22/06/2025: I had lunch there for work, every time it always left me with a good memory. I think it's the only place where I would also try what I normally consider not to be my thing; delicious dishes, well-prepared, in short, a treat for the palate. Small but welcoming place, one of my favorite places, I can't deny it. Obviously highly recommended! 🥰

18/05/2025: Excellent dishes, very kind and helpful staff. I have been to this restaurant several times and every time I have left very satisfied, I am a vegetarian and since the kitchen is express I was able to ask for small variations without any problem. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes traditional cuisine but with a modern twist, really everything is excellent.

24/07/2025: Raro is definately worth a visit. There Are 3 floors and the top floor has a great view to the sunset. We didn’t have a reservation so we Got a table om the second floor which was also very nice and Cosy. The waiters were pleasant and the food was very good. The pizza was with a thicker crust. I Think it is Roman style.

17/07/2025: We had lunch without having to book. We enjoyed two top-notch first courses: lasagna with nettles and mountain cheese, and tagliolini with black truffle. EXCELLENT! We also indulged in the desserts, which were described and made like works of art! The staff was also delightful! Highly recommended!

23/04/2025: Capitiamo per caso perchè di passaggio a Sappada e devo ammettere che è andata proprio bene. Tagliere di formaggi e salumi ottimo, cervo in salmi superlativo, la carne era un burro. Ottimo il vino cabernet della casa. Il posto come si usa dire di questi tempi è molto cozy, e il personale è affabile e gentilissimo. Conto nella media. Se passate da Sappada io mi sento di consigliarlo

27/07/2025: Surrounded by greenery, this fully renovated period farmhouse offers a varied and delicious menu, from burgers to pizzas to desserts. You can also eat outside. There's an adjacent brewery, which you can tour. The only drawback is the lack of table service.

27/07/2025: Ci andiamo 4 o 5 volte l'anno. Il posto è sempre bellissimo, soprattutto in estate. Cibo di grande sapore e qualità, anche se alcuni prezzi un po' ingiustificati (i dolci). Il problema è l'atteggiamento di parte del personale (spiace dirlo, ma soprattutto quello femminile) . Alcune cassiere/cameriere hanno spesso un'aria scocciata e arrogante e tentano di farti passare per scemo quando ordini qualcosa che non è più in menu (ma che c'è sempre stato, come confermato dal bravissimo chef). L'esperienza, soprattutto con un bel gruppo di amici e amanti delle birre, è sempre consigliata, forse sarebbe il caso di selezionare meglio chi ha a che fare col pubblico, come già si fa con chi spilla e chi cucina.

03/05/2025: Qua la cucina è forma d'arte, niente di simile a Livorrno. Andrea, front girl del ristorante, descrive piatti vini e dolci con la verve di chi sta facendo qualcosa che ama. Ci vonsiglia e descrive un vino cileno rose' che rispecchia perfettamente l'esperienza provata poco dopo. Per noi stella M. Straaaconsigliato.

03/07/2025: Very beautiful location reachable with a walk of a couple of hours or so, altitude difference for trained walkers. I have a note on the management of the refuge: if you do not consume their food, you are not allowed to sit down (not even if the tables are empty, I find it an inhospitable gesture) ... apart from their tables with umbrellas, there is no other place to sit down to eat a sandwich. Unfortunately not everyone can afford to spend 30 euros for a meal Advice? It would be nice to have a couple of tables outside the enclosure to allow everyone to stop to eat even with a symbolic cost of occupying the table or obligation to consume at the bar. The staff is kind but very strict in enforcing the spaces

29/06/2025: The refuge can be reached after a 2-hour walk from the Pian Neiretto ski lifts. The first part of the trail is in the shade, then it all remains in the sun. Once you reach the refuge, there is a large place to lie down and admire the view or eat something directly at the refuge.

Each plate was a work of art, as beautiful as it was delicious, showcasing local produce enhanced by masterful technique. This rare attention demonstrates the seriousness and care taken in welcoming guests. The service was impeccable, discreet, professional, and warm. The setting is elegant without being stuffy, perfect for fully savoring the moment. A remarkable address that we unhesitatingly recommend to all food lovers seeking authenticity and creativity.

06/06/2025: I only came to Il Tiranno Caportigia Restaurant for the breakfast buffet, but it was excellent and high quality. They had a huge range of options, including including eggs, pancakes, waffles, meats/cheeses, pastries, fruit, and so much more. I ate so much and really enjoyed my meal. The waiter was also very friendly and attentive. I could tell this restaurant is higher-end and a great place to dine.
