23/10/2025: Former owners of Picasso's Inn. They've moved here with fewer seats. For me, since I live nearby, it's very convenient that they also do takeout. There's a little less space than before, but the food is still top-quality.

16/11/2025: An unfortunate evening. After longing to try this renowned restaurant, it was a disappointment. The fried food was poor, soggy, and completely unsalted. The pizzas were equally soggy, and even the crust wasn't crispy, whether it was the gluten-free or Kamut version. The service was inattentive, but it was the second sitting, so maybe they were just tired. What a shame.

10/11/2025: Passing through Padua, we chose this restaurant because it specializes in gluten-free cuisine. We had dinner with local friends, without a reservation and despite there being no free tables, but they welcomed us and served us with a professionalism and kindness that's not always found elsewhere. Highly recommended... and I recommend... making a reservation! 😉

15/11/2025: In early November, I moved to the province of Viterbo, and since I had to have my QJ 800 serviced for the 12,000th anniversary, I made an appointment. Excellent welcome, punctual service, and as agreed, I waited just long enough for the service. Very thorough, they even apologized for not being able to provide a clean bike. I'll definitely be back for the next one, and maybe even switch vehicles. Highly recommended.

They're first and foremost passionate about what they do and know how to convey what the world of cooking means to them. If for you, it's not just food, but an experience, a way to enrich your culinary knowledge and, of course, a desire to eat well, the right place for you is Mater Bistrot. If you choose the tasting menu, your experience will begin with Chef Alex's first treat: butter enriched with onion soup served with warm bread—it's hard to slow down... Next, they serve their delicious empanadas and, to freshen up, a cleft leaf with giardiniera inside. Next, their turnip greens risotto, which reflects the traditional flavors of the chef, who tells us about his use of local produce. Their splendid diaphragm completes the savory portion, a dish truly worth trying. Their cheesecake is truly excellent, a combination of sweet and savory that satisfies even our sweet tooth. All this is complemented by a lovely atmosphere, and the service is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. If you want to spend a lovely evening and eat well, Mater Bistrot is definitely what you're looking for.

20/11/2025: Unique and diverse dishes, from appetizer to dessert. Special mention for the chef's creativity and attentive service. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed; I truly appreciated everything about this dinner! Highly recommended :)

19/11/2025: €15 all-inclusive weekday lunch, good food, excellent stew! I'll definitely be back. 2nd review: 18/11. Everything was good, but this time the Cabernet wine was a bit more acidic, and the beef stew was forgettable. 😞

25/11/2025: I found the atmosphere welcoming and the staff friendly. I chose the seafood menu, and I must say the chef was excellent: excellent paccheri with crab, perfect fried fish. I think I'll be back.

An excellent selection of wines and sparkling wines, extraordinary desserts, and friendly, professional, and always smiling service are available.

16/11/2025: Family-run restaurant, home cooking. Excellent scallops, tagliolini with scampi, top-notch sole, and a superb dessert. Friendly, professional, and clean. We'll definitely be back soon. Make a reservation because it's always busy.
