27/02/2026: Spectacular, we enjoyed the Neapolitan style of Nunziatina and her husband, genuine people, we felt at home as if we were visiting uncles, welcoming, warm and rich in tradition, highly recommended stop if you go to Naples ❤️

19/01/2026: We went in the evening to see what this place was all about, having discovered it by chance on social media, and I have to say it opened up a whole new world to me. Nunzia and her husband welcomed us, seated us, and made us feel comfortable, offering us coffee and homemade desserts. She told us that, unfortunately, it's only open for lunch by reservation. I have to say, I was so fascinated by the various stories I didn't want to leave. I'll definitely be back for lunch. Truly beautiful.

09/05/2026: Good classic Neapolitan pizza... I always recommend the classic ones because the classic Neapolitan dough is thin, and the more toppings you add, the harder it is to eat without spilling them on your plate. The pizza is quite large 💪💯

08/05/2026: Raw pizza, as per Neapolitan tradition. Obviously, I'm being sarcastic; raw pizza isn't part of Neapolitan tradition. Nothing to say except that the brand kills critical reflection, even the most banal, like that inherent in culinary evaluation.

01/01/2026: How fortunate we were to dine at this restaurant on New Year's Eve. Thank you to the entire team who allowed us to enjoy the seafood menu and for creating a magnificent meat menu for two. Thank you to the kitchen for introducing us to original flavors. Thank you to the waiters and waitresses who treated us to an exceptional evening with kindness and professionalism. Thank you for the party favors and fireworks. Let's start 2026 off on a high note.

18/12/2025: We ordered the five-course tasting menu. The starters were endive with small pieces of oily fish and vinegar. The bitterness and acidity were perfectly balanced, resulting in a dish that tasted of nothing. Another trompe l'oeil, an immaculate white morsel that tasted of charcoal, and finally, hummus and a cracker that cleansed our mouths of the sooty taste with something I couldn't identify, something very neutral. I thought it was a welcome joke. After the starters came bread with a somewhat hard crust and another magical ingredient, house butter, which meant it tasted of nothing. Except for the completely flat charcoal. We moved on to the main courses. Lamb tartare—a bad start, with absolutely nothing, not even salt, a festival of neutral flavors, I thought. A dollop of mustard on the plate, which I desperately tried to grab, but it was barely a stain. Now for rice, with a fish fumet, they said, again completely tasteless, but this dish had a trick up its sleeve: a generous dose of dried tuna powder sprinkled over the rice. Rice and tuna, a sin. Bad. After that came pieces of some indescribable fish on a butter and pine nut sauce—lots of pine nuts. Very bad. At this point, I was fed up and wanted to leave. Next, a bite of something neither sweet nor savory with a lemon flavor…it must be to cleanse the palate and prepare for a spectacular dessert, I thought. The dessert brought us back to square one: a quenelle that tasted of nothing, not even sweet, on a small piece of puff pastry that was rather hard, like bread crust. Final note: it was a bit warm in the dining room, and the wine was at room temperature. Seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I suppose we were just unlucky, but what I'm describing is what they put on the table. I'm giving it five stars so the chef can see that I, too, can be sarcastic, to put it politely.

12/04/2026: Overall, I found all the dishes delicious, but the wait for each one became unnerving. In the end, to avoid having to wait for the dirty dishes to be cleared away and for plates and silverware to be brought back, we were forced to eat with our hands to finish. We would have gladly tried something else, but we decided against it. What a shame!

Inside has a really nice decoration, and the service was excellent ( considering that it was about to close, they still got us in, thankfully because it was a holiday and there weren’t other open places around ) Definitely coming back

27/05/2026: Simply the best sandwich ever in so many ways. I'm absolutely in love with puok and will always find every single sandwich unique and iconic. You can see all the thought and love that goes into it. A must-try for anyone planning a trip to Naples and wanting to try something unique and special. Between zeppl and panzarott, there's puok. FULL STOP

14/06/2026: Really enjoyed the fried anchovies. Though could have had more seasoning. The spaghetti was a really large portion. Had mussels (very small) , clams (also really small), and octopus which was ok. The snails aren’t really our thing so we just tried some. The linguine was undercooked the first time it was brought out. And when it came back again, while the linguine was cooked.. the prawns had shrank and were really tiny and didn’t have much flavour. The octopus in this dish was also overcooked and tough. Would expect more from a seafood pasta restaurant.

06/05/2026: Disappointed by the "buffalo lasagne" dish, small quantity for an excessive price, it's not lasagne but a ball of buffalo cut into slices.

06/05/2026: I wouldn’t recommend the pizza—it was a bit underwhelming and didn't hit the mark. The grilled cod was delicious and the octopus was some of the best I've had recently. If you visit, stick to the seafood dishes and you'll have a great meal!

03/06/2026: After 6 years, we've finally returned to one of Italy's most charming restaurants. The view alone is worth the trip. Unfortunately, some renovations on the first floor prevented us from fully enjoying the view, but the meal made up for this small sacrifice. The staff has changed in the meantime, but the quality remains the same, extraordinary, as it was 6 years ago. From the welcome, to the service, to the warm farewell, everything was priceless, and the staff takes pride in answering the many questions of those who, like us, live several hours away and can rarely enjoy this experience. The cuisine is EXCELLENT, the wine cellar perhaps even more extensive than the one the former sommelier proudly showed us years ago. The refinement and care, the unrivaled raw materials, the perfect temperature in every course: what more could we say? Hats off! And endless thanks to the Maître d' who told us about Palazzo Petrucci and to the fantastic sommelier who delighted us with his wines. We can't wait to return ❤️

12/05/2026: Come prepared. 8pm amd later for dinner. Meat is superb. Service was top tier. Patient with Americans. Pricing on par with Italy. No surprises with meat. Great selection. Wine list is extensive. Sommelier is experienced and helpful pairing your meal with a great wine!

10/05/2026: It's all shameful. Going to dinner with a group, going outside for a cigarette, forgetting the purse outside, then coming out and realizing that money had been stolen from it (€250). The owner was unwilling to check the cameras, claiming the video was unclear; however, in our presence, it became clearer. Finally, he justified himself by saying that the perpetrator was one of his clients, adding that he was also an influential person. NICE PEOPLE. To be fair, they returned the money, not knowing who had done it. Lastly, I find it absurd not even to receive an apology. If it had been up to me, I would have filed a complaint and we'd see how influential the client, or whoever, was. SHAME

06/06/2026: We spent a pleasant end-of-year evening at La Genuina. All the dishes were carefully prepared, delicious, and meticulously prepared, from appetizers to dessert. We also greatly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. A truly positive experience that we happily recommend.

16/05/2026: We finally got to experience the delicious dishes served by Sabino Po', the director, with grace, delicacy, and kindness. He served us a lunch from appetizers to dessert, which truly and completely satisfied us, guests of a dear local friend. We promise to return, thank you again, Sabino.

07/04/2026: We were approached on the street and asked if we wanted to eat there. The restaurant made a good impression. Very bright and clean. We ordered the appetizer platter for €15. We were a bit disappointed, as it only contained two slices of pork and four slices of salami. The spaghetti Bolognese was nothing special, and the lasagna didn't have any particular flavor for me. It was okay, but we wouldn't come back.

06/04/2026: Even though we were only two persons, we ordered two things, a pizza and a pasta. But we did not get our food at the same time, we had to share the pizza before we even got the pasta. He explained that the reason why we cant get the food at the same time is that the pizza comes from another place.. But the pizza is great!!! 5 out of 5! Maby we were unlucky, but still was disappointed by the fact, that we wanna eat together.
