supplì; inside, it looked like a croquette, but on the outside, it was a bit too hard—different from the usual. The staff is young, friendly, and fast.

14/09/2025: I go there often and it's always a confirmation! The burgers are top notch, it makes my mouth water every time I think about it.

17/08/2025: Always high-quality ingredients combined in an excellent way. I recently had an ice cream after not being in the city for years, and the taste hasn't changed; on the contrary...the flavors are still authentic. The pastry shop's desserts are equally delicious. You can't go wrong stopping by here for a sweet treat!

18/07/2025: Blackberry semifreddo cake is simply amazing! The photo doesn't do justice to the deliciousness. We think Polozzi Pastry Shop is the best in town.

11/09/2025: A charming rustic-style restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The dishes are impeccably prepared. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

23/04/2025: Unique room created from a period building with enormous fireplace, convivial tables, few seats. There is therefore intimacy and the proposal with local foods, mostly self-produced, is refined and excellently executed. It remains possible to socialize with Anna and Marco who are more than happy to explain the courses and more, but also linger to share wine and chat with the diners. A rare possibility in modern catering, at least in cities. Considering the care and rarity of the proposal, the prices are correct.

13/07/2025: Fantastic location, right in the historic center of Orte. A magical place steeped in history. It feels like time stands still when you enjoy a wonderful pinsa like few in Italy can make. Not too thick, well cooked, and beautifully seasoned. Completing the magic are the courtesy and kindness of the staff, who, in a surprising way, demonstrate all the education that so many lack and would need.

07/09/2025: We ate at La Francigena Bolsena because of the good reviews. All guests were greeted with disrespect by the very bad-tempered waitress. At first, we thought the waitress was only being like that to us, but as the evening progressed, we realized that she treated everyone else badly. The restaurant is actually beautifully located in an alleyway with a great atmosphere. The menu, drinks, salt, pepper, and food were slammed onto the table without the waitress even looking at us. At the next table, an Italian tried to get vinegar for his salad, but the waitress simply ignored him. The food is at the level of a chip shop, and the pizza is one of the worst in all of Bolsena. I don't understand the positive reviews. My recommendation: go somewhere else.

01/10/2025: A wonderful place that I've been frequenting for years now when I can... immersed in a wonderful forest, it's absolutely relaxing and the food is always excellent.

21/09/2025: Beautiful location in the Vetralla countryside. The pizza was huge and delicious, and the bill was exceptional.
