05/07/2026: The waiters are seriously undertrained in allergy-related matters, even though the restaurant offers vegan and gluten-free options. In addition to their lack of training, I would also recommend taking a course in good manners and proper customer relations, remembering that, even though it's a trattoria, we're not friends, but paying customers. All this is accompanied by a haughtiness that isn't even noticeable in Michelin-starred restaurants.
04/07/2026: A wonderful discovery, the food is excellent, the prices are fair, and there's a large garden where you can enjoy an aperitif and the kids can play. Highly recommended.

Finding a place in Bologna that offers such quality, with heartfelt, plant-based recipes, and guarantees maximum safety for celiacs with a certified gluten-free option is a dream for me. Highly recommended for everyone, vegans and non-vegans alike!

25/01/2026: An excellent experience, both in terms of food and service. The restaurant has been recently renovated and retains the dishes and flavors of the previous management, which were also of a high standard. Highly recommended.

04/06/2026: The food at Sherwood is really good, not just piadinas, but many other dishes. The meat is excellent (including sliced steak and burgers), and sometimes, on certain evenings, they also do paella. Excellent, I'd say. For lunch, they offer a good selection of first and second courses. If you leave your phone number, the menu with the day's specials will arrive every day! I often go there with my family. They also have a food truck that offers piadinas and burgers. The wait is minimal because they're always very fast!
04/06/2026: Fantastic experience! The piadinas were delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The staff was extremely welcoming, and the price/quality ratio was excellent.

22/06/2026: One star is more than enough for the service. Otherwise, there was a loose dog (belonged to one of the guests) in the restaurant... so weird that they allow such unhygienic behavior... the worst part was when the girl who was serving the food at the desk, came around then fed, touched and cuddled the dog then just went back behind the desk to her work and serve food again without even washing her hands or use any sanitizer... so unhealthy and improper attitude for a waitress in a restaurant.
I personally do not have any problem if pets are allowed in the restaurant, but they not be loose and the restaurant crew should not touch them! They must respect other guests who might be allergic to pets.
25/05/2026: Great little cafeteria with super friendly service. You sit right by the street, but it's still cozy.

15/07/2026: Excellent restaurant with an extensive gluten-free menu. I tried the charcuterie board with excellent homemade gluten-free bread, lasagna, and a zabaglione cake. Prices aren't cheap, but the quality is average to high!
13/07/2026: They offered every single pasta on the menu (including the stuffed pastas) as gluten free! It was so good I got two pastas. The sauces were fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend for celiac and non-celiacs. Their rating should be higher.

24/04/2026: I had higher expectations, but I have to say that the service was attentive and fast (even too fast, they seemed to be in a hurry). The fried crescentine were spectacular, not greasy, and flavorful. The cold cuts and pickles were below average. The grilled sausage was excellent, the rest was average, and the mutton was poor, thin and... a bit... stiff.
Superior dessert: the almond pudding was very good.
Price...adequate.
24/04/2026: A very, very tasty restaurant just outside Bologna! I recommend starting with their excellent cold cuts and crescentine (accompanied by the inevitable fried gnocco), finishing with the phenomenal fried cream. 😋 In between, choose what you like best... lasagna, tortellini, tagliatelle, garganelli, strettone, etc. You're truly spoiled for choice! Enjoy your digestion!
