14/04/2026: They recommended Don Salvatore to us, and we were happy to choose it, but we were disappointed. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't have chosen it for many reasons. We were unhappy with the table, The location, There were two girls, one very kind, the other very rude in my opinion. Twice we had a plate with a hair in it. This made us look bad with our relatives, among other things. The service wasn't good, they were talking among themselves. I didn't have time to eat the fruit before it was immediately taken away. The plates were taken away and put back, so we didn't enjoy anything. We were supposed to take photos. And you could see the annoyance of the staff; I honestly didn't like that. If I had to recommend it based on my experience, I wouldn't. And I'm sorry because I really trusted them.

While we were blown away by the food the first time, the second time we decided to enjoy the full experience by staying overnight and having breakfast, which was a complete confirmation of the quality of this place. The location is beautiful, with meticulous attention to every detail and a charming atmosphere, complemented by impeccable cleanliness throughout. The food is simply delicious. Kudos to the entire staff for their professionalism and unwavering attention, but a special thanks goes to Patrizia. She's a wonderful person like few others, and with her incredible hospitality, she truly made us feel part of the family. Everything was perfect. 31/01/2026: The place has potential but the concept of cooking is far from my palate standards. The meat, what are we talking about, overcooked in a few words, is really missing someone who knows what it means to know how to use food ingredients and how they should be cooked on 3 tastings of first courses, 2 overcooked or defrosted or precooked, another completely raw. The starters are not cured meats sliced ​​on site but the ones from the supermarket already cut. I would have preferred to pay 30 euros and eat a well-made tomato-filled pierogi and a slice of scottona with salad rather than be served a sea of ​​imaginable dishes.

Delicious traditional Neapolitan and Ischian dishes, all prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients. Friendly and welcoming...a place I always love to return to! Don't miss the bruschetta and spaghetti with clams!

12/04/2026: We had lunch at Osteria Campana in Pomigliano d'Arco in December 2025, around the feast of Saint Lucia. The restaurant offers a welcoming, rustic atmosphere, made even more pleasant by the seasonal decorations, with beautiful attention to detail on the table and an excellent selection of wines (we paired our meal with a good bottle of Falanghina del Sannio 'Senete' Janare). Personally, I enjoyed the experience: I really appreciated the main courses, especially the pasta (a lovely plate of tagliolini with a rich sauce) and the meat-based main course, which was flavorful and beautifully presented. My wife, however, was a little less enthusiastic. What divided us was the appetizer: the 'Barzotto al bosco' (a soft-crusted breaded egg on a bed of vegetables). Although visually inviting, she wasn't entirely convinced by the taste and didn't find it particularly appealing. Overall, I'd give it a fair rating (3/5 stars). It's certainly an osteria with potential and a warm atmosphere, but perhaps with some flavors that fail to please all palates.

For Easter, we've already ordered their Colomba cake and savory panettone: with such attention to detail, expectations are sky-high!
