We were lucky to have received hospitality here: if there had been no room, we would have had to return home to Imola to prepare lunch, given that the restaurant where we had booked decided to stay closed at 12.45pm. extraordinarily, WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. We ate well, it was great on the veranda, I drank a glass of Sangiovese which I really liked: I really liked the Semifreddo Valsellustra. It made us go away from the irritation of seeing a lunch out of town disappear, WITHOUT warning.

27/08/2024: Absolutely delightful place with friendly staff with great sense of humour and perfect customer service. We’ve just had lunch there, filled with absolute delight of local flavours accompanied by stunning wines. We’ve had polenta in truffle sauce which I will definitely have to find a recipe for, linguini with ragù and some other pasta but I’m not sure which as I was so involved in mine I did not have time to look. The price for starters, mains, wines and coffee for 2 people: 80€ which I find very reasonable with the level of service and quality of food. Overall: if I’m close to Bologna I’ll definitely visit again. Ps. Btw they do have an adorable garden you can have your lunch in. It’s not on any pictures as they, quite rightly so, think it’s too hot to eat outside. I don’t mind though :) highly recommended.

22/08/2024: The route to get there is incredible and pure magic when you park here. Beauty in its purest form. Space for children to play with all the comforts. Ping pong table with its rackets and balls. Balls. A volleyball net. A trampoline. The pool for all ages. Hammocks in corners between fruit trees. A sauna and archery Sun loungers. But you do even have a huge refrigerator available between the washing machine and the sinks. In addition, the detail of the scrubber, brush and dishwasher is a highlight. The restaurant has a loving decoration and the menu is magnificent 🫶🏽. They make a mint and ginger liqueur that I recommend. Postcard sunsets and what I like most...the eternal smell of lavender 🪻 and rosemary. Come and find out for yourself ☺️. And if you also like animals, it's already the most nova. A place to repeat. 21/08/2024: Il posto è incantevole, immerso nella campagna emiliana. La nostra camera era molto curata e pulita. Cena ottima (non inclusa nel prezzo). Colazione a pagamento, molto buona. Non siamo riusciti ad usare la piscina a causa del maltempo.

03/08/2024: If you want to take a sauna in the middle of August, this is the right place!! There's no way a restaurant in 2024 doesn't have air conditioning or rather doesn't want to turn it on!! And don't think you will find relief outside because being closed by plants the air was still and unbreathable in these days of scorching heat I would say to avoid. For this reason we only ordered an appetizer and left. Definitely average food. Nothing unforgettable. Ordered a bottle of prosecco and it arrived in an ice bucket but warm. We only managed to enjoy it properly cold at the end of the meal. Never again!!

14/07/2024: Sono andato con i miei genitori e la mia compagna per un pranzo. C'era un solo cameriere per tutta la sala il che ha povocato delle attese un po' lunghe. Il cibo è decisamente buono e di qualità, ma i prezzi sono troppo alti. In 4 abbiamo speso 193,50 € prendendo tra l'altro 3 primi in 4. Anche il prezzo dei coperti di 3 € a testa è troppo alto

27/08/2024: We stopped on the way home. Excellent experience, excellent roll with speck, they ran out of sautéed mushrooms but they suggested the boscaiola sauce as an alternative, perfect!!! Crispy French fries! The only thing that ruined lunch was a sudden downpour which made us eat in a hurry and half wet but you can't control the weather.

17/08/2024: The Piadinosauro in Imola is one of the places where I often eat piadina, the prices are honest and the quality of the products is very high, the piadinas are freshly prepared, therefore kneaded instantly, you can find a vast choice of piadinas, rolls, watercress and fried piada, you can also taste Ascoli olives, fried mozzarella and the inevitable chips🍟 I also wanted to point out that in some piadinerias, the piadina is folded in two, at Piadinosauro, however, the piadinas are two on top of each other, which is no small thing 😉. I returned with the new management, for the first time since I have been a customer, 14 years, for having taken the same things I paid more than €25, when previously I did not exceed €18. They didn't have bacon for the piadina, we opted for a roll, after paying, they called me telling me that they had run out of sautéed mushrooms, but in the end they still took 7.10 euros for the roll, plus the Ascoli olives that I had ordered, they turned out to be arancini, which I took back because I hadn't ordered them. In the end, two rolls, two beers and a portion of Ascoli olives, €25.70. Never paid a similar amount with Sauro, I repeat, never exceeded €18. For the record, after ordering the Ascoli olives, they were not included in my bill, as can be seen from the receipt. See you never again 👋🏻

30/07/2024: Dama's cakes have been a must at my and my relatives' birthday parties for years now: good, fresh and decorated in a simple but effective way. The aperitif is also more than satisfactory, both in terms of prices and quality. The only shame is that there is little space available under the porticoes, which makes it very difficult to find free chairs at peak times.

22/07/2024: I come from Bologna. It's a very beautiful place. Friendly service. I liked the husband and I loved it. Also an ice cream with good quality. Excellent value for money. You can be at the tables outside or inside. I liked the iced coffee; it's something that I don't see in Bologna. I recommend trying it. It's a place I will return to when I pass through Rome. It is important to say that they are PET FRIENDLY. Advised.

27/07/2024: Non ci siamo neanche seduti. Ore 22,35 cucina chiusa. Allora non mettete che si chiude alle 24. Dite almeno cucina chiusa dalle 22,30.

24/07/2024: Bel posto, accogliente, il personale è gentilissimo..... Peccato per la birra un po troppo calda per i miei gusti :) ma questo potrebbe essere come ho detto soggettivo. Però mi hanno messo un bicchiere in freezer per raffreddarlo :). Ai miei amici non è piaciuto molto il fatto di non avere un coperto (tovaglietta o tovaglia) ma anche questo è soggettivo e dipende da scelte del personale a cui non abbiamo indagato. Comunque il cibo è squisito, hanno una vasta gamma di amari e sono molto gentili. Buon pranzo o cena a tutti quelli che decidono di andare :) Noi ci andremo sicuramente!
