Decent, unpretentious traditional Venetian cuisine. The calf's liver was a bit dry: pink in France. Excellent welcome and service. Locals, which is a good sign.

The food was absolutely delicious — the best Italian meal we had in Venice! The flavours were excellent and really suited our Asian palate. We even asked for extra cheese and chilli flakes, which seems quite unusual at restaurants here, but it made the meal even better. We only wish we had another day in Venice so we could come back again!

A restaurant with an old-world feel, but with prices that are well-regarded: €28 for a tuna steak with salad, €3 for bottled water, and they only have half-liter bottles, something I haven't seen in years. They're friendly, but that's not enough to make me want to return. It's true that the restaurant market in Venice is booming, but here everything is overpriced (as in dozens of other trattorias in the city, mind you).
