These two dishes I had in Naples completely changed my understanding of local cuisine!
The seafood pasta was absolutely perfect. The pasta had an authentic al dente texture, perfectly springy, and was coated in an incredibly fresh seafood sauce. The prawns and other seafood were unbelievably fresh; every bite was bursting with the sweetness of the sea.
The accompanying tomato-braised fish was an even bigger surprise. The tomatoes were cooked until soft and flavorful, and the fish was stewed until tender and falling off the bone. The salty and savory olives perfectly balanced the sweet and sour tomato flavors, making every bite rich yet not cloying.
From the ingredients to the seasoning, you could see the chef's skill. It truly tasted like real Neapolitan cuisine. After eating there, I immediately wanted to tell all my friends to come back for a second time!

Fantastic lunch at Re Lazzarone.
An authentic, quiet place with a truly Neapolitan atmosphere, perfect for a good meal in the heart of the historic center. I thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine: carefully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic traditional flavors, but with a creative touch that makes everything even more interesting.
The first and second courses were excellent, especially the seafood specialties and the daily specials. The service was friendly, helpful, and never intrusive. You could sense the passion and attention to detail behind them.
A restaurant that deserves much more than its "tourist" reputation: the food here is truly excellent and the experience is genuine. I will definitely return.
An extra star for the owner, Giuseppe. Be careful, you might fall in love with his friendliness.

We really enjoyed the personal atmosphere. It's a lovely restaurant with a wide variety of dishes, all very reasonably priced. The waiters were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Our visit was definitely worthwhile!

Had a great experience here! I was greeted by the owner Pepe and got sat immediately! The artwork in the whole place is super quirky and adds some character to the place! They offered little glasses of wine to try and a lemon cello. I ordered steak tartar and a steak fillet with homemade potato chips! It was cooked to perfection! Pepe even gave us some battered prawns to try and that was good as well! The service by the staff and the quality of the food was spectacular and would definitely come back!
