At the end of your visit to Rocchetta Mattei, you can't miss the Osteria della Rocca at lunchtime. You'll find an advertisement for the restaurant on your car, which Alessandra left for you... So go for lunch and you'll be surprised. Everyone is very kind...the dishes are delicious and there's a good selection of local products. Alessandra is very friendly and kind.

I really enjoyed this little restaurant in Rocca Pitigliana. The dishes were generous and flavorful. The porcini tortelli were excellent, as were the tagliata and friggione. A great place to escape the summer heat and enjoy a quality meal. Special mention to the very friendly and courteous waitresses. I'll be back soon.

Excellent food and impeccable service. The fillet was tough, and the owner didn't hesitate to send it back. I'd give it more than five stars if possible. Must try!

Alessandra and Marco are super friendly and welcoming. They were able to recommend an excellent menu. The homemade first courses are special, especially the chestnut flour tortelli and the truffle ones! 😋

After visiting Rocchetta Mattei, lured by the charming Alessandra, we headed to Osteria della Rocca, pleasantly surprised by the welcome and the excellent quality of the dishes offered by the owner Marco, who pays particular attention to showcasing local products (and their chemistry). Long live the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines! We'll definitely be back.

You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and in my opinion, that's what makes this gelato shop stand out from the rest. You'll find all the classic flavors, as well as many original new ones. 20/05/2026: Fantastic. It has everything and more. Gluten-free. A dream for a celiac. There are 1,000 dishes: vegetables, fried foods, first courses, salads, and rotisserie. Only everything gluten-free. Wow!
