Among the restaurants housed in characteristic country farmhouses, I'd give Cavaliere a spot on the podium.
Welcome to the owner's courtesy and friendliness, we begin with a superb platter of cured meats accompanied by classic gnocco fritto and erbazzone bites. Next up are two first-class first courses: tagliatelle and truffle risotto, followed by the tender tagliata, cooked to perfection.
We conclude with a refreshing tiramisu, a culinary experience we hope to repeat soon.

Amazing food. Really. I swear! I've been here 3 times in a year and every time it's a pleasure and I'm greeted with smiles 😍 Super polite staff and a small location (not a limitation, considering it's an osteria). A hidden gem that I didn't know existed even though I'm from around here.

The place is very good, a tavern with slightly higher prices but with cured meats of their own production and all local ingredients. The only flaw is the fact that the second courses are made to be taken after the first courses and not as main courses, for this reason they are slightly sparse.

Dining at "Al Cavaliere" is always a family experience, built on a close relationship with the manager, Paolo. He's attentive and present at every table with the kindness and friendliness that make everyone feel welcome and important. The dishes are always top-notch. Highly recommended.
