08/09/2025: August 24, 2025. They don't hold tables for two or three people. If Sunday evenings are always like this, it's crowded and it's best to get there early. Good place: good pizza, good service, and the restrooms are well-maintained; although I don't seem to have noticed anything designed to accommodate disabled guests, even though they are accessible. Not a great variety of desserts, but I liked the pistachio semifreddo I had. The coffee was well-prepared; I only noticed a very slight trace of coffee in the cup.

10/07/2025: 1/3 Pizza was exceptional. The Marghe 2.0 with Fresh tomatoes from Agro Sarnese, creamy stracciatella from Puglia, confit tomatoes roasted by us, basil oil. This made our meal worthwhile. Other 2 were more bland.

15/08/2025: On our way back from Ferrara to Bologna, a friend and I were craving meat, but we had no idea where to go, especially since it was the eve of Ferragosto (August 15th). I searched for "meat restaurant in San Pietro in Casale," as it was halfway between the two locations. A list came up, and I chose this place. We arrived at 9:15 PM, asking, without too many expectations, if there was a table available. The young lady greeted us with a big smile and seated us immediately. We chose two fillets and other dishes. Well, the food was truly excellent. The meat was so tender we didn't even need a knife. The service was truly kind, cheerful, and helpful. The price was excellent! I would have already given it an excellent rating just for the way the young lady welcomed us, but the whole experience deserves praise. I'll be back!

28/08/2025: Passing through on a business trip. I ate very well, and for the price, it was excellent. First course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee were €14.00. At any restaurant for that price, you'd probably just eat the first course if you wanted. The staff was quick and friendly, despite the many tables being full. I felt at ease in this setting.

01/09/2025: Average portions. Good desserts. Very nice atmosphere. The menu is simple, so don't expect much. Furthermore, there are no vegetarian options unless requested several days in advance. This is a real shame. One last note: the wait for the food was an hour, which was a bit too long.

23/08/2025: I went with friends and had a great time with dishes that were different from the usual ones....the only thing I have to say is that after the first course we were left alone for a while and the second courses arrived cold.

13/09/2025: Needed some lunch between Bologna and Modena. Google search brought up this restaurant. An amazing find. Family restaurant. Great people. Great food. We speak very little Italian but the food turned out amazing anyway.

09/07/2025: Bologna cuisine is definitely something else! We're from Bologna, and everything is terrible. I'm sorry! I'm updating the review to respond. I think the slice of cold cuts we sent back with visibly moldy skin because it wasn't sliced ​​fresh speaks for itself. We didn't write about this episode earlier so as not to put you in an even worse light. The Bolognese cutlet doesn't drown in cream...then, if you want, I'll continue with the basket of stale bread.

Excellent quality of food and a willingness to understand and advise customers. Excellent staff: the owner is a very capable old farmer; his daughters are talented; and the young man is excellent. I'll leave aside the other waiter, who is neither polite nor capable. An experience worth trying and repeating. Well done.

11/08/2025: As usual, friendly and helpful, some dishes were simply perfect, seafood risotto, garganelli with speck and rocket, and I could mention others, I now feel at home with them.

25/08/2025: We ate very well, you can taste that everything is homemade. The only thing I have to point out is that in the restaurant the windows were all open, but there were no mosquito nets or protection of any kind. The result was that we were eaten by mosquitoes all evening and with the insects buzzing around the plate, it's a small precaution that makes a big difference.
