This very presence recalls one of the most evocative chapters of Neapolitan tradition, also depicted in a painting on display in the restaurant: that of the famous "acqua delle mummare," the favorite drink of Neapolitans of old. Sourced from the springs of Monte Echia, this naturally carbonated mineral water, rich in iron, was sold by the historic "acquaioli," who attracted passersby with their characteristic dialect cry. A fragment of local history that the restaurant proudly preserves and contributes to making the experience even more engaging. Giancarlo, the face of the dining room, welcomes guests: kind, friendly, and deeply in love with his work. With genuine enthusiasm, he guided us through the restaurant, recounting the history of the building and the restaurant with sincere, yet never ostentatious, pride. Then, with great discretion, he let us enjoy lunch with the appropriate privacy, a quality increasingly rare today and therefore even more appreciated. The management is truly family-run. His wife, mother-in-law, and, when necessary, even his granddaughter work with skill in the kitchen: everything, therefore, is strictly family-run. And it is precisely this dimension that represents the restaurant's true added value. You can sense the harmony, passion, and dedication that only those who work together every day can convey in their dishes. The cuisine perfectly reflects this philosophy. A very nice restaurant in the Chiaia area. Giancarlo, the owner, was very kind and attentive to customer service. Excellent food, especially the pasta dishes, and fresh fish. Reasonable prices. Overall, I highly recommend it! There's also a private parking lot right next to the restaurant, but I recommend parking in the parking lot if available.
