A true mountain inn. Everything was delicious. Some traditional dishes featured game and pasta made to order. Others were slightly revisited, like the ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and spinach, topped with Taleggio cheese and truffle. For our main course, we had lamb and arrosticini... as per tradition. All this was topped off with friendly and impeccable service, as is customary in these parts of Abruzzo.

A pleasant trattoria at the foot of Opi. We ordered the extraordinary, both in quality and size, wild game platter: cold cuts and cheeses, tomato bruschetta, and excellent vegetables preserved in oil. Followed by a portion of roasted meats (10). All accompanied by a good house red. Excellent value. The staff is very friendly, kind, and helpful, making you feel immediately at ease. A lovely place to return to.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience. The food was good, but they made us wait 2.5 hours per course. We arrived at 8:00 PM and had time to decide what to order (10 minutes maximum), and the dishes arrived at 9:00 PM. They came to take our second course orders, which arrived at 10:00 PM! An hour per course isn't possible, which is a shame because the restaurant is nice, the food isn't bad, and the bartender with the ponytail is super nice (he even played some tricks to keep us entertained, hahaha).

A typical restaurant in a beautiful corner of Abruzzo. If you're in the area, definitely stop by, but I recommend making a reservation. Typical, generous dishes at very reasonable prices. The waiter was super friendly, helpful, and approachable. At the end, he even performed some magic tricks for us—what a magician! Unfortunately, I don't have any photos because we arrived hungry and finished everything right away. Well done, we'll definitely be stopping here again!

Family-run restaurant. We ordered four first courses (all fantastic), then shared a mixed grill (the meat was also excellent), coffee, water, and wine for €25 per person. The staff was friendly and courteous. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent restaurant, local food, there is parking

We went there on a Sunday for lunch, six of us. From the outside, it looks like an old inn, but inside, there are three spacious rooms! We each had a generous first course, and a grilled meat for two, which we barely finished! Everything was delicious, the waiter was friendly, and the bill was also fair: €30 per person, including two waters, a 1L Coke, coffee, and a bitter liqueur!

This restaurant, located on the Strada Marsicana, serves typical local dishes. The overall experience was average, worthy of a 3-star rating. The menu offers local specialties, but the selection is rather limited. As soon as we entered, we were assigned a table, and before we could even sit down, the waitress was already ready to ask us what we wanted to drink. A few minutes later, she returned, further rushing us through our selections: an attitude we found a bit pushy and unpleasant. Regarding the food, the bread wasn't good quality, probably from the day before. The arrosticini were too fatty and flavorless, lacking the typical flavor of the sheep. The first courses, however, were generally acceptable: I enjoyed the pasta alla Marsicana, although the truffle was barely noticeable, almost nonexistent. The prices are average, but the €3 per person cover charge seems a bit excessive for the experience offered. Overall, a decent place, but with several areas for improvement.
