For me, 'A marenna 'e Mamma' is one of those places. Indeed, it's the place where Neapolitan tradition comes back to life, even in a gluten-free version. As soon as you walk in the door, you realize that everything here is made with love. Nothing is artificial; there's true passion, the kind you feel in the gestures and in the smells wafting from the kitchen, that aroma that takes you back in time to family Sundays. We start with the appetizers, and right there you know you're in the right place. The savory pizzas, the rustici, the fried pizza, the arancini, the gattò, and so many other delights that taste like home. But the moment when everything stops is when the genovese arrives (this is just one of the options on the menu). Tradition in its purest form. And then the meatballs and the pork chop (another option on the menu), capable of bringing back a distant memory and making you say, "Here it is, this is the flavor I was looking for." Behind every dish are Veronica's expert hands, hands that cook as if they were preparing lunch for their own family. And then there's Peppe, who welcomes you like a long-awaited friend. He pampers you, tells you stories, makes you feel part of a big family. And just when you think you can't ask for more, dessert arrives: the Bounty spoon cake. An explosion of flavor, and it's there that you realize there's always room for happiness. The place is a little gem, every detail speaks of Naples and its history. But the truth is that A marenna 'e Mamma' is more than just a trattoria. It's a journey into the heart of tradition. 30/09/2025: The views from the roof top are beautiful. The food unfortunately was not the best. We tried the steak and it was not cooked all the way through, we asked if this could be done a little more, but due to waiting our chips went cold and when the steak came back it was awful. They literally reheated the steak and bought it back. Just don't have the steak.

20/10/2025: A small pizzeria in the heart of Piazza San Nazzaro, open practically all day. The pizza is excellent, made with quality ingredients and a light, easy-to-digest dough. The service is fast and friendly, and you can even watch the pizza chef at work behind the window—a nice touch that adds to the atmosphere and authenticity of the place. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, perfect for warmer evenings. As with the rest of the area, parking can be a bit tricky, but with a little patience (and maybe a few coins for the valet), you can always find a solution.

01/05/2025: Gita con amici per 4 giorni; trattoria scelta dopo aver consultato recensioni Tripadvisor. In un ambiente semplice, ci siamo trovati talmente bene che abbiamo pranzato e cenato solo lì per tutto il soggiorno, piatti molto buoni e prezzi eccellenti. Da segnalare spaghetti con gli scampi, polipo alla griglia, gnocchetti alla sorrentina, parmigiana di melanzane e pesce spada ai ferri. Apprezzabile la cordialità e disponibilità del personale, preparato anche a spiegare la preparazione di alcuni piatti. Consigliato!

30/09/2025: First, the positive: "We really enjoyed the food. One waitress struck me as very positive and friendly. Unfortunately, today was my last day. Otherwise, I would have come back. The waiter was quite impatient and dismissive, which really spoiled the evening. There are really such nice people here, and you always get along with each other with gestures. Well... Prices seem reasonable."
