31/08/2025: La Terrazza Restaurant, located in the heart of Pescocostanzo, offers a picturesque view from its panoramic rooms. The service is warm and friendly, without too much formality, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The appetizers are traditional and well-prepared, while the first courses are reasonably good, although the portions are a bit small, especially the pappardelle. The bean soup is satisfying, but both dishes are rather basic and lack any particular surprises. The second courses are average and offer nothing particularly original compared to other restaurants in Abruzzo. The desserts are also average, with the chestnut gelato standing out as one of the few positives. However, the prices are excessive and not justified by the quality of the food, the ambiance, or the service. Considering the competition, they're too high. In conclusion, it wouldn't be my first choice, but the food isn't bad; it's just not a memorable place, and there are better options within walking distance.

21/09/2025: Even during the day, it's exceptional, but the live music evenings are the absolute best. Very beautiful location. EDIT: I reluctantly have to change my rating from 5/5 to 3/5 after a truly awful lunch. The first courses were awful, especially the saffron gnocchi. Absolutely poor value for money. The meat was good. I recommend it only for coffee/aperitifs.

01/09/2025: Last day of opening before the holidays: warm welcome and pleasant atmosphere. For my appetizer, I chose the arrosticini: very good flavor, but let down by the sloppy plating that made them almost resemble a can of dog food. The maltagliati, unfortunately, didn't impress: the seasoning was barely perceptible and the flavor was undefined. The lamb casserole also wasn't convincing, with flavors that were too delicate and lacking in punch. A real shame, because for a €44 dinner, I expected more satisfaction and a few more surprises.

19/08/2025: Excellent food and value. The dishes use top-quality ingredients. The wine list is good, though not particularly extensive, which isn't a problem at all, but makes choosing easier. The staff is very kind and friendly. The experience is worth repeating.

09/12/2025: I ate well, but it's a shame there was a private party nearby (rude children and parents) that disturbed the dinner. The gnocchi were excellent, the guinea fowl was excellent, and the lentils (local) could have been a little more daring. The dessert has a few flaws: a white chocolate sphere with tiramisu inside and a dark chocolate drizzle. This, however, wasn't hot enough to create the classic wow effect that opens from the top, and above all, it wasn't dark! To warm it up, they add whipped cream, without specifying which (effectively making it milky). Leave it dark! I'd return... but I don't feel like giving it 5 stars.

07/12/2025: We tried starters, pastas, mains and desserts and everything was incredible! The chef greeted us with a big smile and the staff were lovey. I would definitely go back, 100% approved!

21/11/2025: Review of the street food: the waitresses were very kind, explaining the difference between the restaurant and the street food section, and explaining the entire menu with daily specials. Excellent sea bass and delicious tuna and salmon tarte. Unbeatable prices: two main courses, appetizer, salmon and tuna tarte, and carpaccio PLUS a salmon crostini and water: €50 for two. Plus, it's practically on the beach. We'll definitely be back.

20/11/2025: The food is truly excellent!! I had spaghetti allo scoglio, fresh fish, and a generous portion. The desserts we ordered were also very good. The restaurant is a bit chaotic given the double service of the restaurant and the canteen, and the waiters were a bit lost. It must have taken us at least 30 minutes to order dessert after we finished the main course.

The services offered were excellent value for money, the rooms were clean and tidy, and with the friendliness of Mr. Gabriele, you'll fly to the table with starters, main courses, side dishes, and the excellent Nutella and coconut dessert. If you're in the area, you can try it!

05/10/2025: I was in Bominaco to visit the two churches. I then took a lunch break and just managed to get the last seat at the restaurant. It was a lovely, authentic experience, with excellent regional dishes, all freshly prepared and handmade. You can also buy regional products at the restaurant. After consulting with the owner, I purchased a bottle of organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. A poem! The service was also excellent, friendly, and fast. I highly recommend the restaurant.

28/08/2025: Excellent food with sought-after and hard-to-find ingredients. A vast selection of wines at low prices. Pacchero with sublime lobster for €15, extraordinary oysters for €3. What more can I say? Congratulations!

14/08/2025: It was with great joy and a touch of emotion that I rediscovered the magic of one of Italy's finest wine shops. The selection is carefully curated and of the highest quality, featuring a selection of local labels. The owner, Maurizio, is a great wine expert and a delightful person. If you can get him to open the "Holy of Holies" where the most precious wines are kept, you'll be amazed! A must-visit for wine lovers!
