L'Olivo Gourmet Restaurant In Anacapri

Wonderful experience Amazing tasting menu Excellent service from two young and talented people: Silvia and Manuele, the boyfriend, Silvia and Emanuele's future husband.

The service was good and atmosphere also, with the piano guy and singer playing nice live music. But the food really didn’t live up to the standard for a 2 star Michelin restaurant , and we paid 600€ per person for the tasting menu and wine pairing. Tasting menu didn’t even include meat. Le monzu was way better and cheaper.

We ended up at L'Olive because rain shut down Zuma on the rooftop. We were blown away by the service and the food at this restaurant. Being a 2 star Michelin restaurant we were naturally expecting a pretty high end meal but the service and attention to detail definitely exceeded our expectations. Having been to many 2 and even 3 star michelins, L'Olive staff went out of their way to be extra accommodating to us when one of us wanted to order a la carte while the rest of the table had the tasting menu, even bringing him some extra pieces to make sure he doesn't sit and watch while we eat. That is not to say the food was not good. The lemon pasta was out of the world and the tea cart was also a very nice surprise. We will definitely be back at L'Olive next time we find ourselves on Capri.

Michelin stars do not do justice to how amazing this restaurant is. From the food to the service (Kiara is outstanding); to the many surprises along your coursed meal - we were blown away. And then you have the best sunset views in all of Capri to top it off. This is a 10-Star rated venue all across the board!

This two Michelin Star restaurant did not live up to the hype. First- when booking, it was suggested I pay an additional €100 per person for a drinks and canapés experience, which we did. Upon arrival, no one knew about it. It was not until mid-way through the dinner that they apologized and offered the drinks/canapés another night. There was a pre-dinner drink cart, a bread cart, a tea cart, a post-dinner drink cart, so many carts moving around the restaurant and it was so distracting! Staff were putting down tray stands and picking them up every 30 seconds without much guidance. The service overall was great despite the chaos everywhere. We were stuffed after the meal. The food was decent either way the best being the tuna carpaccio and the pasta with shrimp- which made them famous. We did the Chefs tasting menu - La Recherche which was great. Overall, I liked it but it was not what I considered a Michellin Star restaurant did.

Simply stunning!! Stunning restaurant, amazing food and incredible service, do not miss this experience if you are staying in Capri. It was a stunning experience from start to finish, absolutely Loved it!!!

The people are what make any establishment worth it, this was no exception. We genuinely enjoyed interacting with the staff each morning and at our dinner reservation. I cannot stress enough how good this restaurant is.
