Pigro Mortadelleria In Bologna

Luca is the best host in Bologna.

Found out about this place from our Delicious Bologna tour guide, Mattia. The wine bar was actually open (apparently, it's hit and miss) when we walked by so we popped in for a glass of wine. No frills here, but a wonderful glass of sparkling wine - Franciacorta 61 from Berlucchi. Pigro looks like he's the lead singer in a grunge band, very approachable and gifted us a couple of key chains made from the wine corks.

Spectacular mortadella sandwich and gin and tonic. Excellent, authentic, and friendly place right in the city center. Highly recommended! (But be warned: there's no water, coffee, or restrooms.)

The most beautiful place in Bologna

Small restaurant on the side of one of Bologna's main squares. An incredible location, uncluttered and uncluttered, with a character few places possess. The host is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the appetizers are delicious, along with a selection of wines! I highly recommend it.

Just one word: experience!!! An absolute must-do!!!

If you go to Bologna you have to stop by, it's mandatory, fantastic sandwich and very good wine

Wow, what a beautiful day in Bologna! We were actually on our way to the train station to return to Florence. There wasn't much of interest to see in Bologna itself. So, quite by chance, we stumbled upon this little bar and received a very warm welcome. Gianluca is reserved yet friendly. We were treated like friends and enjoyed delicious drinks and interesting conversations in the small bar. The bar is a true oasis of calm, and we will definitely visit it again on our next trip to Bologna. Wow, what a beautiful day in Bologna!
