03/11/2025: The location is very well-maintained, although given its rural setting, I found the furnishings to be very cold and out of step with the exterior. The lights were too low. The owners didn't welcome you at the entrance; the service was prompt, but always very cold. The first negative was the lack of a tablecloth, and the wood grain on the plates, glasses, and cutlery didn't strike a chord with me. They immediately brought me a small menu for the paid aperitif... in a Michelin-starred restaurant, you expect a complimentary welcome glass! Another negative was the fixed menu... if someone chooses the (fixed) fish menu, everyone else at the table must also eat fish. Secondly, something important for me as a sommelier, the wine list is only available on a tablet, and is sorted alphabetically by producer, grape variety, and country... I would have preferred it to be sorted by geographical area. I'm looking for a Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire... it's not there, only three Chenin Blancs from the Loire... I'm looking at Alto Adige, only seven still whites, not a Pinot Blanc... I could go on, because the cellar doesn't have the depth you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Fish dishes: in my opinion, fish has never been the star because the dishes were dominated by an excess of vegetables—prominently spectacular, but often overdone. At the end of the dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, the chef should come out and introduce himself to the guests, perhaps explaining the dishes. Tastes are entirely personal; I certainly found the menu to be sophisticated, but I had built up expectations and was a bit disappointed.

02/11/2025: Ca' Matilde was a fantastic journey through flavors, ingredients, attention to detail, friendliness, and impeccable craftsmanship. I highly recommend this experience, and I hope to return.

16/11/2025: We spent a weekend here. What can I say? Everything was magnificent. The farmhouse was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were spotless and very welcoming. The staff were wonderful, especially the owner Massimo, who was incredibly kind! As for the food, what can I say... TOP!!!!

16/11/2025: Agriturismo San Giuseppe offers its guests excellent service, a highly valued human and professional approach. Large rooms, a restaurant with excellent cuisine, and a good wine list. A generous breakfast is served. Furthermore, the family-run management allows for high-level personalized service. You will be pampered throughout your stay. An experience to be repeated. Thanks to all the staff.

01/11/2025: A classic trattoria in the Reggio Emilia Apennines... in some ways still stuck in the past, but I think that's its strength. Family-run, friendly, and VERY fast service. The portions are VERY generous, and the price is fair for what you get. I'll finish with the quality: excellent. You absolutely must try the cappellacci with wild boar ragù or the game. The only downside: it takes a while to get here, so be patient. RESERVATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL; they're never full!

03/11/2025: We got married in early October in the stunning setting of Pitigliano and the lush greenery of Agriturismo della Collina. The day was wonderful, even more beautiful than we had imagined. Riccardo and Alberto and their entire staff were truly talented, professional, and incredibly helpful, always ready to accommodate every request. Our guests had a wonderful time and everyone appreciated their exquisite cuisine. Thank you so much for making our day unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We ordered lamb and fried mushrooms for our main course, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Great prices. Highly recommended!
