08/03/2025: We have been customers of this Resort for many years. The managers Santino and Amedeo are a point of reference for us on the Rocche plateau. We feel at home, in a truly tranquil, welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent. The rooms are beautiful and equipped with everything you need (TV, minibar, comfortable bathrooms for a moment of relaxation). The environment is familiar. The panorama under Rocca di Cambio offers a nice observation point. 3 minutes from the Campo Felice ski fields, 10 minutes from those of Monte Magnola. A few km from the Rovere dei Marsi and Rocca di Cambio riding stables, 5 minutes from Piani di Pezza. A short distance from Avezzano. Cycle paths at minimum distance. A crossroads place for many activities which also depend on the season. Great for a relaxing week or a relaxing weekend. I recommend taking advantage of their cuisine for both breakfast and dinner and lunch. Typical, tasty dishes, excellent meat and first courses. Good availability of wines from the cellar. Good selection of desserts. In this season I recommend the polenta with mushrooms or with ribs and sausages, the fillet, the meat cooked on the table on the incandescent stone, the guitar with ragù, and the appetizer which is exceptional. I recommend booking otherwise you will be left empty-handed. Fair price. The place is quiet and the atmosphere requires respect so you go to feel good and calm.

27/10/2024: If you visit Alba Fucens for the interesting ruins to see, a stop is mandatory at the bar trattoria l'anfiteatro, from the ravioli, to the fettuccine, to the pasta and beans not to mention the second courses you will feel like you are going back in time. Excellent value for money . GO THERE.

06/01/2025: Il piccolo ristorante è situato in un posto incantevole dell'entroterra abruzzese, Rocca di Mezzo. Impeccabile l'attenzione e la passione del titolare, il quale, attento alle esigenze dei clienti e scrupoloso nella preparazione di ogni piatto, è anche un estimatore di vini che suggerisce puntualmente agli ospiti in base ai cibi scelti. I piatti proppsti rispecchiano la tradizione abruzzese ben accostata da piccoli elementi innovativi che risultano piacevoli. Locale spartano ma che comunque fa trapelare una piacevole sensazione di "casa". Possibilità di effettuare passeggiate e trekking nelle immediate vicinanze adatte a tutti. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Da tornarci assolutamente.

05/01/2025: Sempre una garanzia la cucina di fagiolone! Ambiente caldo ed informale , ottime le zuppe di legumi , e le paste asciutte della cucina abruzzese. Abbiamo anche gustato gli immancabili arrosticini e deliziosa è stata la trippa cucinata al trebbiano e pecorino. Molto buona ed assortita la selezione dei vini . l'accoglienza e la cortesia del personale sono state eccellenti. Il conto è stato più che onesto ,ci si tornerà di sicuro ! E se vi dice bene potrete anche assistere allo 'show' di Fabio il proprietario.

20/03/2025: We arrived a little late and the waiter told us that he didn't know if it was possible to stay for dinner and that he would check it in the kitchen. After the kitchen gave the OK and 40 minutes of waiting, I asked what the vegetarian burger consisted of and the waiter replied that it was "meat, I don't know"; I'm not a vegetarian but this particular evening I felt like it and I would have expected a little consideration. Instead I get a plate of two Eurospin-style "vegetable burgers" with five pieces of counted, dried baked potatoes, for a whopping 12 euros. To which I ask for some sauce and all I get is mayonnaise (ketchup too fancy?). However, the same waiter who took our orders got the beers wrong, obviously he changed them when it was pointed out but very slow service, zero knowledge of the menu and an exaggerated bill for two veg burgers and two unseasoned potatoes.

We had asked for fried potatoes which the waiter denied because they were finished but then during dinner we saw them served to other customers who arrived later. Bah? However, not the best value for money

The fried cheese was perfect: crunchy on the outside, melted on the inside and very tasty. The meat was cooked to perfection, well spiced and incredibly tender. The french fries were fresh and delicious. But the real protagonist of the meal was the pasta with cheese and artichoke cream: a true spectacle of flavours. We will definitely be back! Furthermore, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience even more pleasant. Review in English I had dinner here with my girlfriend, and I must say the food was excellent. 28/02/2025: La cartiera del Vetojo è una location perfetta per festeggiare un evento importante!! Abbiamo festeggiato lì il nostro matrimonio, e ci siamo trovati benissimo... Dall'ambiente elegante, ma allo stesso tempo familiare e accogliente, all'ottimo cibo con moltissime soluzioni anche per gli invitati che hanno esigenze particolari ( allergia al glutine o lattosio o strane richieste😅😂); per non parlare dell'infinita disponibilità e pazienza del propietario Luca che ci ha aiutato ad organizzare il tutto in pochissimo tempo, dandoci delle ottime dritte anche sull'intrattenimento musicale e sull'addobbo floreale. Lo staff professionale e attento ad ogni richiesta. Lo consigliamo a tutti.... per qualsiasi evento si voglia festeggiare la Cartiera del Vetojo, immersa nel verde e circondata dal fiume Vetojo ,rimane sempre un posto speciale e magico❤️ Ci torneremo sicuramente Lina e Giancarlo

14/01/2025: We had lunch on Saturday 11th January, the lady welcomed us very friendly and available to our request for the children, cutlet for the children very good made certainly at the moment and not those bought made and good at the supermarket gnocchi with ragù super the children ate them all. We ordered a typical dish with ricotta and pistachio very good, the arrosticini top and the roast meat, everything good and cooked really well and tasty we will definitely return 😘 See you next time!!!
