After amazing and heavy dinner I was looking for exceptional drinks!I came her and asked guys at the bar to make me a nice drink, the drink came beyond my expectations. Absolutely delicious. 05/01/2024: We are not open for business right now. Perhaps because it is off-peak season, the signs are removed. I had high expectations because I heard it was delicious, but it wasn't open for business. Koreans, don't be fooled!!

Our first visit was so memorable that we couldn’t resist returning just two days later. We noticed in every dish a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. Our second visit, just two days later, reaffirmed our initial impressions. The consistency in quality and service was commendable. This restaurant is a testament to what passion and dedication can achieve. The combination of exquisite food and heartfelt hospitality makes it a must-visit. 14/08/2024: Stunning place, on the highest point of the island, you can see the castle and all the islands and hinterland around. Abundant portions of excellent quality, extremely kind staff, possibility to rest on sunbeds in the shade, panoramic walk. Open all the time so even after the kitchen closes you can have a coffee or a dessert while lounging on the sun loungers. Highly recommended!

07/08/2024: The highest restaurant on the island. Wonderful views of the different areas of the island. Food is a little more expensive but absolutely okay.

31/08/2024: Suggestive environment for one of the 7 "pizza a corte" evenings...impeccable service in a location where the good music and the pizzas of the master Giovanni Senese made the evening very pleasant.

28/08/2024: We would give 10 stars, the restaurant is that great. Incredibly romantic atmosphere with fantastic food. A must if you are in Almalfi. Highly recommended.

28/08/2024: The best place to eat dinner in Napoli... or maybe in all Italy! Very nice staff, they care about everything, we were feel so good. And the pizza... so fantastic and tasty, simple pizza neapolitana, but the best I have eaten in my life. Greetings from Poland!

27/08/2024: Half a star, we found hair under the pizza, they justified that it was the fault of the air conditioning. The fried pizza is awful. The pizza chefs who argued and occasionally disappeared.

24/07/2024: Needless to say, everything was truly delicious and the portions are very generous. The environment is really beautiful, in particular my boyfriend and I had dinner outside, and therefore in a very nice and well-kept garden. The staff are really smart, they are super professional but at the same time they make you feel at ease by laughing and joking in the right way with customers. The bill was €60 per person and we both got a bottle of wine and a bottle of water; appetizer tasting which consists of 5 or 6 courses (I don't remember for sure); tuna tartare; sea ​​urchin linguine; spaghetti with black garlic from Voghera, clams and shredded provola cheese. It was all really delicious and reluctantly we couldn't get dessert because we were full. I offer my most sincere compliments to this place because it really deserves a lot, both for the food and for the people. Come and eat at this restaurant because it's worth it, it's high standard!

20/08/2024: My wife and I have been regular visitors to the village of Sant'Agata, but this time, we decided to book dinner at the renowned Don Alfonso 1890. To ensure a seamless dining experience, I contacted the restaurant eight months in advance to inquire about their vegetarian menu. They promptly confirmed that they could accommodate our dietary preferences and even provided us with a sample tasting menu upon request. I must say, everything about this place is truly amazing. Before our dinner, we were given a fascinating tour of the restaurant's wine cellar, which extends several hundred feet underground to the bottom of a well. Although the oldest wine in their collection dates back to 1890, it is not fit for consumption. Interestingly, the most expensive wine they have is an Italian wine priced at €40,000 per bottle (unfortunately, a bit out of our budget). During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef and owner of the restaurant and hotel. They warmly greeted guests in the restaurant and even invited us into the kitchen, where we witnessed the food preparation process and received a description of each kitchen station. After the kitchen tour, we were offered aperitifs, which we enjoyed in the beautiful gardens of the hotel. It was a delightful experience. As my wife is a vegetarian and I am a carnivore, we both opted for our own tasting menus. The first dish was preceded by a chef's welcome course not on the menu. I must say, the food was absolutely sublime. Every single bite was a delight, and despite the seemingly small portions, we left the restaurant feeling incredibly satisfied. In fact, we were so full that we couldn't even enjoy the petit fours. We decided to take them with us and gifted them to the staff at the Jaccarino hotel where we were staying. I must commend the staff at Don Alfonso 1890 for their exceptional service. They were engaging, polite, and personable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. One unique touch that caught my attention was the TV screens in the restaurant, which were turned 90 degrees into portrait mode. While you won't be watching the news or your favorite shows during dinner, you can observe the kitchen staff as they prepare and cook your food. I found this to be a wonderful addition that enhanced the overall dining experience. Additionally, there is a gift shop at the restaurant where you can purchase books, pasta sauces, and other items. My wife took advantage of this and bought some gifts for our friends the next day. Given our incredible experience, we have already made plans to return to the hotel next year, and without a doubt, we will be booking another dinner at Don Alfonso 1890.

16/08/2024: Siamo stati qui per festeggiare un evento con degli amici, c’è poco da raccontare esperienza unica tutto perfetto posto incantevole e cantina dei vini unica al mondo. La famiglia Iaccarino ci ha accolto come se eravamo di casa, abbiamo trascorso una serata eccezionale lo consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono vivere un’esperienza stellata.
