08/09/2025: I've been going there for about twenty years now: it's my go-to in Ferrara. I recommend it as a reliable place. Central location without compromise, a very, very beautiful atmosphere with uncommon attention to detail, precise, punctual, friendly, and helpful service. I can't say I'm equally enthusiastic about the food: in my opinion, the number of seats, managed efficiently—I don't object—has now imposed a "tourist" tendency in the cuisine, which I struggle to follow. Specifically, my last visit was characterized, on the positive side, by excellent appetizers and desserts; on the negative side, by both the traditional and pumpkin-and-mushroom lasagnas that weren't stellar (let's just say they were decent "mappazze"), by the cream-filled cappelletti that were less than average, and by the ordinary main courses. The prices are overall commensurate with the quality. I'm disappointed, but it's also true that it was Sunday and the place was packed with people waiting, so evidently the "entrepreneurial" approach is the right one (unfortunately).

06/09/2025: Right in the city center, overlooking the castle, excellent traditional dishes. Very friendly staff and expert presentation. Highly recommended.

17/05/2025: Piccolo ristorante di pesce dove si gustano piatti preparati con cura, dal sapore eccellente, una frittura mista che si scioglie in bocca e non appesantisce...dolci ottimi. Sono stata ieri sera con delle amiche e penso ci tornero' presto! Atmosfera intima e tranquilla. Un caffè speciale che non avevo mai bevuto prima "raccontato" dal gestore....

As soon as you enter, you are enveloped in a unique atmosphere: walls adorned with reproductions of masterpieces such as La Gioconda, Botticelli's Primavera and many other famous works of art that transform the room into a true art gallery. Every detail is taken care of with taste, from the menus to the furnishings, creating a refined and welcoming environment. The pizza is simply extraordinary, prepared with the highest quality ingredients and a lot of passion. The staff is extremely kind and courteous, always attentive and smiling. Impeccable cleanliness, excellent service, enchanting atmosphere: an experience to live and repeat!

It's the first store of its kind, with a huge selection of all kinds of gluten-free flour products, from flour to pasta, breads, cookies, ready-made meals like ravioli, frozen and freshly baked sweets, pizzas, and sandwiches. Huge applause and thanks to the store owners. 😘😘

18/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, I've been there two nights in a row, having tried others in the area that aren't quite as good. Special appetizers with natural and refined ingredients, excellent first courses, fabulous meat-based main courses, and mouth-watering homemade desserts!! They also make pizza, but we didn't order it. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by again.

06/06/2025: Ho avuto recentemente il piacere di assaporare un piatto che, nella sua semplicità, rasenta la perfezione: le tagliatelle al sugo di ortiche con burrata. Fin dalla presentazione, il piatto si è rivelato un piccolo gioiello. Il verde intenso e rustico del sugo di ortiche avvolgeva morbidamente le tagliatelle, ruvide al punto giusto da trattenere ogni goccia di condimento. A completare l'opera, una burrata freschissima, adagiata al centro come una perla bianca e cremosa, pronta a fondersi con il calore della pasta. Al primo assaggio, l'esplosione di sapori è stata sorprendente. L'ortica, spesso sottovalutata, ha rivelato un gusto erbaceo, delicato ma persistente. Un sapore autentico, che parla di terra e di tradizioni antiche. La vera magia, però, è scaturita dall'incontro con la burrata. La sua dolcezza lattiginosa e la sua consistenza incredibilmente cremosa hanno smorzato la nota quasi selvatica dell'ortica, creando un equilibrio sublime. Ad ogni forchettata, la stracciatella filante della burrata si mescolava al sugo, dando vita a un condimento avvolgente che ha trasformato un piatto potenzialmente semplice in un'esperienza gourmet. Le tagliatelle, rigorosamente fatte in casa, erano il veicolo perfetto per questa sinfonia di sapori. La loro porosità e la cottura al dente hanno esaltato la consistenza del piatto, rendendo ogni boccone un piacere tattile oltre che gustativo.

11/08/2025: A high-end culinary experience in a location with meticulous attention to detail. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive to guests' needs. The Radice menu (gluten-free in my case) was a true sensory journey, surprising with every course. The quality/price ratio was also excellent, making the experience even more satisfying.

05/07/2025: Apparently a very nice place and with very inviting products on social media, but totally not recommended. I ordered two takeaway sandwiches, a portion of chips with bacon and a portion of chicken strips covered in popcorn and almonds. The chicken was obviously stale and tasteless, the chips inedible and also obviously "old" and cooked several times in the same oil, the disgusting sandwich, oozing oil in absurd quantities (among other things stuffed with the same tasteless chicken and with spoiled salad and heavy sauces). We had to throw practically everything away after spending exactly 40 euros for two and we felt nauseated for hours from the little we tasted.

22/08/2025: A place that stands out among the many options at San Salvario. I was surprised by both the drinks and food selection. Some of the drinks are truly remarkable, making your taste buds explode. Some tapas could be improved in terms of convenience, but even then, some of the pairings are noteworthy. The service is pleasant, but the prices are a bit on the high side for this type of place.
