Typical cuisine in a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere.
We had the pleasure of discovering this place for a Sunday lunch. The menu features typical local dishes at moderate prices. I tried the crostini with Taleggio cheese and chicory as an appetizer, followed by the sliced steak with rosemary and Parmesan cheese. The meat was delicious. I was a little less satisfied with the cooking: I had asked for it to be medium rare, but it arrived well done. Regardless, it was still tender and tasty.
To finish the meal, biscotti and coffee.
One of our guests ordered smoked durum wheat spirals with ragù as a first course... I must say, they were exceptional! A special mention also goes to the chocolate cake.
The service was fairly quick, but I expected a little more warmth and attention to the customer.
A very charming place with predominantly wooden furnishings and rustic, chic elements. The lanterns hanging from the ceiling are lovely!
We hope to return.

We were recommended by the owner of B&B Viterbo Antica, Patrizia and Gianluca, and we had a wonderful meal—unique and truly excellent dishes.

Overall, an excellent lunch, definitely five-star. Between appetizers (mixed platters and bruschetta with bacon and cheese), first courses (various pappardelle, strozzapreti, fusilli, all homemade), and desserts (pies and tozzetti), you won't leave the table empty-handed. I haven't tried the main courses, but I'll be back for those. The pasta dishes were excellent, and the appetizer platters were even better (the bruschetta was delicious, and the jams included with the platter were amazing on bread). The desserts were so-so: I was told the tozzetti were good and flavorful, but the sour cherry tart was a bit dry, hard, and perhaps not even had much jam. The bathroom was tiny, but the restaurant was warm and welcoming. Parking nearby was free. We paid €40 per person, including a bottle of wine and a few glasses. Overall

The fresh mushrooms (aovoli and porcini) are excellent when available! The food is generally very high quality, and the service is attentive. A must when I go mushroom hunting on Lake Vico! EDIT 2026 confirmed!

A unique location with a cellar full of wines from all over Italy. Friendly and fast service. We had the pappardelle with woodcock, which were delicate and delicious. We also had the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection. We were very satisfied. Recommended.
