30/12/2025: The fresh pasta shop "Come una volta" is one of the best in Bologna for traditional Bolognese first courses (tortellini, tortelloni, etc.) thanks to the quality of the ingredients, the service, and the skill of the pasta makers.

02/03/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Luna Rossa Restaurant. We started with bread with tomato, a goat cheese salad, and croquettes. Everything was spectacular. Then we moved on to the meat, and it was simply excellent. High quality, cooked to perfection, and with incredible flavor. The presentation was also beautiful. To finish, we tried several desserts: tiramisu, cheesecake, chocolate fondant, and panna cotta. Honestly, they were all delicious.

03/02/2026: A unique experience: I dined at this restaurant with a gluten-free menu and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Appetizer with cured meats and gluten-free gnocco fritto, then gorgonzola-filled tortelloni with caramelized pears, strictly homemade and also gluten-free... divine! I finished with a delicious pistachio parfait. All accompanied by water and a half bottle of Pignoletto. A wonderful surprise also came when it came to the bill: no extra charge for the gluten-free menu! Compliments to the service (the waitress and waiter were very friendly) and to the chef ❤️ For us celiacs, Italy would be a wonderful place if there were many more restaurants like La Capriata. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

15/02/2026: Family-run restaurant, excellent mutton, as well as cold cuts, I don't understand why they don't serve mineral water in a sealed bottle, even though we asked for it.

11/02/2026: It's one of the few restaurants that truly deserves the name "trattoria" due to its ambiance and the staff. Just steps from the town hall and the main square, you enter a family-friendly place, greeted by the owner. You're welcome even without a reservation, which is preferable. Four rooms prevent overcrowding. High-quality, traditional food—the friggione is excellent, the rice cake is fabulous, and the prices are reasonable. I wouldn't change a thing.

05/12/2025: Neapolitan-style pizza, but for me it was too chewy, even when hot. Maybe it was undercooked. I remembered it better, but despite everything, I digested it well.

30/11/2025: It's a shame that the dish isn't edible, but I've only eaten pizza like they do in Naples. I've only eaten a few. Compliments to the pizza chefs, who have the logo of the true pizza chefs, which is a symbol of quality and experience, and to the lady who is always very kind. I highly recommend it, truly from the heart.

03/01/2026: I spent more than one month learning about fresh pasta at Pasta Lab in Bologna with Ale and Lucia, and it was an amazing experience. I learned how to make a perfect sfoglia on my own for tagliatelle and stuffed pasta, how to prepare traditional Bolognese fillings and shapes like tortellini, tortelloni and lasagna, as well as classics such as ragù bolognese. I also loved learning some creative twists, like the bombette with curry (my favorite!). This experience is deeply connected to my Italian family roots in Peru and something I’m excited to bring back with me to Lima. Huge thanks to Ale and Lucia for their professionalism, generosity, and for always pushing me to improve, with empathy and lots of laughs. I 100% recommend Pasta Lab, is the best handmade fresh pasta in Bologna and the best place to take classes, whether for a day or for a longer stay.

17/02/2026: Very refined atmosphere, kind and friendly staff, delicious food, a wonderful discovery. We'd never been there before, even though we live close to the restaurant, but I think we'll be back. Congratulations, and highly recommended.

04/03/2026: A gem hidden in the streets of Bologna. One step into this place and you're transported back to 1960: the smell of coffee in the air, news-papers laying out, passersby playing the piano. The staff is welcoming and warm, always greeting with a smile. This was my favorite stop to go to during my months in Bologna, a chance to slow down, have a spritz or a coffee and soak in the sun. It's always sunny in Piazza San Francesco.

Update: Today, May 14, 2025, I had the great pleasure of eating mutton stew. A dish that will remain in my heart. 13/02/2026: Excellent pizza, they also do first courses and meat-based main courses. It's not a seafood restaurant. The service and atmosphere are friendly.

29/11/2025: Wonderful! We were greeted very kindly and with a sincere smile. The fried food was dry and excellent. The calzones were large and filled to the brim, all topped off by the hostess's great courtesy. We even had our dog, and they gave us a table just for us. Recommended, and we'll be sure to return soon.
