Rossini In Milano

Best restaurant in town. Be sure to book ahead as it's always packed. The staff is fantastic and the food is fabulous. We highly recommend it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Solid spot in Milan We stopped in at Roassini during our time in Milan and really enjoyed it. The staff were genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in, the kind of place where you feel welcome right away, not just like another table to turn over. Food highlights: the lasagna was excellent, one of the better ones we’ve had, and the pizza was outstanding. Really hard to fault either of those. The one miss was the carbonara, it came out a bit dry and the pasta was slightly overcooked, which was a shame because everything else showed they clearly know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Hopefully just an off night for that dish. Overall a really good experience.

The prettiest waitresses and the most knowledgeable chefs of all time! I highly recommend it to tourists as a must-see destination in Milan!

Before your trip to Milan, you probably won’t come across Rossini while searching for Italian restaurants on social media. Honestly, if my friend hadn’t grown up coming here with his family, I would have never discovered it, which would have been such a loss. It’s a place with a much more local, authentic Italian vibe. We chose it for our last evening in Milan. Completely trusting our waiter’s recommendation, I mentioned that I prefer more sour and aromatic white wines. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the wine, but it truly was the cherry on top of my evening. Whenever I go to an Italian restaurant, ordering beef carpaccio as a starter is a must for me. The black truffle they added on top was such a beautiful touch, carpaccio was very very delicious. Leaving Italy without having my spaghetti alla carbonara wasn’t an option, so that was my main. It was the best carbonara I’ve ever had. The richness of the sauce, its perfectly balanced creaminess, the generous amount of meat, and the extra parmesan on top made it a solid 10/10 dish for me. My friend ordered the quattro formaggi pizza. The harmony between the cheeses was spot on, and the pizza itself was HUGE. I strongly recommend going there very hungry, because the portions are massive. Despite me being a pasta monster, couldn’t finish my plate, even though it might look smaller in the photos. After such a feast, I was convinced their tiramisu would be so delish and really wanted to try it, but unfortunately we were too full and had to skip dessert. The bread basket they serve before the meal was also good and fresh. Their olive oil… We mixed it with balsamic vinegar and fully enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful, as it directly got out from an Italian dream. The authenticity of the interior design adds so much to the overall dining experience. As someone who really values attentive and warm service, I have to say the staff were amazing. Every time our waiter came to the table, we found ourselves smiling and enjoying little conversations. From now on, whenever I’m in Milan, one of my evenings will definitely be reserved for Rossini.

It was the best carbonara I've ever had. The restaurant is in the city center, so tourist prices mean you can definitely eat cheaper. Nevertheless, it's worth it ❤️🇮🇹

Nice place with authentic food. Some Italians were eating their lunch here, despite the touristic placement of the restaurant. We ate vitello tonnato (sorry, I ate it too fast to take picture), it was delicious, but the portion is way too small. Carbonara was one of the tastiest in my life. Worth visiting! 4/5 because of the price being a bit higher than it could possibly be.

A decent Italian restaurant, many authentic pasta and pizza varieties. Little bit more expensive than others in Milano but definitely worth it.
