04/08/2025: We've been customers of this restaurant for many years, but now that the management changed about a month ago, we decided to give it a try. What can I say? I'm very sorry, but I can't give it a positive review. The restaurant's ambiance has remained unchanged, with no improvements. As for the food, there's no longer a pizzeria. The restaurant now aims for fine dining with smaller portions and high prices. Unfortunately, we're not there yet. We ordered shrimp linguine and were honestly quite disappointed. The presentation was beautiful, but the taste was disappointing. Bland and disappointing. We've lost the urge to order a second course. Apple pie was a nice touch, but that was really good. I'm sorry to say, but we won't be returning. I hope the new management improves. The service was truly courteous, and the location has great potential.

31/07/2025: A quick lunch on the go, too little to give the food five stars, but everything was very good (dessert was a main course). Excellent, friendly, and very helpful service. The Cascina is a "place of the heart" for me; I've been happy to visit it at least once a year for almost sixty years. Recommended on days when it's not too busy; you'll appreciate the peace and shade of the walnut tree. This despite the fact that it's very convenient on the road to the Presolana Pass.

31/07/2025: What a treat to eat here with the kids. The service is very friendly and the food is excellent! And I can't even mention the location; if you make a reservation, you'll be seated on the terrace overlooking the lake!

16/08/2025: An unexpected sensory experience! 🌊🐟 What can I say... few restaurants make you feel so "close to the sea" even before you enter. Already on the sidewalk, you're greeted by an intense and authentic aroma, thanks to a creative fish transport system: a perforated bag that generously releases drops and fragrance along the way. It's rare to find places that cultivate the olfactory experience of their customers right from the street. Perhaps a little too rare, given that walking past the entrance and the surrounding streets has become an adventure through salty puddles and the thrill of sliding. For those seeking total immersion in the marine atmosphere... here you don't even need a reservation. Just walk right past. Oh, and the owner is irresistibly unfriendly!

01/08/2025: We have been to the Osteria and I agree with most comments on the quality of service, atmosphere and taste of the dishes. Our experience although has not been of the most rewarding. I can accept the philosophy of the place, also can understand the imbalance of 100 different wines and the short menu, I am prepared to accept the price and surcharge for location and view. What I cannot condone is the portion control. The job of a restaurant is not to be confused with that of a dietician. Pictures to testify that a plate of pasta at €22 with a ragù of mussels - with no mussels as evident from the photo- is not more than 70g of dry weight. Equally a €26 sarde is made of 7 small ones. So I hope the chef and the team understand that customers are ready to accept some compromises but not the lack of consideration of the environment they operate in - in Italian I would call this Lesinare: the intent to reduce the provision for the sole purpose of pretending to be posh. I would hope this review is taken for what it is. Recognition of good intent, feedback for improvement on the execution.

24/04/2025: Premetto che non sono andato a pranzo come volevo con mia moglie il giorno di Pasqua in quanto ho mandato una mail per richiedere informazioni sul menù e non mi è stato mai risposto come promesso,in più ho telefonato successivamente e mi hanno detto che ancora non avevano preparato qualcosa per il pranzo di Pasqua.Dulla promessa di essere ricontattato come risposta della mail sono ancora oggi in attesa.zNon discuto della qualità in quanto non ho avuto la possibilità di pranzare e non metto neanche in dubbio le belle recensioni viste,ma sicuramente un po' di attenzione si contatti effettuati tramite il loro dito si.zCordialmente saluti.

04/04/2025: Elegant restaurant with few seats, also open for lunch. Parking 5 minutes from the venue. Friendly staff and attentive to our needs. Lunch for two adults and two children. As a welcome, an aubergine meatball, omelette and peppers. First courses: tagliolini with mushrooms (morels), potato gnocchi with basil sauce and herbs. Second courses: lamb with a side dish of potatoes, asparagus with cheese fondue, sweetbreads. Olive pâté and butter, both to be served on excellent 4/5 types of bread. Vast cart with cheeses. Inviting. Petit patisserie of the house.

13/07/2025: My wife and I had been there years ago for lunch, and it was truly excellent. We stayed for one night in mid-June. It was an enchanting place, with a small balcony offering a truly unique view, but... we arrived in the morning to tour the islands, and the aloof receptionist made us leave our bags in a corner without a safe. When we returned in the afternoon, the room, with its enchanting view, had no TV. Never mind. We went out onto the balcony to enjoy the view and a cup of tea, as there was a kettle and a few teabags: a herbal tea, a green tea, and two coffee bags. Never mind, we'll make up for it at the restaurant. Splendid view, decent service. The menu was sparse. I ordered a trout and was brought four pieces of fish that looked raw to me, but the waitress couldn't tell me, nor was it listed on the menu. She took the plate away and confirmed it was raw. I opted for the mixed fried lake fish my wife had ordered, and two courses arrived, each consisting of two or three pieces of fish and lots of breaded vegetables. Let's draw a veil over dessert. Breakfast in the morning is miserable, but not the bill. It's a real crime that such an enchanting place is managed so superficially.

20/07/2025: The food was decent but not good or anything to write home about. The service not so much, they forgot my items and since my order was delivered, the delivery service refused any compensation. So that means that it needs to be perfect every time — and it wasn’t (despite how expensive it was). It was also delivered 40 minutes late and it was ice cold.

17/07/2025: We dined at this restaurant in the outdoor, but enclosed, area. Because the sidewalk is across the harbor road, the sea wasn't visible. Everything we ate was good, but unfortunately, the room temperature fluctuated depending on the customers' complaints. The friendly waiters tried to accommodate everyone, despite some people's low tolerance. Service was slow for us; we waited quite a while for two pasta dishes. The staff was always friendly and apologized for the wait.

14/07/2025: An air-conditioned place, friendly staff, they welcomed us even though it was almost closing time, the food was good and fresh, we ate good bruschetta, spaghetti with sea urchins and busiate, cherry tomatoes, basil and pecorino cheese, I recommend it

18/07/2025: Went there for an apertivo. Since we were not Italian we were not served an apertivo but only drinks. Had to ask to get what was actually included. Feeling cheated is not a good feeling when leaving an establishment.

21/07/2025: Went for dinner the staff are very attentive Not thier fault but the wasps (vespa) were a pain. Personally I dont care but the boss does. Fact of life. Moved us and the food was fab. All the team.sang happy birthday 🎂 to the boss
